Both my girls graduated from Harmon Oaks after each having attended the full 4 years. We could not have asked for a better preschool expereince. Not only were my girls extremely well prepared for kindergarten, they approach learning with such enthusiasm. They are kind and empathetic little people and going to Harmon Oaks had a trememdous positive impact on their development. We were so sad to leave, my youngest asked just today to write a letter to her last teacher which is why I was reminded to write this review. Harmon Oaks will always have a special place in our hearts.

Awesome nursery school focusing on STEM with great teachers! My daughter loves it here and is excited to have her brother join soon.

Let me just say this place is a UNICORN and if you can get your child into this school you absolutely must. My son went to Harmon Oaks for 2 years. It was his first schooling experience starting at 2.5yo - he had previously been at home with an au pair. I am a research junkie and when I found this school I knew. The teachers are doing this because it's their life's passion and they love the kids and the work. It's very obvious they love it. They teach to inspire curiosity and they put so much time, thought, and effort into the curriculum. The kids are truly learning about the world here. We had to move from LA for my husband's job and if I could bottle one thing up and take it with us it would have been this school. My son is doing great at his new school, but there will never be another school like Harmon Oaks. I know that. I wish my youngest had the opportunity. Here are some other things I loved:* the true diversity of staff and students/families* the constant change of setup to inspire the kids based on what they are teaching* the help with potty training!* the process they use to resolve conflict or when the kids are upset* great hoursSeriously all the love to this school. I'll be cross posting on Google. Also, it's worth the process for the waitlist. I promise.

I did a virtual open house back in May and submitted the $70 application fee because I was impressed with the learning environment, teachers, location, etc. BUT I am incredibly disappointed in Ms. Mariya. She sent me an email on June 2nd letting me know there was a seat open in NoHo and/or second in line for a seat in LB. I sent her an email the same day inuring about next steps, sent another email a couple days later, called the next, last email I sent was on June 8th and a final call on June 9th. My husband called and emailed and called as well and got zero response. Considering we live walking distance from the LB location, I drive by everyday and see cars in their driveway, it's infuriating to be told there was a seat available to taking my $70 application fee to be completely ignored. Very unprofessional. At a minimum, Ms. Mariya needs to refund me my application fee. Incredibly disappointed.
