I was at first hesitant to bring my car to El Toro Muffler due to the number of negative reviews. I took a chance, and I'm happy I did. My 26 year old Honda Accord needed a new exhaust resonator. Adolfo coordinated the replacement at a reasonable price, and $900 less than the Honda dealer wanted. The replacement took place and I waited an hour and a half which is reasonable. The bad? Parking. This shop is embeded in a string of auto repair/body shops. Parking is minimal to non-existant. This is not a criticism of El Toro Muffler but rather the area which the shop is. I will bring my car back to El Toro Muffler again in the future. While the Honda dealer seems to scoff at repairing older vehicles, my experience was that Adolfo welcomed the opportunity to be of service.

So I took my car to the shop and was planning on getting my rear brakes done and the shop destroyed the rear right caliber and ruined the parking break motor which costed me a total of 3.4grand to fix.(brakes not included in warranty!)so highly recommend you look for another store that is more specialised on your vehicle make.

Took my vehicle here to get a exhaust and cat put on. They told me 150 on the phone. I get here and its 300.00 they said it sounds great! Got it home, noticed a pissing noise. They didnt even weld the top of the cat. I called they said to bring it monday morning in and out. I did that. And than when i got here he said sorry man. You have to wait till noon. When he had nothing in the shop.. will never come here again. Went around the corner had to pay 140.00 to have it fixed but it was so worth it....

They did valve work on my Cadillac. There were some minor miscommunications at the outset, but the quality of the work was terrific. I’ve had the car back for a month and it has been running like new.

I am beyond disappointed at being blatantly overcharged for less than satisfactory service. I asked Adolfo to attach a 2" trailer hitch to my car for an E-bike rack. He quoted me $350 to do the job. Instead, he attached a 1-1/4" hitch with a 2" sleeve and charged me $370, then charged an additional $50 for 2 hitch locks, one of which I never received and the other, which is useless. When I received the bike rack, the rack specs specifically prohibited this set-up. Then he didn't take my calls until I used my wife's phone (she has a different last name.) Eventually, he agreed to credit me $45, but didn't keep his word, leading to a credit card dispute. Adios Adolfo.

These people promised us a muffler delete with a loud increase in the sound of the vehicle, instead we were left with the same sounding car that was MISSING an exhaust tip as well- so they wanted to charge us for that as well! I highly recommend people stay away from this shop unless you want your money taken. Once we asked if we can just have the car as we brought it in, they claimed they would still charge as full price to reverse the work in which they had nothing done. I do not recommend thus place to anyone whatsoever, unless you are looking to have your money stolen from you and be delivered with the worst customer service possible. THE OWNER TRIED TO FIGHT US after we asked for a refund. Stay away.

Quality. Customer service, and genuine care for their customers, and the service they provide. Prices are unbeatable for the incredible work these guys do. Any work you need done, this is where you want it done... I've taken my cars to plenty of shops in the area and the prices might be slightly lower at other shops, however the quality of work does not compare to El Toro... Best in town 6 stars.

Not recommending this place. They claim they take credit cards but once job was done the guy said . Cash only . It's suspicious. If I knew before they started on the job I would took the car somewhere else. There is no signs that say cash only.
