I feel that US bank should owe my apartment a late fee since it's the last day for me to pay rent and I have enough money and I spent 40 minutes on the phone with US bank customer service and they could not get my rent approved online. Most apartments ask you to pay online so why would US bank not be able to process my payment. I have well enough funds to cover the charge.

Very unprofessional banker name Siona! when people hate what they do and they are so rude as well, they shouldn't service the client. She is extremely rude and unprofessional. Very cold and unwilling to help. horrible experience for the 100 times! I am amazed how she is still working there!!!

Omg How rude is the teller!! Last time I was there, she was very standoffish and a matter of fact ish as well. I just took it as if she was having a bad day. Today, she was having a yelling match with a client! This client was so upset and rightfully so, I would have been as well. Came my turn and man, she was rude to deal with as well, again standoffish. . I know she (her name is Katie) was having a bad day but jeez! This is a business! Behave professionally! I'm not going to this branch again!

Attentive, seemingly well trained clerks BUT, as seems to be the decision by this very Major 3rd to 4th Largest U.S. Bank Co., almost NEVER enough of them to service their customers when the line of those waiting (usually these days half being Elderly), grows to 3-4 or more!!! The Laguna Hills Branch on El Toro Rd. OC/CA, is THE VERY WORST run Branch, as we older folks always seem to form a line that is at least 3-4 or more forced to STAND in line on HARD flooring in order to Keep their Place in Line!!!! I gave up a few days back (after waiting 12 minutes with no attempt by the 2 clerks w/customers idly small talking while the 3rd, sat, ignoring us after her seated customer departed. The 3 others behind me gave up in disgust before i did. BAD SERVICE, folks!!! BE FOREWARNED about this Bank's intentional lack of regular, on site, clerks!!!!

This place... I just went to this US. Bank in the morning, because I need some change.A lady she said: I can't do that for you, because you don't have bank account with us. Ok, that's fine. But !! It's not the first time I've been to this place, like yesterday, I came to this place also, get some change again. A guy he helped me, I'm appreciate him for helping me out, but I don't know his name. So the problem is, she can't help me just because I don't have bank account from US. Bank, but why that guy can help me ? I think she just don't want to help me. Thumb down.

This branch is trash. Opened a simple checking account and somehow got 2 accounts created and both were locked after I made my initial deposit. Also wanted to deposit a whole bunch of change and the lady on the phone said you can go into any U.S. bank branch and deposit your loose change. When I get there they say it has to be rolled up and that they cannot accept loose change which is false, they're just too lazy to put the change through the counter. She said I can sit at the bank and roll up my quarters but yet they can't do that?? Lazy lazy lazy

I hate this bank! And this branch at Lake Forest Dr. specifically. But they're all are derelect. They lock their doors 10 min. before 5pm. They have no drive-through service. Their tellers are slow and few. The online app goes down without warning. Customer service sucks. They should remove US from their name. They are wholly owned by foreign nationals. Beware!

Probably my 2nd worst experience with a bank. 2 tellers on a Saturday, One told me he couldn't get me more money because that's all he had in his Box So he got me 2/3 of the way and then told me to gonna go see the other teller to grab the rest. I'm assuming she was the manager, she's witnessing all of this go down, so I stand in line to wait for her. She finally looks up and makes up a daily limit of what I can withdraw in cash from them.Should have opened with that.

COMPETITIVE MORTGAGE? BEWARE! I am thinking about the definitions of ROBBERY & EXTORTION and wonder if they apply... Got a US BANK mortgage 10 months ago & set up payments for every 2 weeks (PRO TIP-DO NOT DO THAT) A month ago, I got some emails, I thought were high quality phishing, that my mortgage payment was behind. I could clearly see the money leaving my non US Bank checking account. But when I got a letter in the mail with the same "non-payment" info, I immediately called. I was told that there was a "mix up" because of my every 2 week payment, but not to worry...all was fine. Fast forward a month...I get another email! I call again, and after an hour on the phone and an idiotic (for lack of better descriptor) run-around, I finally ask for a supervisor. PRO TIP-JUST ASK FOR A SUPERVISOR From the supervisor, I learn that the UB Bank system is unable to manage every 2 week payments. I point out that I've been paying this way for 8 months with no problem, and am told the "system is just now catching up". I am informed that one of my payments was viewed as an "extra payment to principal only", so that put me "behind". Further, I am informed that I need to immediately (within 2 days) make (an additional) payment or also pay late fees!!! Unbelievable! Why? US Bank personnel assisted me in originally setting up every 2 week payments! The person I first spoke with about the emails an letter said (in effect) the problem was a system glitch, and not to worry. But today...I FINALLY learn, from a supervisor, after much WASTED time on the phone speaking with basic call center personnel...that my every 2 weeks payment will be an ongoing problem and I must change my payment to only once a month. Great to figure that out. What is not great however is that effective immediately: US BANK IS: 1. Demanding an extra payment I do not owe=Feels like ROBBERY to me. 2. Threatening late fees if I don't hand over money I do not owe=Feels like EXTORTION to me. So I cough up the money and pay...I have stellar credit and I sure don't want this ridiculous situation affecting it. Take home message...when shopping for mortgages, read customer reviews. The lowest rates may not be worth future headaches! If you do go with US BANK, you might want to pencil into the costs a few thousand dollars for back-end accounting screw-ups!

Stay away from this bank, they are happy to take your money but do not return it. My parents set up their IRA'S and a large CD under a trust in US Bank. My parents have both passed I am the executor of the trust. I went to the bank to close the accounts. Apparently US bank has a life events team who handle these transactions. I was told the life events team will be in contact with me in 3-5 days, this was on 1/11/22. I emailed the bank on 1/21/22 asking when they will contact me, I was told 3-5 days. No word from this imaginary team yet. Terrible bank stay far far away from it.

Overall I love US Bank as a bank, when I would deal with my original branch I had nothing but praises for everyone there in the branch, unfortunately they shut that branch down and I now have to go to this branch. This branch is one of the worst branches I have ever been to. For one they only have one ATM and it is never working. They have drive up teller services like who even has that anymore?! take that out and some more ATMs you don't need to have a f****** person there to help me and It helps us by having more ATMs available so that when your only ATM right now isn't working I don't have to drive to the next closest ATM to drop off cash

I came here to get a money order and the lady was not helpful she kept telling me to sell my landlord which does not accept Zelle she said that 10 times. I told her what to write in the memo and on the cashiers check and it was incorrect and now I have a gigantic problem. She kept telling me to go to the grocery store which I told her I didn’t have time and I’ve already been to five places and I don’t care how much it cost I just want to order.Incredibly frustrating I do not recommend going here unless you’re desperate.

I just called to get help on how to find my Saving statement. a clerk lady printed out a paper doesn’t even look legit bank statements charged me $18 for it. When I called the manager his name (Rahim) to complain about the charge, he said sorry and charged me another $18 I don’t know why this time. I called again to ask why I’ve been charged another $18, the person who answered the phone was very rude after taking my ss# come back and said to me nothing is free. So I was charged $36 for 2 piece of paper don’t even look like statements. Never to do any business with this branch or let any of my family step in it.
