I have been going to El Toro RV since they moved to Orange. I have always been happy with the service advisor's professionalism and with the repairs! In the recent past, they took care of my motorhome after a horrible tire blow out that caused major damage. Some repairs involved custom work since the parts were no longer available. Everything was done with care and quality, and they even handled all of the communications with the insurance company. I was very happy with the outcome.
My most recent service was outstanding! I was getting ready for a road trip only to find that someone had stolen my catalytic converter!! The service advisors magically found a way to get my coach in immediately, ordered the parts, and did the repairs in time for me to take my scheduled trip. I am so grateful for Miguel, Mike and the repair team. Without them, I would have had to cancel, costing me more money and the loss of another amazing RV experience.
I put my full trust in El Toro RV. So far, I have not been disappointed.

I hate leaving negative reviews as a business owner it makes my stomach crawl but after months of trying to get them to do the right thing I am left to share my terrible and expensive experience. This business has left damage to our coach which they denied causing as well as mechanical issues with our slide that we did not have prior to their work. We had set up to have the work done in October 2023 with pre-approval from our manufacturer given to them to have all the materials ready for them at this time. Not only did they fail to do the work while they had it they also did not even order the materials. We came to pick it up after two weeks to find out they had not done anything, even after they had agreed to try to get it done during this time since we are full-timers. To say we were disappointed is a massive understatement! Since they are the only approved repair facility on the West Coast our manufacturer-approved for warranty work we had to go back to them for the repair in May 2024. Upon returning and opening our slide we had deep gouges on our floor, a loud grinding noise from our slide, the slide not retracting properly, the slide riding on the floor in transit, and now more gouges on our floor. After talking to and taking multiple measurements the manufacturer of the slide mechanism informed us that the repair shop had most likely caused a misalignment in the slide system which resulted in all of our problems post their repair. We are especially concerned about their lack of accountability for the damage they caused. They specifically told us our slide would have to be removed to make the repair so we emptied everything but clothes before we took it in both times to later be told they did not remove the slide. This begs the question why did they tell us that twice and our manufacturer told us that was standard procedure too? Now that we have both physical and mechanical damage they are claiming they did not remove the slide but they clearly moved, jacked it up, or did something to cause the proceeding issues we now have post their work. They have only agreed to pay half of fixing our floor. Nothing to realign our slide and mechanisms which is clearly the biggest issue. Our slide does not even suck in all the way at the bottom anymore. My recommendation is to video and get everything they intend to do in writing if you have to take your RV here. Best of luck because this has been the worst situation I’ve ever experienced from car, motorcycle, home, or RV repair. Please excuse the tape we were trying to keep the torn floor from getting caught on the dragging slide. I wish Google had negative stars -

There was more than ample and adequate communication between my husband and your staff about our timeline, living situation, pre-approval of repairs from our manufaturer and materials that would be needed prior to our intial drop off in Oct of 2023. Stating otherwise is a falsificatoin of the facts as I was with my husband at each contact with your staff prior to setting up the initial appointment and dropping it off the first time.
Lippert Schwintek slides do have a history of metal shavings on their slides which is not related to what we are now dealing with. We were seeing light shavings on occasion prior to the second time we brought our rv in to be worked on at your facility. HOWEVER we never had any loud grinding, popping, nor was the slide riding on the floor in transit, nor was the slide not fully retracting or damage to our floors unitl after EL TORO's work around our slide. We discussed with Lippert this Schwintek slide post your work and they confimred based on numerous measuements that the adjustments are now off. This is different from the rail shavings issue as confirmed by Lippert and a seperate repair facility.

ETRV has been our go-to servicer of first a wonderful old Fleetwood Flair that we had for many years, and now a Rockwood Minilite that we just purchased. Unfortunately, we had to have some significant body repairs done on the Rockwood, but Tony and the ETRV staff did a "like new" job. It is a seamless repair; cannot tell that there was any damage. Thank you Tony and the whole ETRV crew for your great work.

I couldn't be more happy working with El Toro RV. Tony promised our body repairs in time for a long-planned motorhome trip and didn't disappoint! The repair looks like the rig just came from the factory. Looks like new!

Took my RV in for service. Ended up with fuel pump replacement. Spark plugs and rear bushings. Left bolts out of the supporting brackets on the fuel tank took them 2 1/2 months Mike the service manager was great. Every other employee that I had contact with either lied to me or was very rude. If you’re looking for an honest mechanic, this is not your place.

We were recommended to El Toro RV by a friend, and we have not been disappointed. The El Toro team worked on our C Class, and most recently, our new Class A. Our Class A hit a rock on our first campout and it shot right through the slot in the fiberglass front cap, damaging the transmission cooler. Then, when the tow truck dropped off the RV to El Toro the tow truck company damaged the fiberglass front bumper! The entire staff of ETRV was so supportive and handled our insurance claim and repairs and worked with us to design a custom front grill guard that turned out amazing! We trust the staff so much, and their work has consistently exceeded our expectations.
