Got a whole entire family reserved, first round of foods wasn't all that, second round were all nice fresh BBQ steaks, and the third round were somewhat Asian dishes which wasn't that bad. Very nice outgoing staffs, very cool and nice different experience which makes the whole trip goes by so fast. The gift shop were cool and packed with tourists. Little play ground for kids. Beautiful all around outdoor scenery. Cool little clean picnic spot. Plenty of parking space.

I took my two daughters and my daughter-in-law on the dinner cruise to celebrate all of our birthdays. It really was a perfect evening, the crew was awesome, the Captain was polite, funny and very informative and the food was delicious. If I were to change anything I would extend the time on the lake after the meal. Just a little extra time. I know I would be willing to pay a little more for an extra half hour. This came up as Mark Souza, we share the same home computer, but this was written by Dixie Mahan who was the one who had a wonderful evening with her "girls"!

It's an OK experience but I believe overpriced. You will need to ask the staff to board the cruise as there are no instructions ever and once aboard, you will be seated with other 2-3 other parties on an aluminum stadium type bench with a shifty pad that must be adjusted any time someone gets up from the table. At this point, you will then sit in the hot sun downing tiny glasses of water as you wait for the entire cruise to board, which will take upwards of 30-45 minutes as most are elderly and need assistance trekking down the dirt and rocky mountain. Once moving, there is a weird tense vibe in the air from the very beginning as we cruise along the lake listening to pop music with ads from the radio boomed over the speakers. What someone else said about there being no butter for the bread is true - we had to ask. And we had to ask for more bread. We were never told we could eat or what the overall plan for the evening was so we just followed along with the others. You will be given 1 tiny bowl and 1 tiny plate with no instructions as to whether these are salad, dessert, appetizer, or main course dishes. The crew will release you by tables to fill your tiny dish with whatever small amount of food has been laid out. There will be no offerings of seconds. All the food will quickly be whisked away from the small table by the staff never to be seen again. At this point, the crew goes in reverse for releasing table order and if you got to get your small salad first, now you will be served last (about an hour later - ugh!). By now, the servers will stop attending to your needs and the captain and crew will begin eating the food themselves - this was the weird vibe that you can sense from the very beginning as you now realize the entire crew has been watching everything you take hoping that you have left enough for them! All sense of goodness jumped ship when I heard the strangely dressed captain begin complaining that he didn't get any dessert on the last cruise because the paying customers ate it all. He then moaned and groaned asking the staff to deliver him some corn acting like we were all just pests on his cruise stealing his food and how dare we eat the food that we paid for. We also heard another server complain about not liking root beer as he drank it from a gigantic cup with a straw he had helped himself to while we were all told there was no more root beer for ourselves. They serve 2 types of potato salad that no one will touch and really should be served with the salads at the beginning. Had they done this, I may have actually tried them but because my plate was so small, I wasn't about to fill it with questionable looking potato salad after waiting an hour. The shrimp was cold after having sat out for an hour but we ate it anyways. The steak was also served cold and cooked unevenly so whether you like it rare, medium, or well-done you're going to get a bit of all of it - or maybe all the good pieces were taken and we were left with the scraps. At this point of the cruise, you will be begging the staff for everything from more steak sauce to drink refills because they are all busy eating and ignoring the paying customers. The view for the anchored boat is a bridge with loud obnoxious trucks jake-braking and you will not set sail around the lake or witness the sun set because the captain and crew are busy eating. The weird vibe continues as a variety of prepackaged desserts are thrown out feeding frenzy style and knowing that the captain has already made it quite clear that we are merely here to make sure that he gets his dessert, you will be reluctant to choose any of them let alone try to enjoy it. After dessert, the captain will hoist an old oddly-shaped glass flower vase into the air asking for tips, which, oddly enough, already had cash in it before the cruise ever started. The finale is being told the gift shop is closed and all bathroom needs must be met on the boat, which has 1 bathroom and then the women file into line where you will stand for the rest of the cruise as you return to the

Lake Shasta is a beautiful lake and water level was high, the cruise was what we had hoped for with the views. The crew on the dinner cruise was friendly. The boat was extremely crowded and people sat upon people to eat. The food was cold and disgusting, overall was disappointed for the price , my husband and I took 3 bites of main and left the rest.

This was an amazing evening and the staff were wonderful. We went on this cruise for a friends birthday. The environment on the boat was set up perfectly to enjoy conversation and the beautiful scenery around Lake Shasta. The multi-phased dinner was great. If someone went home hungry it was their own fault!I also want to especially thank the captain and crew for their support when we had a medical situation with the birthday "boy". They handled the situation even better than we could have asked. The best part is the evening (and patient) ended on a VERY good note. Thank you all for the amazing service and compassion!

My wife and best friends/neighbors had a wonderful dinner cruise on Shasta Lake Saturday, May 20, 2023. Dinner and service were perfect. We started off with fresh bread and two types of spread, then progressed to salads and fresh fruit. Main course consisted of tri-tip, bbq chicken and another type of chicken, fresh veggies, and a shrimp and Cajun corn on the cob selection. All was delicious! They offer ice water, soft drinks, a passion fruit drink, and ice tea. We brought some white wine . Desert was a custard/cookie mix and also delicious. The weather was a "10". Not too hot, a slight breeze, and clear skies. The lake was at 100% capacity.All-in-all we had a most wonderful time and plan to do it again before the season ends.

This is a wonderful cruise! The lake is full this year and you will have so much fun! The food is great with a lively crew that will entertain you with stories of "what lies beneath the waters of Shasta Lake" and more. Make sure this is part of your visit to our area.

This was a surprise trip planned by my husband for my B-Day, and it was awesome! The tour starts off with an exhilarating boat ride across Shasta Lake. It was a warm day even early in the morning - best time to take the tour - so it was nice to spend time enjoying the coolness of the caverns and the extraordinary interior. The crystalized stalagmites and stalactites are impressive. Our guide Ethan kept the tour so lively and informative - he was very knowledgeable!

I loved this dinner cruise so much, I expected buffet type food as others have mentioned but no....the food is EXCELLENT, the cook does a fantastic job, the staff are so friendly and nice, everyone was in a good mood and the scenery is fantastic. It was hot too, but somehow I really didn't notice that much, can't wait to go again!

We got all dressed up expecting a romantic dinner cruise. Far, far from it. Food is mediocre as it cooled-off and no wine on board. They should post that "prominently" on their website before one books the reso . Over $180 in dinner for 2 ? A dry dinner? Dry cruise surrounded by folks in shorts and beach-wear. A Tri-tip with Coke does not work, at all. And the anniversary we were celebrating with romance, was shot. No such romance sitting at a bench-table having small talk with strangers, rather than gazing into my wife's eyes. Terrible, never again. And there is nothing wrong with that type of excursion and folks in beachwear, But the description on the website should be very, very clear. "This is a very casual evening boat cruise, with a non-alcoholic buffet served".Do NOT advertise it as a dinner cruise. It is not.On the other hand, the staff was delightful. Very friendly. But the web-designer should be replaced.

We’ll worth the stop! Our guide Ashley was great. Special shout out the boat driver Donna who made a special stop to drop our group at our houseboat parked on the next cove over — saved us a cumbersome hike over the rocks!

Had a great time with the family on this lovely dinner cruise. The lake is gorgeous, the staff were friendly and good humored, and the food was delicious. Hard not to love tooling around a lake on a boat with great food and great company. Would recommend to anyone visiting this area. Also do the Shasta Caverns!!
