T-Mobile was amazing in so many ways. I have been a Verizon consumer for 28 years and they exceeded my expectations. They were friendly, professional and beyond helpful. I think I went in 4 times and they were more than willing to help me each time. Jonathan was as amazing and so was the manager. Juan even helped us out too! So far I am beyond happy I switched!!

We make the further drive to go to the lake Elsinore Costco rather than the closer one to us because this one has better parking and isn't as crowded.

First time in 20 years of shopping at Costco weekly that I experienced rude customer service. Devin at the self checkout scanning large items forgot my two largest items. So I asked him to scan them and he said he's too busy. Then realized I was the only one with big items in self checkout so he walked away instead of helping me. Sara the lady in the red vest was just as rude. I hope Costco doesn't start going down hill.

Much better than any other Costco area. I buy items there all the time in-and-out in 20 minutes. Great deli sandwich platters. New items and some regulars lower $$

Always the best deal on pizzas. Fun fact- an 18 inch pizza has more pizza then two 12 inch pizzas!

Good day to shop. Not too busy and the return line was very short. Picked up some S'mores Cookies, Yummy!! Seems like I'm always shopping for friends and family. My friend is looking for a new stand up fan. The Shark Fan caught me by its ice cold wind blowing my way. Which wasn't hard because it was so hot in the store today, outside was cooler. I snapped a picture and sent it to my friend. Then my sharp eyes spotted the knives. My aunt asked about my Damascus Nakiri knife and was interested in getting one. I don't think she wanted to spend $75.00 or more for a knife. (We don't mind spending when it comes to a great knife) Costco has these Schmidt Brothers Set. Schmidt is a good company. We have the Schmidt Brothers beautiful knife holder in our kitchen. I'll send her a picture.
In my post about Corona Costco. I had purchased one of Costco's brand new banana cream pies. Well needless to say it was absolutely horrible. Elsinore Costco returned the $15.99 with no problem, but what about my family's pain and suffering. We were all looking for a delicious pie ?.
Went to Costco Elsinore after going to my Corona Costco they were out of stock for this freezer for $349.00. For a Friday @ 4:00 it was pretty empty even at the Gas station. It might be because it's 98 degrees outside and almost the same inside of Elsinore Costco was almost as hot. As always friendly staff. My Corona wasn't that hot, but got to go where the merchandise is.

I went to get groceries as usual and checked out with Louis O. Yes, that is in fact his real name. Louis was very jovial, conversational, and helpful with the lady right before me – let's call her Betty – even as Louis corrected Betty for not placing her goods on the conveyor belt. How incredibly kind; such a trooper! As she left, I stepped up to the register and Louis' entire demeanor changed. Gone was the jolly smile and helpful character I had known and loved for all of 5 minutes. All that was left was a pursed smile that didn't quite reach his eyes and curt greetings and responses. You had to be there to see how tragic he looked in comparison. Really Louis, blink twice if you feel you're in danger. He not only scanned my membership card (I know that's standard, no complaints about that) but held on to it –something he didn't do with Betty.
For context before I continue my tirade, my partner and I (both of whom are members) use specific cards for certain purchases for cash back advantages, and it's not uncommon for us to use each other's cards without the other present. In fact we've both done that before, right in this very Costco. Because let's be honest, in this economy it's grossly unsexy not to be smart with finances.
Back to my rant: before I could tap to pay, good ol' Louis asked to see the credit card I was paying with to see if it matched my membership card. Well it doesn't, because it belongs to my partner who is also a member. "Unfortunately", Louis says, deadpan, "you cannot use that card." Fine then, I'll pay with a different card that doesn't give me cash back and I lose out on like $15. Sure. Big whoop. It's not worth $15 to hold up the ever lengthening checkout line during peak hours.
What really grinds my gears is the blatant racism. C'mon, Louis. It's 2024. If you're gonna preemptively single me out at least make that fake smile a twinge more convincing. Where's your customer service act that you performed so well with Betty? Nowhere to be found within 4 feet of me, apparently. I know the "inland empire" is a mixed bag of red and blue, but at least make an effort to cover up your ugly, Louis. After all, racism is still very much frowned upon.
And before you, dear reader, can say, "well you should've gone to management."
I did.
As did my partner (who is white, you'd think they'd listen to him). He has called, was put on hold for an eternity and a half, only to be told to send an email. Which he did, and it was just as detailed and only a little less colorful than this review. And for all an executive membership will get you at Costco, a humane response or any response at all really, is not something you can avail at this location.
Well, I refuse to be silenced.
For Costco's inaction, I am punishing this specific location with this measly review. Behold! My figurative pen!
I am livid that despite being an educated, contributing member of society I am still judged and discriminated against based on how I look. It's not a good look on anyone, Louis, least of all you. You and I are the 99%. We're supposed to be on the same side. Don't you realize you will never be rich? But I'll take the high road and will share with you the grace you are clearly lacking – enough to forgive you – because it's not your fault to have been so thoroughly brainwashed by the gilded words of the 1%.
The only thing I regret is not being able to find your surname, Louis O. What's the O for? Offensive? Oppressive? Obtuse? Ordurous??
I hope I have made this review entertaining enough for the average google review peruser to read all the way through. Thank you for your time, reader.
TLDR, Louis O., a cashier at this locatio
