I am very angry every time I come to this store for shrimp, which is the closest to my house, for shrimp, there is no one there to serve me and I have to wait for more than half an hour.

No staff at the meat/fish counter. No staff at customer service. Truly no staff at all. This is how this place operates. Have one person on the floor and one person ringing, especially at the busiest times. I don’t blame the store; rather, I blame corporate for not spending money to adequately staff the business. They wonder why there’s theft. They blame everyone but themselves. Theft happens when you have no employees. Will they figure this out? Oh wait, they do have it figured out. They know that theft increases when they have two people on the floor. It’s a game to them. Seriously, if you’re upset about locked up deodorant, know that it’s simply security theater. Hire 2 more people and watch theft go down. Hire one undercover security guard and watch theft go down. But they won’t because theft helps their business. They yearn for theft.
It sucks because I’ve been going here for 30 years. It’s not even an operational grocer anymore. It’s a sad place that only causes frustration and sadness. Your local grocer should be an anchor of the community. There’s no good time to go. You either deal with no staff during the day or you go late at night to get better service and get attacked by employees that harass you about politics. No one wants that. Truly horrific place.

I order a pick up order I wait for more than 30 minutes. I have to get out of my car and they have me waiting inside the store just standing for another 20 minutes. When my order appear as completed I told them I will take them and they still want me to wait longer. Just ridiculous!!

A very quick pit-stop at this Ralph’s location in Lake Forest, Ca.
Came in for a few things, 2 Lt root beer, a gift card from Cheesecake Factory, and a birthday card lol.
Easy way around the store. Well organized, well lit, kept nice and clean.
Cashier was awesome, her name is Jessica. Too funny. Very kind with an excellent sense of humor.
Lots of parking available.

Love this Ralphs. Never really had a problem here. They have okay prices and I like how they show you how much you save if you are a rewards member

Horrible nauseating rot smell throughout entire store. Immediately left. Do no shop at this location, go to the El Toro one instead.

Across the street from home so I come here often. Usually staff is very kind but today I ran into a very unkind cashier named Shannon. She actually made me feel very uncomfortable and I don’t want to return because of her. I used a WIC card to buy my vegetables and formula. I also bought a few items that didn’t apply to the card which would be about a $60 difference. She went back and forth with me about my total which was more than double the correct price. I told her I didn’t buy $150 worth of groceries and I don’t think my WIC was applied to the purchase correctly. She got another girl to ask her and the girl had me run my WIC card again. After that my total came down to $62. So it wasn’t applied to the purchase, like I said. Instead of apologizing about arguing with me about the total that she messed up on, her response was “I can’t stand those WIC cards” Well Shannon I can’t stand people who complain about their jobs that they’re getting paid to do let alone do them CORRECTLY. If you’re not happy there then leave but don’t make your customers feel like that because of your mistakes.

Bought a $50 Nordstrom gift voucher from here for a friends birthday, and when he went to make a purchase someone had already used it and bought something for $48. Someone at Ralphs is taking photos of the gift voucher and using it and/or not properly protecting their product and services. Don't purchase gift vouchers from this place. Very very disappointing!!!!!!!!

I keep going back to this store since it's so close to home but I've had multiple negative experiences. For some reason my card wasn't going through even though I had plenty of money in my account. The cashier rolled her eyes and started ringing up the person behind me. On three separate occasions my purchase was not discounted as advertised but when I tried to show them on my receipt the ink was too faint to see. They told me sorry that they had problems with their new system ink. Pretty much out of luck. I still go to Ralph's all of the time. It would just be nice not to dread it so much.

The market itself is decent. I have to say tho that the meat dept is kinda weak. I wanted to purchase a rib roast and have it cut into steaks. It was on sale for $7.99 a pound. The guy came out and said if he does that for me, he'd have to do it for everybody. He was kinda rude. He told me to go the steaks section and pay $11.99 a pound for the same meat. I said no thank you. So I drove about a mile away to the Stater Bros and theirs was $6.99 a pound and they happily cut it into steaks for me. Really nice people at the meat dept there. So for meats, I'm never going to Ralph's again.

The evening staff here are AMAZING! Always pleasant, helpful, and thoughtful they are. They will literally open the door for you if you're a few minutes past closing. Grateful to have them every time I pass through ???!
