I recently took my cat to Lake Forest Animal Clinic and had a great experience with Dr. Lana Bordcosh. Right from the start, she was super friendly and really took the time to hear us out. We never felt rushed, and she patiently listened to all our concerns. Dr. Bordcosh knew exactly what to do and explained everything in a way that was easy to understand. Thanks to her, we left with the right meds and advice. Huge shoutout to Dr. Lana for being awesome!

Lake Forest Animal Clinic is great I bring both my cats here, been coming for years! All the doctors are amazing. The staff are always really nice, professional and extremely helpful(especially Julie and Jordan). Highly recommend bringing your pets here!

I appreciate all the doctors and staff at Lake forest Animal Clinic. Sometimes I go there so upset I can't remember my own name. Other times I'm so happy that my baby Angel is in recovery or back to her old self driving me nuts with wanting my attention. I love her no matter what stage she is in. When I have, not so good days and I'm running around like a chicken with my head cut off, the face that I see the most watching me for that right moment to jump in calm me or pick up where others left off is sweet Kim. I've known Kim for many years, goes far back to a different clinic where Kim and I were much younger and I relied on her for her honest personality putting out her best efforts in getting a customer like myself to get a smile back on my face no matter how upset I am. Kim, keep up the good work, you're one in a million. I'll always keep asking, "Is Kim still here?"

I don’t usually write reviews but I just have to share my experience here. This amazing small animal practice is the best place to take your pups. The staff is amazing and Dr Trope takes the time to explain all your options. They truly care!! I definitely recommend it to everyone!!!

Our dog was digging at his ear. It was Labor Day weekend. We felt he needed to see a vet and our regular vet was closed. We are so grateful to Lake Forest Animal Clinic for getting us in on a Saturday. We were greeted by Kim who was cheerful and friendly. She was thorough in making sure we had our dog up to date with vaccines. Steven the tech was very kind and gentle holding our dog. He did a nice job explaining the procedure and the cost of treatment. Dr. Kim was friendly and explained everything in detail to us. She was kind and gentle while examining our dog. We couldn’t ask for better care. Thank you Dr Kim, Steven and Kim for taking care of us. We are very grateful.

The staff is wonderful and very friendly. My dog gets treatments for his ears, eyes and skin problems. I would recommend this animal clinic to everyone. Ps Thank you Kim for your care and attention.

Beyond thankful for Dr. Trope and the entire team here!! They have been amazing with both of our dogs from the first visit! From routine check ups to when our older girl started dealing with cognitive issues as she aged and even just the compassion and care they gave our entire family after she passed. Anytime a friend asks I refer everyone we can to them! Also note my family and I drive from Menifee (about an hour and a half) and will continue to do so with any animals we have!

Very friendly staff and clean facility. However everytime im told they would call to let me know when my pets are ready for pickup, they don't. Been more than a handful of times from a lot of appointments. Even after a spay surgery, it's passed closing time and i decide to call and ask "is.... my pet okay?" They simply forgot. I know theyre busy, but it seems like a constant issue. When we are scheduled to come for a checkup, they just take my pet to the back and I'm told to wait. Those times I was hoping I can talk to the vet to explain how my pet is doing because how would they know the medicine is even working out? Yes the blood test will tell, but still No communication. That's probably how they prefer to handle things. They just say "we'll contact you"
They have snacks though.

Fortunately I didn't have to take my dog to emergency to get his paw fixed. I have been there before and had a great experience.

I love this place!! My dog recently had a surgery to remove a growth on his eye, and everything went amazing. The doctor, staff and manager are all great. My pup loves seeing them! I have referred friends to them as well.

We have always received excellent, compassionate care from this animal hospital. Dr. Trope is honest and never tried to "sell" us anything that wasn't necessary. I will happily continue to bring my pets here!
