Although I recognize that they were about to close as it was exactly 5 PM as I approached the door, the lady working inside ran to the door locked it right in front of me and shook her finger at me to let me know that she would not be assisting me, turned around and then walked away. There were still three other people inside being assisted. An absolutely disgusting display of customer service.

It is Chase Bank -- it will work. Chances are good you are going to need a national big-box bank account in order to meet all of your financial needs and with that in mind, I decided that I have heard the least amount of corporate scumbaggery from Chase over the years. This location is the most convenient for my situation and I have visited several times over the course of a year without issue. From other Yelpers reviews, it looks like I have been relatively lucky. From a customer service standpoint, I have few complaints. The associates are knowledgeable and eager to please, they offer just about any financial service you could need, and the ATM network is monstrous. Really the only hang-up I can come up with is that they only have 2 teller windows so chances are great you will be waiting for a bit to get help. Because of that, I tend to head to the OCCU located in the same plaza because somehow they have triple the amount of windows and agents. Chase Bank: Because Wells Fargo and BofA both suck more.

This is the worst bank I've ever dealt with, and that is saying a lot. My father passed away in February, and had Trust checking and savings account with the bank that I needed to take over as the Trustee. In March I spent hours with Rania (no longer at the branch) attempting to get the accounts in my name as signator. I supplied all trust documents and spent two hours with her while she attempted to set up the accounts. Ridiculous that this couldn't have been done and I simply come in the review and sign. Important point, my father was a Private Client, meaning he had a significant amount of money sitting in accounts earning practically nothing. Therefore, I became the Private Client, supposedly entitled to better service. Fast forward to June and Rania is gone and Mona is the bank manager that I have to deal with in order to get anything done. What I need is a signature guarantee/medallion signature in order to liquidate some of my father's financial accounts. This is a service that Chase advertises. Despite the fact that they have all of the Trust documents indicating that I have the proper authority to request this, Mona tells me legal wants more documentation. Apparently I also needed to be the executor/personal representative of the estate. This only happens when probate is opened, and this hadn't occurred yet. Mona couldn't explain why this was needed, just legal said no. Legal shouldn't have said no, since the signature guarantee I was asking for was for property in the Trust, and has nothing to do with probate. Late September, and I need another signature guarantee. Now probate is open and I supply the proof of my authority from the county court. Still not enough, even though Mona has no idea what would be enough. A week ago she tells me she is going to forward an email to me with what legal wants, since this seems to change frequently. So I find out who Mona reports to, and that's John. I contact John and he seems interested in helping, but nothing. I get Mona's email address and send her a message saying you haven't responded with what you promised last week, and I want that response in writing, since the story changes frequently. No follow through from John. I contact Chase customer service online. They pay no attention to the facts I outline about the issue I'm having with the Foothill Ranch branch. After two attempts to get them to focus on the issue, they stop responding. After almost two weeks now I don't have the signature guarantee, and this bank couldn't care less. Therefore I am unable to make estate distributions to the siblings, who need the funds. That is the point, the bank stands in the way of my father's wishes. I'm going to report them to all of the regulatory authorities and send a copy to our representatives, and in addition Elizabeth Warren, who really hates big banks, the one thing we agree on, A quick update- I called my credit union, School's First FCU, to see if they'd supply the medallion signature guarantee. In about a half hour they completed the process, only requiring my ID, Personal Rep letter, and DC. I didn't have to open a new estate account, as Chase had required, nor a Trust account, which I already had at Chase. I'll be closing the Chase account asap!

Went in to set up an account. I was told "they" were with other customers and would call me in an hour. Three hours later I called to see what was going on. Again, they said they were with customers and would call me back. Keep in mind, I didn't see anyone when I initially walked in earlier. Going somewhere else. :(

Girls were very nice but not the general manager in charge. She was not helpful and kept citing rules and regulation instead of explaining how to wire a fund smoothly. Private client?I would try to avoid a service from this branch in particular in the future. She treated a senior client like a high schooler ?

If there’s 0 or no star at all, I will NOT rate at all. I spoke with a banker and SHE told me they cannot assist me to open an IRA if it’s not $50,000. If it’s only $5,000 I need to do it on my own via Online. SHE cannot help me if it’s only $5,000 - wow! Can you imagine how Unfriendly that sounds! She needs deeper training!

My father past away and chase has funds. Went to bank to go through process to collect. Very pleasant process and was told should get mailed in about a week. After 30 days realized did not receive. Contacted bank on a friday was told that they did not know why it wasn't processed but no problem come in on Saturday and we are authorized to cut you check. Arrived on saturday everyone was pleasant and waited to be served. Aft a bit of a wait was told that there was another glitch and could not issue check. Was told i would be contacted on monday to resolve. I have a very busy schedule and realized today did not get a call as promised. Why should this be so difficult?? I constantly get emails to move my banking to chase.. would you with this kind of service??

I opened a business account here about a year ago and have had nothing but problems. The lady who helped me mistakenly took the information from my personal account and applied it to my business account, including the address and email. I tried to tell her that the information was completely different and I didn't want it to be associated in any way, shape, or form.As a result, my BUSINESS correspondence was sent to my parent's house and my mom's email. It took me this long to realize the extent to which they messed up my information and the damage it has done to my personal life. Even now, it is nearly impossible to fix because no one will answer the phone.

They have a phone number listed which no one picks up and they insist to make an appointment. No idea how would someone make an appointment if they refuse to pick up the phone ever.

My review is specific to Michael Wakes (Chase Private Client). Michael helped to close a merchant account after I had problems getting it closed properly. He worked with me all the way through the process and provided the highest level of customer service. Michael is very knowledgeable, articulate and professional. I could not have asked for better customer service.

Worst customer service ever. Had to wait there for 20 minutes plus in order to wire the money while they had two bankers available . One of the teller tried to find someone to help me out, but one had to leave on personal matter! (Rania Younan) NMLS ID:795918 and the other guy (Michael Wakes) NMLS ID:1474146 was screaming at the teller that he is busy and he has other stuff to take care of first. 45 minutes in the branch and ended up with the same guy (Michael Wakes) and now he is trying to explain himself and waisted another 15 minutes of my time! I ended up just walking out without finalizing my wire. This is the worst branch I've ever been to. Rude and unprofessional please avoid going to this branch. If I could I would give it no star.
