I have since changed pharmacies, but they messed up or were out of something every single month. They NEVER answer their phone. Some people have no technological knowledge whatsoever and still call in for their refills. Rit Aid in Lake Isabella is the worst pharmacy ever!

If I could rate 0 stars I would. Aside from the two pharmacists, everyone in this pharmacy is absolutely incompetent. They never communicate, they will likely lose your prescription at least twice before actually filling it, I'm not even sure the phones are hooked up because they sure as hell never answer them. I'm over a week late on a medication that I know for a fact has been sent in to them THREE TIMES, but they still don't have it in their system. I would rather buy my meds from a sketchy merchant in a roadside ditch than deal with these people at this point--at least the guy in the ditch would be somewhat reliable in comparison.

Caregiver here and my patient is in chronic severe pain, his medication ran out days ago. We were sent here because The Drug Store closed, never had a problem with them. They hardly answer the phone. Prescriptions where sent to this pharmacy 2 weeks ago for my client. I've been letting them know ahead of time that we'll pay cash for it if the insurance doesn't cover it because it's a prescription he need and needs it on time. I've been calling and going in person for 2 weeks to know what's going on with the prescription and everytime they tell me it has to be ordered. Yesterday they finally told me the insurance isn't approving it after being told it will be ordered by last Monday so they asked if I'll pay cash and I said yes then told me to wait for the text message that says when the prescription will be ready to pick up. I call today and my client talked to them to asked them if the prescription will be ready yes or no they couldn't answer the question so my client wanted to talk to someone who can answer the question and the lady on the phone hung up after he kept asking.

I could drive to Taft 75miles before you get to Cash register here... they call, you drive there and they want you to wait 2 hours.. sorry not ready ?????

Awful 6 people in the back and still have to wait an hour every single time in line the service is very cold and they act like they can't hear or or completely ignore you in general like talking to a wall I tried to refill a prescription and they told me I'll have to call my doctor cause they can't see an Image in their computer for the prescription like that's mine or the doctors office problem so they just won't fill it I've been without since the switch from the drugstore to here and it's crazy ?

Tourists passing by. This store was pretty empty in stock except the alcohol and the beverages. We got what we needed and left. Didn’t need to make a phone call with this store so i’ll give it a 5/5

This pharmacy is the absolute worst in this area, probably more like in this state. They never answer their phone. I spent 45 minutes trying to get ahold of anyone and they never answer, and then after 45 minutes of pressing 3 to speak with pharmacy their phone hung up. I am beyond livid and this place is ridiculous. Also I am on a certain medication and when I picked it up the tech said and I quote “O what did you do to get that medicine, I have ADHD as well and I can’t get that” I had absolutely was flabbergasted at that and all I could say was I went to the dr. So please riteaid management please handle this. It is ridiculous.
UPDATE: Called riteaid corporate and still waiting for a response. Will be calling again if not called back within a timely manner! Riteaid robot who responded to this review if you are real than really do something about it stop with the automated response to placate people. Something needs to be done immediately!!!
2nd Update: I have been on hold from 2 in a half hours minus there lunch break and I am currently still trying to get ahold of someone! What in the actual heck. Why are they so bad and disrespectful and NEVER EVER answer the damn phone. And the last time I had to go in to ask them to please fill my medicine I gently reminded they are still not answering there phone and they just thought that was hilarious that they don’t answer the phone. The actual Lady tech was like I get it we don’t answer is there another complaint. Like really it feels like they do this on purpose

They should change the name to “Wrong Aid” or “Lies Aid”
Do not use this pharmacy if you have another choice!!
After being a happy Rite Aid customer for years (at a different location) I switched to another pharmacy 3 years ago because this location rarely answered the phone and when they did they lied constantly about when the refills would be ready and “ when the truck came in”.
They played God with my mom’s medication when she had cancer. ( it was NEVER an insurance issue). Once she was 2 weeks overdue and the pharmacist had the nerve to rudely say to me “ Your mother gets her medication every month on time!” Well.. check the computer moron, you don’t know what you are taking about!!!
Unfortunately the fabulous pharmacy I had switched to recently sold their business to Rite Aid and I’m back. I have been trying to get a refill for 5 days now and I’m told something different every time! ( it’s not an insurance issue) I wish they would just have the decency to tell the truth.
Sadly this is a rural area and there is only one other pharmacy in the area. ( which I will be looking into)
I’m sure this is an overwhelming time for Rite Aid, taking on all of the the new accounts, however they have a long history of poor service, it is not due to the new influx of business.
Rite Aid corporate…Please help us! I am not the only one suffering. Look at all of the bad reviews regarding this location and they go back a long time!

Worst pharmacy ever!!! You have two good people. Ikena Iberi and Karen Hamilton. All the rest need weeks of customer service and sensitivity training. I suggest 6-8 weeks of training. And why, WHY!! Do they never answer their phone. This is an awful pharmacy!! This pharmacy holds this community hostage. It all comes from the top. I see a lot of “Owner” responses. I suggest… the “Owner” come and watch. In disguise because they all know what he looks likes…again good people come from the top and the TOP!! SUCKS!! If we had another 7 day a week pharmacy. Believe me this…WE
10,000 of us would be going there. Again, rudeness, disprepectfullness, unkindness comes from the top. So “Owner”. Wake up!!! And the list of bad attitudes to customers goes on.

I had a worst experience with this pharmacy TODAY. I am nurse at an outpatient clinic. I called Rite Aid, Lake Isabella FIVE TIMES. Two in the morning and three in the afternoon. Lo and behold, no one answered the call. I waited five minutes each call. I don't know why this pharmacy exist with the worst customer service.

This pharmacy will not answer their phone so you cannot call in your refills. Worst pharmacy ever. I hope they go out of business and a new drug store replaces it.
