What a great tennis shop! I went there to have an old racquet restrung, first calling to see if they could do it while I waited. They asked me how I wanted it strung, and I asked for some guidance. Their recommendations were spot-on, and they had it done within the hour. They even put a decal on the frame with the string and tension specs. Excellent and friendly service. I plan to go back for a second racquet, and a proper fitting. I'm looking forward to a long relationship with South County Tennis.

Great customer support. Tyler is very precise and knowledgeable. He balanced my Babolat Pure Drive racquets to feel “identical” (he has the necessary equipment to “balance” racquets to meet customer requirements). ??

Discovered this shop a couple of years ago and they are the best most consistent stringers around! Super selection of strings and racquets, and they can usually restring in under a day. Very fair prices and always friendly service - Tyler and the team are the best!

Tyler is the best! This business is totally deserving of five stars and your business. Tyler restrung two of my racquets and replaced the grips. Tyler was knowledgeable and explained my options and didn't try to upsell me at all. The racquets were ready to go the next day. I totally understand why he gets such great reviews. I am a customer for life. Check this place out. You will not be disappointed.

Went shopping for a new racket after being out of the game for 20 years. Walked in to support local shop and did NOT expect the racket I wanted to be significantly cheaper than ALL online stores! They even threw in free strings/stringing? Super friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. 100% a customer for life now.

The most amazing tennis shop. Tyler is such an awesome guy to work with, and you just know he is doing this as a passion. It does feel like you're working with a friend. My daughter just made JV and Tyler helped find a racket through the demo process, and helped choose a string and taking care of grip issues, all for a great price! My daughter loves her racket and it definitely helped her play her best tennis, which is all one can ask for.SC County Tennis is just a terrific local business that will be getting my support for all my tennis needs. I cannot speak more highly of this business. So glad we have this tennis shop in South County!

Followed Tyler from Irvine Tennis to his own shop. He's been giving me great advice for gear and tennis for years. He's very knowledgeable and great with people. If you have any questions on gear, classes, coaching, etc. he's got the information to help you out. Aside from the knowledge that the staff has, Tyler has all of the latest gear for tennis and pickleball. Due to inventory he has on hand, my group of friends have come here for demos on racquets when they want to evolve their game or replace an old racquet. Tyler and staff will help you pick out a new racquet and strings based on your current game and feedback (how to change your game or playstyle or diff strings to ease some pain during your swing). Biggest take away from this location is the interaction you'll have with Tyler and his staff. Everyone is very friendly and that interaction is what keeps me coming here and recommending this store to everyone in the Irvine WTT league.

I’ve been playing tennis for 14 years and this by far has been the best store I have been too. Tyler provided excellent customer service in person and over the phone. He had great communication about when my racket would be complete and when I came to pick it up he made some good recommendations on equipment to try and even hooked me up with some testers. Overall definitely impressed with this place and I can see myself making the long drive back.

I recently decided to get back into tennis after more than a decade (maybe 2?) away from the sport. I figured an equipment refresh was in order and stopped in to South County Tennis. Practically before I finished telling Tyler what I was looking for he handed me a couple of demo racquets he wanted me to try without me even asking about it. He was genuinely interested in me making an informed choice rather than just selling me something. After discussing some feedback and trying another demo racquet, I felt great about making the purchase. The knowledge of the people in the shop was impressive as was the level of service. Overall a great experience at South County Tennis and I look forward to returning in the future for restringing and other equipment needs.
