Easy, Smooth Transaction!
I recently purchased a 2024 Subaru Crosstrek Wilderness from Subaru Irvine, and the entire experience was fantastic. From start to finish, the process was seamless, thanks to the outstanding team there.
Special shout-out to Ryan, the Sales Manager, who made the entire transaction so easy. He was knowledgeable, approachable, and really listened to my needs, ensuring I got the perfect vehicle. Ryan’s professionalism and customer-first approach made me feel confident in my decision.
Chris from Finance was also excellent—he made the financing process stress-free, walking me through all the options without any pressure. Chris made sure I understood everything and got the best deal possible.
Overall, the Subaru Irvine team provided a top-notch experience, and I couldn’t be happier with my new Crosstrek Wilderness. If you're looking for a smooth and efficient car-buying process, I highly recommend Subaru Irvine and their incredible team!

The service department is awesome! Great customer service and they go the extra mile to ensure your vehicle’s issues are addressed the first time. I get both of my Subarus serviced at Frank’s. No other dealership comes close to Frank’s level of service and service charges are reasonable. Highly recommend Frank’s Subaru.

In May of 2024, I took my 2021 WRX STi to have the battery tested and to have the DCM checked. I told Tyler, one of the service advisors, my conerns and showed him my documentation of those concerns. He listened to me, took my car in, and even got me into a complimentary vehicle to use for the day. They ended up replacing the DCM with a bypass box under warranty, which is exactly what I was hoping they’d do. All in all, I’d recommend this dealership for service. They listened to me and didn’t give me the run-around like most dealerships do. Out of 4 dealerships that I’ve been to in SoCal, they have been the best, by far. Highly recommended.
UPDATE: 2 weeks later, the check engine light came back on. It continued to turn off and then come back on. I took my car back in and got a loaner. It was there for 3 weeks while they diagnosed it, ordered parts, and installed them. First, they replaced the bulkhead harness but the light continued to come on. Then, they replaced the engine harness and the light went away. It hasn’t come back since. There were absoloutely no scratches or dings on my car. I’m very particular about my car and am very impressed with the work done here, especially because it was a major job. Honestly, and I know this sounds crazy, they have done better work than some of the well-known Subaru specialty shops around the area. I’m going to come back here for any services that I don’t want to do myself just because they took care of my car. If I ever need another Subaru, I’m coming here as well. I’d love to give this dealership my business. Thank you to my service advisors, Tyler and Leo. I appreciate you guys.

Outstanding experience at Frank’s. I started the process online to qualify. Worked with the finance team and our salesperson, Tim, while they came up with a number I was comfortable with. They didn’t have the color Impreza that I wanted in stock and I wanted to make a deal that week so Tim went above and beyond and had the exact car I wanted transferred over from a dealership in San Diego.
When I arrived to test drive and finalize everything, Tim was there waiting. Following the test drive, he took me to the finance manager, Chris (I believe), who was also a delight and didn’t pressure me for the extras (though we did add GAP & an extended warranty for peace of mind). At the end, Tim hooked us up with toys for our Frenchies at home, Subaru water bottles, and other little accessories - I appreciated this touch.
Overall, it felt like a white glove service and I felt respected and valued. I will continue to be a repeat customer and am so glad they’ll be providing me with 2 years of complimentary service on my new Subie!

I was happy to have purchased a Subaru 7 years ago and I go by once a year for an oil change. I am always happy with the service I receive and have not had any issues with my Outback. My grandson appreciates the service area in Pretend City that is sponsored by Frank's Irvine Subaru.

I'm quite particular on where I get my vehicle serviced because like a good doctor it matters how my car is treated. I bought my 21 Crosstrek Sport down at Timmons in Long Beach 3 years ago. Had a wonderful experience with those guys but recently moved to Irvine so decided to try Frank's out because of distance.
But I must say the difference in experience is quite opposite. While Frank's Subaru does seem to have solid customer service. It does fall short in feeling overall disorganized and cluttered in there. When you pull in there's limited space for car manuerabilty. At Timmons the attendants actually come out and meet you and follow you inside. One person is responsible for you throughout the whole process. At Franks you're jumping between people and while you do have an assigned advisor, you still have to go from one place to another. Also, a slight pet peeve when service centers don't line up your seats and floors. Just that little gesture goes a long way.
The lack of sitting areas and had end up sitting on a kids table to get access to an outlet (computer charger low). It's crowded in there and small feeling.
Finally, my biggest frustration with this place is the pick up. You go to pick up at a window (not your assigned advisor) who just reads your service summary which I can do for myself. But I want instead the person who I spoke to first to go over that with me. And then when your car is "ready" it's not actually ready. Your have to wait outside (and waited a good 30 minutes!!) for them to bring it out. It makes no sense. If a car is ready then it should be ready. I stood there just wondering when my car was finally going to be come out. I'm thinking they tried to estimate and time it right to get the cars out of there because of lack of space
At Timmons, you come out grab your keys and the car is right there waiting for you. Done.
The difference between these two dealers is so astronomical that I fortunately will not be coming back to Frank's and make the effort to drive back to down to the folks down at Timmons that know what their doing.
The management at Franks needs to reconsider and revise the way they service their cars.
I seriously do not recommend bringing your vehicle here to be service. If you are okay with these annoyances then by all means go for it. But there are better places to go.

You did all bad. Everything you guys say was all lied. You always diagnose our Subaru wrong and all the reviews I read was you guys always diagnose wrong in all your clients. You only want is money. You will never gain any trust from your Subaru clients.

I strongly advise against using this dealership for any services. They are a small operation and have consistently delayed even the simplest tasks. Additionally, they refused to honor the warranty I paid for, despite everything being in my name. I spoke with the dealership and confirmed that I have the warranty under my car but it is not in my name, and they refused to honor it. When I refused to pay and left, I verified with Subaru headquarters, which confirmed my warranty. However, due to this dealership's system limitations, lack of power, or possible fraudulent practices, they refuse to give me my rights.
I will definitely be taking my business to other Subaru dealership, which accepted everything without hassle. However, here in this dealership at the beginning, they accepted my warranty, but after that, the quote went around $3,000, which they refused to accept. As a result, I had to wait for four days with my car parked for nothing. This dealership is small, poorly managed, and lacks professionalism. For the sake of your peace of mind, avoid using any services from this dealership.
For future reference, here is the picture of the service manager.

Upfront pricing and transparent sales practices. You can expect to pay the list price + standard taxes and fees, without any surprise add-ons or hostile sales tactics. I accepted a warranty extension on a 2022 vehicle from 3 years to 7 years for an extra $1200, and didn't feel pressured or manipulated one way or the other.

I want to give a special shout out to James Sandan for exceptional customer support, assistance, patience, communication, and for getting me into a new 2024 Ascent Onyx Limited edition. The guy answered ALL my questions even after the dealership was closed. Yall got a customer for life because of his A1 customer support. That young man is a special team member to that dealer!
