Tesla had her first visit with Dr. Barry today. She enjoyed being loved on and making friends with Dr. Barry and her staff, who were all very friendly, pleasant and welcoming. We felt we were in great hands from the moment we stepped in until we left. Dr. Barry’s passion for animals was evident while she interacted with Tesla. We also appreciated her transparency and how thorough she was in addressing any concerns during the examination. It was also very sweet for Tesla to be offered a toy to take home at the end of her visit. :) We love our new vet!

Throughout the years my family members have experienced different vet clinics but were never very happy. i adopted a senior cat that recently developed health issues and I was forced to find a vet. After a little research I came across Baker Ranch Animal Hospital and their approaches and views seemed to align with what I was looking for. I took my cat Doodle and I was greeted with the nicest front office staff and vet techs. We met Dr. Wilson and were immediately impressed by her professional and caring demeanor. We met Dr. Barry today and could not have been happier with her patience and professionalism. Doodle is being treated for an ear hematoma and things are going well. Love the vets, the staff and the entire office atmosphere. So happy we found this practice.

Friendly, professional, compassionate and caring… the entire staff and doctors at Baker Ranch are amazing. Their care for my kitten helped to get him through a life threatening condition and he is now on his way to recovery. They kept trying different solutions and even tried a “hail mary” that finally worked! Loki is better and better every day. Thank you all so much!!!

They communicate well with me. During my dog's teeth cleaning Dr. Barry called me to tell the bad news about my dog's teeth and informed me what needed to be done and how long it would take. Upon completion of the procedure she called me again to let me know that it had gone well and my pup (age 3) was recovering well. Her bedside manner during my dog's examination made me and my dog more comfortable.

I'm new to the area and I saw this place as the closest veterinarian facility by me so I called. This really nice person named Ali answered the phone and let me tell you, she was super patient and answered all the questions I had and did not make me feel bad even though I thought some questions could have been stupid. I'm usually worried about vet offices being "all about the money" but I asked if their location did cherry eye surgeries. She was very up front and told me I could come there for a consultation and they would refer me out to a specialist to get that done. I was so pleased with her honesty! She went over pricing for exams and vaccines and their prices are perfect for my budget.

We had an exam/consultation done less than 2 months ago and had an appointment set up to just give vaccines to our dog. They did not disclose to us that they were going to conduct or charge us for another exam when the appointment was made or when my wife checked in for the appointment. They didn't have a restroom on site, so as soon as my wife took my daughter to go use the restroom, they started doing an exam without her permission. They were late to see our dog, so it's incredibly shady that they suddenly had time to jump on the exam as soon as my wife and daughter had to step out for a second. To do anything with our dog without asking our explicit permission and not being transparent with their pricing is unacceptable. This hospital might think they're smart by pulling a fast one for $70 on us. Let this and many other reviews make this place regret resorting to such an unethical business model.

Great animal hospital. I'll be brief, because I am dealing with the grief of losing my precious Buddy dog. I called them and got an appointment immediately. My poor dog was so sick. They showed so much compassion and we're very fair with all costs. They threw in some freebies to make it bearable for me as well. I definitely recommend. Here is Beautiful Buddy.

Recently moved into the area, looking for a new vet especially since my dog was experiencing diarrhea and vomiting. While making the appointment, Sam was very nice and helpful and even got us an appointment the same day. The office was very welcoming and made sure my dog was comfortable. The staff were amazing and very helpful and not pushy at all. The pricing was great too, compared to other vets in the area. We are very happy we found this place!

The BEST vet in OC! Dr. Barry is an amazing and most caring and compassionate doctor our family could ask for! We have been with Dr. Barry for over 10 years. We followed her from Bandfield to now her own practice at Baker Ranch Animal Hospital, because she is a gem. Dr. Barry always called us when she said she would to review labs (even late into the evening) or just return calls/questions. Dr. Barry and her wonderful staff took amazing care of my fur baby! Two months ago Roxy was diagnosed with lymphoma and Dr. Barry was there with us every step of the way. She called me and my mother separately to explain Roxy's diagnosis, treatment options, and prognosis. She spent so much time with our family and we never felt rushed or pressured into any decision. Dr. Barry was so supportive even up until the day Roxy was ready to go to doggy heaven. Dr. Barry and Jill made a special trip to our home to help send Roxy away peacefully. Dr. Barry was patient and explained everything to us before each step to alleviate worries and anxiety. Our family is so grateful for her. We cannot thank you enough, Dr. Barry! If you're looking for a team of pet lovers and compassionate people, I highly recommend this clinic! You won't find anything better. We live 30 minutes away but it was worth the drive every time. I don't think I'm ready for another fur baby anytime soon, so I'll share Dr. Barry and her lovely staff with you!

Baker Ranch Animal Hospital has truly proven to be an exceptional veterinary clinic. Their level of care and compassion is second to none. When it was time for my beloved dog Packie to be put to sleep, the staff showed immense empathy and kindness, which meant the world to me during such a difficult time. I am eternally grateful for the exceptional care and support they provided throughout our journey. Baker Ranch Animal Hospital is, without a doubt, an outstanding choice for any pet owner seeking top-notch veterinary care.

Awful just an awful experience. My dog has been receiving cytopoint injections for 5 years now. He has consistently needed them every 7 weeks. We got his latest shot here and it only lasted a month. I called to tell them that I needed an appointment for him to get a steroid and cytopoint shot and to discuss options since he seems to be building a tolerance to the shot. They made an appointment for me and when I get there they said they can only do the cytopoint because it’s a tech visit and not a doctor visit. Whoever scheduled my appointment didn’t make it for a doctor visit and now they are trying to tell me it’s my fault. My poor dog it bleeding from scratching and biting so much and they told me I could put a cone on him or they could book and emergency appointment since they were fully booked. Taking my business elsewhere.
