Wasn't even allowed in the store. Door was locked and I saw a customer in there so I knocked. No one acknowledged me. I called them in the car and was told it is by appointment only and I being a new customer it would be 3 weeks! I wish I had know ahead of them before driving there. Apparently they do good business to only allow 1 customer in store I think he told me it takes 3 hours to be "Fitted"

I don't know who owns this shoe store, but they do not want people to buy it. There is people inside and they were ignoring me it was at 3 o'clock in the afternoon. this is the second time I've tried to get into that store first time I went in the yelled at me. Just beware if you're the owner you need to change your Ways if you're not, I would change my help.

The store is no longer open! If you are an old customer, the gentleman will schedule an individual mtg with you. I am an old customer, but he isn't available!!! Too bad because this was an amazing store for finding special shoes. So... off I go to San Clemente where the shoe speciality store is open to all customers!!!!

Mario is a superhero, he may not wear a cape but he deserves the title. I have gone through all different types of shoes In my life, even custom inserts. Nothing compares to the comfort these shoes provide your feet. Mario, if I could give you 12 stars I would. You have saved my life from misery and pain. He takes the time out of his day to show you everything he thinks is the best option for your feet, and he nails It completely. I am so relieved. I bought two pairs of shoes today, I can't wait to buy more in the future. I recommend one person and one person only; MARIO!

I feel very fortunate to have found Mario. I have problem feet and he always finds me just the right shoes for any occasion. I love his business model where he sees customers by appointment and referral only. This enables him to spend time with his customers. You will never feel rushed or not paid attention to. Mario even helped me analyze a type of shoes that he does not carry. His service is impeccable and is very passionate about what he does. Highly recommend him!

I don't live close to this shop, but it is definitely worth the drive! The owner is super knowledgeable about feet and shoes, and won't sell you something that isn't right fit your feet. He's very concerned about your comfort and the health of your feet. They're not the cheapest, but the quality and customer service is worth it. It's refreshing to have customer service like the "old" days.

I just tried to enter The Comfort Shoe Loft - the owner was there with the door locked. He advised me he only sells to his frequent clients - and only takes appointments. He was looking at me through the glass door - and also said he was busy doing his taxes . I told him I would be buying a pair of shoes - he replied he may be able to see me in 3 weeks. What ?

I am so happy I found Mario at Comfort Shoe Loft. I have trouble finding shoes that fit my feet and have suffered from bad fittings in the past. As his website clearly states - he is appointment only, but it is wellworth the wait! He is friendly, professional, and knows feet & shoes. For each visit, he will take the time (one on one) to find a fit that meets my needs. I will always buy my shoes from Mario.

Mario is the best!!!! Appt only and he will spend as much time as needed with you. The signs on the front door say to call for an appt so please do so-it is not a stop in anytime store. I am an RN and on my feet 14 hrs a day and he has kept me healthy and going strong. My husband and son are also well taken care of. You cannot lose with Mario!!

1. Checked website for store hours & called to confirm.2. Arrived 1 hour before closing.3. Owner/operator in store w/lights on refused to open front door to speak to me and/or let me inside to shop. Instead he pointed to a sign on the door that tells customers that the store is only open by appointment and they have to call to schedule between 1 and 5pm.4. I called & he picked up the phone (visible through front door & glass). I explained that I had driven a long way to come to his store and asked if he would allow me to shop since there were no other customers there & the store was supposed to be open during business hours.5. He refused and told me to 'make an appointment' and 'come back another day'.6. I left and bought 5 pairs of shoes at his competitor nearby, who was kind enough to wait for my arrival and help me even after that other store was supposed to be 'closed'.

This place is only open 1-5 and by appt only. All I wanted was a gift card but couldn't get that at 3pm bc I didn't have an appt. Off to a shoe store that is accommodating.

This is a STRANGE PLACE! I needed shoes and was prepared to pay a lot if I could find comfortable ones. I went to the store and although it was open with customers inside the doors were locked. Turns out I need an appointment to shop there! I was told it would takes 10-14 days for me to get an appointment because I am not a previous customer. This is not a customer friendly store and it’s not getting a second chance from me.

Mario will find you shoes that make your feet happy. He spends his time with you, getting to know your personal foot problems and tries to find solutions. His customer service is amazing!

I drove out of my way to visit this store. The door was locked and said appointments only. There was an employee/owner in the store. He would let me in if I was a past client otherwise I had to make appointment for two weeks from now. I was planning to spend several hundred dollars on shoes. I will take my business somewhere else.

I arrived at 12:15 and found the doors locked with a note that said an appointment was needed so I called. I was asked if I had purchased there previously. I honestly couldn't recall. I've been there before, pre-pandemic. When he determined I was not in their system, he refused let me make a future appointment. He is "booked out several months" and if he did set an appointment for me and a previous customer wanted it he would cancel my appointment! What kind of a BS business model is that?! I was polite and respectful, despite these totally weird rules because I am desperate for help with shoes. He has lost lifetime customers in myself and my husband. How does he stay in business? Is there something else going on here?
