I wish I could give 0 stars. I purchased a groom pass and they closed without providing 2 full grooms I had paid for in advance. I was never given notice they would be closing or provided a refund even though I left messages, emailed and filled out the required form. It is so disappointing because the groomers who worked there always provided great service for my dog through the years. This sounds like a case of theft by fraud. I would advise those of you who purchased actual memberships to file police reports and maybe a complaint with the city attorney's office and/or District Attorney's office. This behavior may possibly be a crime!

I like the others that have previously posted below, was an 8 year longtime, loyal customer. Not only has my annual fee not been refunded as promised, I just received an email that they have charged ANOTHER $799 yearly subscription expiring in 12 months. I've already called my C/C company to dispute this new charge.. I'm sure I'm not the only person that this has happened to, check your C/C statements!

Just like many other dog owners here, I too am extremely disappointed in the way that Petlingo treated it's most loyal and supportive clients. I had taken my dog here for full grooming for around 7 years, and I had built a great relationship with the staff over the years. I remained a member when they were forced to close during COVID, and I donated a few times when the salon reached out to their clients to gather support for their groomers that were out of work temporarily. I was one of the many that was pressured into purchasing a year of grooming up front for 2022 ("we're limiting the number of members, and memberships are running out fast!") at a cost of $700. I only used 4 or 5 services for the year when I received notice that the location would be closing. Members were promised that we would be refunded the remaining balance of our memberships if we did not want to transfer it to their other location. I even have a text from the salon that confirms they received my request form for a refund, but I have yet to receive that, and they are unresponsive to emails. It's so incredibly disappointing that the owners of the salon would treat their most loyal clients this way. They do not seem to have any qualms taking our money and running. For lack of better words, it really sucks to have been taken advantage of after supporting their business for so many years. We don't have any recourse and probably will never have any resolution.

Sadly, in November 2020...we purchased a "Groom for Life" Membership at the cost of $1699.00 along with purchasing 2 "Self Bathe" passes for $100 / Each. We were told when our Lake Forest Salon closed, that they passes and membership would transfer to their "South Coast" store... but, then found out...they had closed 2 other locations. By the time we saw the writing on the walls... our "June Groom" was canceled the evening before...and we were told "The team had COVID" (which they did not) Truly disappointed in how they handled this "pyramid scheme"...as we had been faithful supporters of Glen and his team, since their early days as Lil'Lix Salon...in Lake Forest. I hope our $$ and the $$ that so many others are out...went to a good cause. We miss Karen (our go to groomer) and hope she is doing well along with the other amazing team members... Sad it ended this way...especially after being "told" we would ALL receive "refunds".

I am in the same position as many of the members who got their money taken away from the no-longer-existing grooming membership of 2022. I only ended up using 3 cuts each for my two dogs. They said they would refund us in 90 days which was on 7/15/2022. And that date came and gone, no refund check was received. I tried calling and emailing them multiple times. The phone went to voicemail and the mailbox was always full. No reply on any of my emails. And now their main store in Santa Ana is permanently closed. I would love to find out ways to claim my money back. This business knew they would close for good and still cheated all of the customers into believing that a refund was coming their ways. What a crook!

What a joke! They forced customers to purchase a VIP annual membership for 2022 to be able to bring our dogs in to get groomed all to find out they shut the doors in July. So I paid $800 for a membership that I was able to get 4 cuts. Is anyone else pursing anything with this? I am going to call my credit card company today. If the owners see this, you are the most unethical crooks. You didn't even warn your members about this and I have been calling and leaving messages for the past 30 days. You are a complete joke and I hope that they take all your assets you have so you learn ethics 101 personally. If you had to close down and warned your members and customers that is understandable but to just shut down and keep your same voicemail stating to book online is just wrong! Please contact me if you are another VIP and have any insight on what to do!

If I could give this place zero stars I would. We used their services to groom our dog over the past eight years and were very happy with the service and care that Karen provided us. We were told last year that they would not be taking monthly grooming appointments, only yearly memberships. Because our dog is so anxious and she had only been groomed by Karen, we went ahead and paid the $700 for the grooming membership fee for 2022. We took our dog in for the first grooming and then received an email they were moving locations from Lake Forest to Santa Ana. It was really too far for us to go so I requested a cancellation. They told us we had to wait 90 days for a refund. I know now they were buying time and had no intentions of refunding monies. We received another email stating that refund checks would be mailed on July 15. Funny thing, I waited a week after that date and still no check arrived. We drove down to their new location in Santa Ana to find out they were closing the business down that day. We are now out the $700. Not sure what our recourse is but we will do some research to find out. We were really scammed!

Yes they are closed but only after ripping off a lot of people with the Grooming Program they supposedly were moving to. They charged $700 for a years worth of grooming. After 3 months, they shut down with no notice. We received an email in June stating refund checks would be issued. As of today, July 30 we have received no check. The website says email them for "info". I've been emailing for 2 weeks and no response. Terrible business and they seem just fine keeping money that does not belong to them. I had been taking my dog there for many years. It's a shame they decided to do this to loyal customers.

I have been going here for years. Even when they changed location, I followed. They take such good care of my 100 pound golden, Hudson. The prices are fair and the animals are loved.

I hope they stay closed In April on the 19th 2019 I got a call saying my precious pug was unresponsive after her bath They gave me some BS that she just slumped over I'll never truly know what happened to my baby I only know I ran in there sobbing and screaming and I sat in the little room next to the shop rocking my pug I'm sure they couldn't wait for me to leave They even helped me load her into my car In a cardboard box and threw some stuffed animal in it like that was supposed to help I'm sorry I hate this place my pug was healthy I don't want to even hear any response from this place On top Of it they have the audacity to sent me emails promoting the place Go away Please don't take your dog here
