Wow I definitely will/should have a “better” review at a later time when I’ve processed how I was treated this am. However for now, I am a stay at home mom ( older) and I went in so so exited to get my growth ( yes it was like 4 in. ) lightened up , whatever it would take to really get rid of my light “greyness”and feel pretty. (That’s what we all want going into a “salon”. I was not worried about damaging my hair/growth as I have been doing, kinda forced to do since covid. Many of us have had to. ultimately she would not “touch it”.
Not much else to say today……. Very extremely disappointed as I love to support local businesses in my neighbourhood! that’s why I went back to her, as she was the last professional to touch my extremely long hair before covid hit and I had to take matters into my own hand. she just doesn’t remember me I suppose ??♀️so that made it even more hurtful to me as she was making lots of excuses to try to be polite as she said”I’m not comfortable touching anything that you’ve done”. ( again Covid and I was my own hair advocate). forgive me but I thought I was doing a solid for my hair trying to transition back to a “professional “doing it. ( sarcasm)so maybe for baisic things she can handle it however she may not be so willing to do tougher hair styling and cuts seems to be what she was pushing. And for that my advice so would be …. Do it yourself or find a barber really anywhere else around here.
Hope this help a woman/person who is looking for a nice “salon beautician “ experience,as this is not the place for us!?oh and I’m gonna still be looking in Lakeland village for this if anyone has any ideas thanks! Lol

Linda was fantastic! I knew I needed a trim before I had some modeling photos done and I needed help deciding what to do with my hair- she pulled up a chair and went through some pictures and discussed everything with me before starting the cut and confirmed everything as she went so she knew I was liking the look. Then she styled my hair and set it so it would keep till the next day and it turned out amazing!! I loved the look and loved not having to worry about part of getting ready the next morning too ?

Can't believe it took me 9 years to make my way to the Hair Depot on Grand and Adelfa. But after meeting the owner walking about the hood I finally went and I got an awesome haircut for a great price from someone who understands and knows how to cut curly hair. If you hair needs some spring trimming call Linda.

Don't let those trollers discourage you from coming to get your hair needs here to Hair Depot. My family and I have known Linda for little over 2 years, she is great and knows her stuff. In regards to the review about being racist makes no sense at all, the place is very small so as soon as you open the door you are in, that story does not make sense whatsoever. In regards about being open while the shut down was happening, I don't think so, I go every 3 weeks religiously to get my hair done, well guess what, i was not able to go in for quite a few weeks because of the shut down. Definitely ignore those bad reviews, like i said I have known Linda for quite some time and she is very nice, while you are there you could also get your whisky fix (her cute puppy )

This place has continued to stay open during the pandemic. I've reported it to the board of cosmetology. The owner does not give a crap about contributing to the spread of the virus.

Pleasantly surprised that I found a great place and friendly person in Linda to cut my hair. Great location and very attentive on how you want your hair. Hair depot is a great place to go! Sending all my friends there! ***** 5 stars!
