I was in desperate need to wire an earnest money deposit for escrow for my first home purchase! Despite the negative reviews, I visited this branch because I had been here before and had a great experience.
Due to my appointments and schedule I only had this time slot to try to go and wire the deposit. I went up to the counter and met Ingrid Jayasekara. I told her the situation and she was very understanding of the urgency and tried to see if I could meet with the manager. He didn't have any openings that day, but she tried to squeeze me in for a later time. Unfortunately, I had a meeting coming up and couldn't meet at that time either. She thought for a second and told me to come with her. She took me to her office where she fast tracked the entire wiring process. She jumped through hoops and showed her experience as she found ways for me to get it done even without my BofA debit card.
She got the entire process done seamlessly and in under 30 minutes. She saved my butt that day and showed me a level of customer service I haven't seen since pre-Covid.
THANK YOU, Ingrid! You are such an asset to BofA and you made my entire day.

I had to read and reread a few of the reviews to try and understand the low average for this branch. I have recently had a couple of rather complex banking issues/concerns. One involved being transferred as a Power of Attorney (POA) and the other involved a Home Equity Line of Credit (HELOC). The POA was quite involved but Peter Bigharaz (Relationship Manager) was extremely patient and thorough as he walked me through a detailed process. For the HELOC, Peter was joined by Ingrid Jayasekara (Relationship Banker). Ingrid was also patient and very detail oriented. She even followed up after the fact to ensure satisfaction. These two have my sincere vote of confidence!

Absolute worst customer service on the planet! Different staff every time I’m there. All the good staff leave. Finally had enough and went to a different bank. Can’t be less caring.

The most ludicrous banking experience and I have been a BofA customer for 20 years. A simple wire transfer for a home closing which needs to be executed the same day requires an appointment and they couldn't guarantee if I waited there I could meet with an associate that day. For a simple wire transfer.

I recently got married and needed to get my name changed on my account. Talked with the teller there today around 11:00 AM. He verified my info and said Everything looked good and they would be able to help me. I just needed to wait for a "BANKER" to do the name change. Well I sat for 45 minutes then some creepy guy walks up and asks me if I've been helped. Clearly I am sitting in the waiting area where I was told to wait and that I had been checked in, I replied "no i have not" and that I just needed to do my name change. He walks away and about 2 minutes later returns and says that he's they won't be able to help me until Tuesday. The (singular) BANKER is booked for today and that they don't have any time available until Tuesday. I ask him to see if he can call another B of A in the area. He cuts me off and starts telling me that they probably won't answer their phone...I looked at him thinking "great confidence in the customer service of your employer. I just shook my head and walked away. I got online and tried to a.) figure out where I could make a complaint about this umm guy and 2.) how would I go about making an appointment with a banker if no one answers their phone. Well I was in hold with customer service for B of A still when I drove up to the B of A at 23831 El Toro Rd Lake Forest Ca. This is the one next to the 5 freeway. Well I walk in and see a banker sitting at his desk without any customers. I walked over to him. He immediately asked me if he could help me. I explained the name change situation and long story short now, I was out of there in less than 5 minutes. He said that if one of the Tellers knows how to do the name change then they also can help. I didn't get this guys name or the other worthless one at the B of A by Grocery Outlet. I will be following up with the company as well. I've been a client of theirs for over 15 years. Even more when I told the helpful banker of the situation he knew which location I was talking about. I will fill in names when I get them. Customer service is key!! Especially in banking! I was almost going to close my account. After reading some other reviews... it was the guy speaking Farsi that was "too busy" to help me. And I believe the creepy guy in the suit might have actually been a supervisor. What a joke! The tellers I will say were good but they weren't busy at all (except for the Farsi speaking BANKER who was going on and on with this female customer somewhat inappropriately.

I have been banking with this location of B of A For several years now they're always super polite and accommodating! Peter helped me set up a joint savings with my fiancé today and was very personable and helpful and made us feel right at home and a part of the family with this branch of Bank of America! Thank you Peter!!

If I could go negative, I would! Believe me, don’t waste your time here, one of the worst customer services ever I’ve seen in my life. rudest BofA manager on this planet!!! I seriously suspect that this bank employee is racist and claims that he can't understand my English. Although I am of Asian descent,but I am also an American citizen. When I said I wanted to open an account, they kept asking me add or open.I said 3 times I want to open an account and deposite money. Their 1 stars review speaks for itself. This manager is not ready for the responsibilities placed upon them. Clearly, this was one of the most demeaning, condescending, and unprofessional interactions I have EVER had at a bank. Again, it is unprofessional, condescending, demeaning, and disrespectful. Then I went to another one mile away from here Mission Viejo. The manager there received me very patiently. I thought it would take another day to make an appointment, but with the help of the manager, He found David and completed the account opening that afternoon. Makes me very grateful.
