We showed up just in time for storytime. The staff are always friendly and remember the kids' names. Great activities throughout the week for all ages, and amazing seasonal activities for the kiddos in the community to encourage reading.

A library is always one of the most important institutions in any town, city and county. They strive to offer instruction and edification to young and old via their collection, but also via their programs and events. I love the fact that there's a library in town, period! Let alone that they have a variety of programs to entice kids and adults to partake of increased possibilities for growth.

I really can't say enough about the Kern County Library, especially the Lake Isabella branch. Activities here are plentiful, for all ages and ability levels. Special events are frequent, for children and adults. They are open Wednesday - Friday and there is truly something for everyone to enjoy.
