Pricey, friendly people, I wished I would of put wood shutters everywhere in the house rather than wood blinds, costs a lot for a battery to be changed out on the solar blind, I had a handyman do it for 1/3 of the cost.

We wanted to match existing flooring and we're having trouble finding it. Arrowhead Floor and Window not only found the exact flooring but installed it seamlessly throughout the house. Beautiful job and done quickly! I highly recommend them!

This business is family owned by a very nice couple who took over last summer. We picked out window coverings, however, they never followed up with a quote. We called multiple times, but no return call. We went back into the store multiple times. Each time they were apologetic and promised they would get back to us, but still never provided a quote. This store has good product with a broad assortment of options. We really wanted to support a local family owned business. But, they could not have tried harder to send out business elsewhere. I wish the best of success to this family business, but cannot recommend them as I wouldn't want anyone to have to deal with this amount of frustration.

Not very helpful, and would not even recommend a Hunter Douglas installer in the area. Don't waste your time.

When we purchased our remote (battery operated) blinds, John told us just give us a call and we'll replace the batteries for you!! Great! So, after 3 years the batteries needed to replaced, ....we called them, told us it would be $125! What? Thought it needed a special tool so scheduled an appt. Their guy comes out, while he's there I ask him, does this require a special tool? He says no, typically customers with windows high up/un reachable need us, you can replace the batteries on your own. So while he's there we have him replace the batteries in the other blinds so we don't get charged for another trip.....nope, they sent us a revised invoice for $155! When I called for the batteries to be replaced she asked do your windows require a ladder? We told her no, they are reachable. Why then didn't they offer instruction on how to replace the batteries ourselves?Unfortunately, they lost any future business from us and we will not reccomend them to anyone.

We have been customers of John and Debbie for many years and we would not go anyplace else. They have done all of our window blinds and flooring including a brand new wood floor that was just installed in our Lake Arrowhead home. As usual, outstanding customer service, quick turnaround, & competitive pricing. We could not be more pleased!

Their advertising should read BUYERS BEWARE!!!!John came and done an estimate and then we hired him for the job after going over a few concerns with our remodel he a sure us that he could do the work. At the time of installation began we needed some grinding work done on our flooring to level it out the people he hires made it worse they did no prep work dust went through out my house leaving us with a bigger clean up to do the floors have a big hump in them and if you're down stairs you know hear every footstep upstairs it's awful. When I question the gentleman putting in my flooring when he would do this to my top step I got this is how I do even though we talked to John about it. The installment guy covered my perfectly good wood on my step going up to the bull nose of the floor. I went into the store voicing my concerns and the 2 gals told me they would have John contact me and it's been over a week and I still haven't heard from him. the installer didn't put my doors back up or cleaned up the floors after they were done.. SO BUYERS BEWARE!!!!!

Horrible customer service. John came to my house to do an estimate and wasted my time. They never called or emailed back and I never got my estimate. I called spoke to John, to make sure he had the correct email address. I called numerous times to ask what's going on but no real communication, no return phone calls. It's been over three weeks. A complete waste of time. I'm heading over to the Carpet Station! I don't even want to give them one star but I don't see an option for less.

Going through a huge remodel is always a challenge but working with John, Debbie, and Colleen was really a rewarding experience. John and his staff have really helped make my house exactly what I was envisioning and their enthusiasm for my project was much appreciated. John's shop is smaller in scale but it is packed with not only some of the best quality products but some of the newest and most innovative products on the market. His collection of custom sized rugs and natural fiber carpets rival any of the showrooms that I visited in Orange County. I wanted a rustic, wide plank wood floor and had searched at least 30 hardwood flooring stores until I finally found the flooring I wanted. I made many calls and scoured the internet for the best price. My general contractor suggested that I talk to John before purchasing from another showroom or internet flooring company. John did not carry this particular line of wire-brushed, UV oil finished hardwood flooring but ordered an entire case so that he could inspect it and make sure it was a quality flooring with a substantial wear layer. John was able to almost beat the lowest internet competitor's price and I was more than happy to purchase the wood flooring from him as shipping to the mountain and delivery is ALWAYS a nightmare when you order online or off the mountain. Letting John handle the logistics made the entire process extremely simple. He took care of unloading and delivery and had the product delivered two weeks early to make sure that it would have time to acclimate before being installed. His installers did a really beautiful job with the installation as well. Having such a good experience with the hardwood flooring, I decided to ask John about window coverings. The type of solid panel shutters that I was wanting were not something that he advertised as having available and prior to seeking John's advice, I had two companies come out and give me estimates. The job was difficult and even after being assured that they could make the shutters both companies kept pushing off the order and suggested that I look elsewhere. I mentioned to John what I was looking for and he said that he "absolutely had a contact that could make them." I honestly was skeptical, but he was true to his word. John and his shutter fabricator came and took meticulous measurements. Their attention to detail is something that impressed me and the detailed and time consuming measurements that they took resulted in a far superior product than I could have gotten from any other shop. Other companies that came to take measurements were finished in less than 2 hours where John and his crew spent an entire half-day making sure they had the perfect size and layout for each window and had thought through all the various options to make sure that each window looked it's very best. Within one week John had a "mock" shutter to test just to make sure it was correct and that we could visualize the best mounting method for a clean and professional look before producing the entire order. Mike, his shutter manufacturer, was also a true craftsman. He offered to work up two sample boards with a distressed paint finish so that I could compare it to a "new" paint finish. I provided him with the colors and had them use a dark charcoal base coat with a lighter beige top coat and then do a minimal sand/rub through. This is a time consuming process and the results were better than I could even imagine. More surprising is that Mike said that priming with a color would not be that much more trouble and while the sand through and distressing would add time to the project he was happy to do it for my business and custom projects are something he enjoys! If you have ever priced having a distressed painted finish it normally adds a MINIMUM of 20% to 30% to the entire job and you often run the risk it will look intentional and not resemble a finish that is truly distressed by actual age. Mike did a fantastic job on the
