“Very clean place. Seems to be fairly new. Breakfast was typical of this chain. I would gladly stay here again. It's convenient to the freeway and several local restaurants.”

“It’s in a great location near some restaurants. Down the street is an Albertson’s to get some groceries because this room comes with a kitchen and a full size fridge and freezer. The room was clean and had fresh towels and sheets. Service was great too but my only complaint is the free breakfast had a small selection of hot foods. Other than that it was perfect.Food & drinks: They have a bar inside the hotel and the drinks were very good and the service was great.”

“We had a quick overnight stay and the hotel did its job just fine. Would recommend and try again if needed. There is a restaurant and bar on site but we ate off site. Most of the guests seemed to be business travelers so the hotel is quiet. Easy access off the freeway too.”

“We really like this hotel in Lake Forest. We've been here a few times. It's very clean. The employees are courteous. The daily breakfast is nice. It's location is central to many amenities. There are several restaurants across the street and shops just down a few blocks. Easy freeway access. We highly recommend this location.”

“I traveled to Orange County on a business trip where I stayed for 7 nights. I brought my daughter and we both felt very safe during our stay. The hotel was under construction and being remodeled. I had a 1 bedroom suite that had been newly remodeled. All of the staff was very warm and welcoming. My room was very clean, spacious, and comfortable. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to the area.”

“I was very worried after reading these reviews. I was swayed by my pocketbook. It's difficult finding a hotel for 2 adults, 4 kids and 2 large dogs. We also had 2 cars and most hotels in Orange County charge for daily parking. I came into this hotel with very low expectations. It is a Best Western and I have Diamond status. The gentleman who checked me in acknowledged my status with a gift bag. He also apologized profusely for the pet fee. I knew going in the policy for their pet fee. $30/ day wasn't that bad. However, what it didn't say on the website was that it was per pet so I did end up paying 60 per day which I did not contest at the end of my stay. The only hiccup I had during the stay was that I asked for a blanket. The front desk said he'll send it up. After an hour or more I called down asking for the blanket. He said it'll be 10 minutes. I didn't get it for another 45 minutes. The next day the body wash dispenser ran out and I called for that. They came within 30 minutes. I don't feel this was a deal breaker for me. The price I paid was a great value for this place. The exterior of the building was well manicured. The room was clean. The heater was working. We had a balcony with no view but it gave us fresh air. There was a coffee machine in the lobby that serves mocha, espresso and cappuccino. The breakfast was plenty and varied. There were even toppings for the waffles. The gym had a brand new Peloton. There was a large business Center. The lobby was clean . I can go on and on. I think those with negative reviews need to remember that you get what you pay for. You can pay double and stay across the street at Hampton Inn or Homewood Suites (I have elite status there as well) but might still find problems over there. I find that this hotel is the best value and best location. It is close to Laguna Beach, restaurants and malls.”

“Very nice place. Looks to have been remodeled. Rooms are good size. Lots of modern decor. Bed was very comfortable. Will stay here again. Only negative was we thought breakfast was till 10, it was 9. We got our food but the person started putting things away before everyone had left. They usually don't do that.”

“I stayed here and it was fine, there's a good amount of parking. Everything in the room was working. It wasn't too busy when I was here. I recommend this place if you need a room in Lake Forest.”
