Shameful treatment of customers

We have been using Amerigas for some time now. We are moving out of our home and getting ready to rent the home. Trying to get assistance from Amerigas is almost impossible because their customer service is based overseas and are very hard to understand. Recently we have decided to change to thompsons gas because their service is significantly cheaper and they have a local office you can contact for customer service. Amerigas has been trying to prevent that change by playing games with us when it comes to picking up their tank! Your company has been fired! Come get your tank it’s been two months since we have asked you to remove your tank off our property. This business practice is extremely unethical!

Everything was good until I canceled service due to a move 5 days after the tank was filled & Amerigas won't refund me any of the $304. I guess the new owners got a full tank on me.

No absolutely not. We have always paid our bill in advance and we were just billed $186 for a second delivery that we didn’t get and when we called and asked about this we were told it was a delivery then we were told it was a tank rental fee, so I am writing a letter to corporate Demanding to know what exactly were being charged for

They never set up the payment plan that we agreed on. I had to pay additional late payments. They came to drop off a delivery in which I refused and they showed up the next day against my request and filled it back up causing me to accrue more payment owed.

Our delivery person is always professional, friendly, and efficient. The office crew is quick to help and always listens too us. I love the levelized billing program. Makes budgeting so much easier.

I’d give less than one star if I could. While the delivery folks seems to be awesome, whoever manages billing issues has driven me to find another propane provider in the area. They are rude, condescending, and it’s been problem after problem dealing with whoever they’ve outsourced to handle billing which is frustrating since propane is already expensive in the area.I’ve also been put on hold numerous times and left there until I’ve hung up or been disconnected. If I could give less than one star, I would.

YOU can't get in touch with anybody in America. Nothing ever gets done dealing with over-sea's customer service NOTHING !. The worst customer service ever. Been during business with them for 5 years of problems..Changing over to Value Propane Great PeopleI had to give it one star so I could post this.

This is long going story. I haved to call numerous times about a variety of issues the right hand doesn't talk to the left hand I have had to be on the phone for hours and hours multiple times trying to straighten things out over a 10 month period. Finally at the end result I disconnected my service told Amerigas to come and get they're tank and I hooked up with another company and bought my own tanks. And if all of that bad customer service wasn't bad enough. About two weeks later the disconnected empty tank was sitting there and the Amerigas driver came along and started filling it up my disconnected tank my brother comes out and told him no the tank isn't even hooked up we've ended service. For real we received a bill for 200 something dollars that has never been resolved after multiple phone calls you want me to pay the bill after my account was payed in full and the account was closed. The moron driver that That filled us up didn't even notice the tank was disconnected and there was two brand new white tanks sitting there! Couple weeks later we received a bill for the gas they mistakenly placed in the tank it has not been resolved after multiple phone calls and now they're turning us into collections.
