Front desk was great as always...welcome you and always find a way to make the very start of your work out begins with a smile.The club was not crowded at all, maybe 14 peeps at the most. And all of them were about that gym life like almost all of LA FITNESS MEMBERS.Did a push-day and every piece of equipment I was wanting to smash on was available just how I like it!

Gym is dirty, outdated and offers very few classes.Furthermore, BOTH MY DAUGHTER AND I CANCELLED OUR MEMBERSHIP TO JOIN CLOB STUDIO, however this location CONTINUED TO CHARGE AFTER FORMAL CANCELLATION!!!Total scammers!!!

Clean and enjoyable place to unwind and workout. Staff is attentive and accommodating. The only thing I have a concern about is that the bike rack is located far away from the entrance and hidden to the side of the building. I have an e-bike and would like to park it there but with the temptation of the location of the back rack I can't help knowing it would be stolen. Could Management find a place within the facility to place the bike rack. Where it is located currently I have never seen one bike locked up there, "perhaps with reason".?

Body Works with Cyg and Zumba with Dina was above and beyond. Both these instructors better than any others at different locations. Five plus stars for Cyg and Dina!!!

Severely lack of properly ventilationThis LA FITNESS on Portola doesn’t get as busy as other ones, but goodness, this gym is hot… suffocatingly hot. It’s almost like working out in a mild to moderately heated sauna when this gym gets busy. I’ve been working out at different LA Fitness locations, and never had to step outside to prevent a potential asthma attack.This gym has potential! It is one of the better facilities in the Irvine / Lake Forest area that is not overcrowded.

Good location. Weekend hours should be longer. Closing at 8pm on Saturday and Sunday is too early. They should have standard 11pm closing time every day of the week.

I love this place. I’ve been a regular at this location for just over a year now. I love it here. There’s always staff cleaning to ensure the place is maintained and clean, but I have to give a shout-out to Zach. He’s a homie! He works the front desk a lot and I’ve gotten to know him a bit working out in there and he’s a super good dude. Everyone’s great and it’s the only gym I find myself coming back to

I like this gym a lot more than that my last gym. The equipments machines are much better than my gym they have free weights lot machines I usually both sides I like my trainers have been up and downs one my favorite trainers was Juan a Rivera I stared to train with him Since July 2022- January 2023, he train me a lot with torso, legs and chests and arms he also wrote my trainers note book and he was one my favorite that trainers at la fitness.

Kind of ridiculous. They don't have a single basketball to give their members and not a single employee here knows why. Gym smells like dumpster fire too.
