“One of the best places for knowledgeable advice for home brewing and supplies. Great selection of in-stock kegs and you can special order hard to find kegs.. They also have a very good selection of bottled and canned beer.”

“Once again I am very impressed and overwhelmed with the kindness and community ambience in the market The highlight of the week for me was to pick up a delicious deli sandwich tonight after work. I arrived a little before 5 to find myself out of luck. The deli had just closed for the night Obviously i was disappointed however fully understood- my error Sensing my disappointment the kind owner Ben immediately gave me a big smile, his time and best service Asking if I'd mind waiting for him to wrap up with other customers he kindly made the sandwich! What a kind and generous gesture and one that will be remembered and praised to others Who does this these days of corporate lack of customer care? Plus the sandwiches are outstanding!!”

“Had to get transfer of title done during this pandemic lock down. The DMV and AAA were closed. Not the friendliest of people but that may have to do with heightened awareness of the current environment. Anyhow, he was helpful and did the transfer of title. It was efficient but wasn't clear on all the fees. Anyhow can't be too picky during this time.”

“Always enjoy going to the wine club. Our last visit was for a champagne tasting of mostly smaller vineyards. There was over 30 champagnes. Although we didn't try all of them, the ones we did were very enjoyable and it's always fun to experience new wines from off the beaten path. Everyone at the wine club is always welcoming and a wealth of knowledge with not just wine but spirits as they have continued to grow their list of spirits including mezcal with some new interesting additions.. one of the other great features of the wine club are the lockers. They have an entire area for storage that is temperature controlled that you can rent out to store your wines. Out of sight out of mind for the most part. It's always a pleasant surprise when we open the locker and see something that we haven't seen for a while.”

“My favorite local liquor store! Alex and his family are the best. They're so friendly and I always look forward to talking to them when I'm there. I usually leave with a smile because they're also hilarious. Incredible selection of beer, wine and liquor (and they carry my favorite beef jerky++) and if they don't have something you want, you can usually request it and they'll stock it. They're always happy to make recommendations too. Good people!”

“Great service! We were throwing a 60s party and wanted to serve Pabst Blue Ribbon and Hamms Beers. Called ahead and they not only confirmed they sold these hard-to-find brews, but remembered my call when I arrived the next day to pick up. Great selection, reasonable prices and nice people!”
“There is finally a fast and convenient option in the Serrano/Trabuco neighborhood. This neighborhood liquor store has been curiously dormant for well over a year which makes little sense as the closet form of competition is the Chevron across the street which only sells fizzy yellow domestic Beer and a handful of Craft, notably Stone and Ballast Point. The closest apples to apples competition would be Ralph's which is 2 miles to the south.The interior got a refresh and everything is sparkling and brand new. Glass cased refrigerators line the perimeter loaded with Soda, Craft Beer, Domestic & Importer Beers, sparkling Wine, Champagne, ad well as some basic grocery items and freezer goods. They also offer tobacco products and lottery. The isles are loaded with dry goods and a massive selection of spirits.The register attendant seemed friendly enough and the lines moved expeditiously although they do not tag the items with prices - or at very least haven't yet - which usually means you can expect a healthy convenience mark up. More options are always appreciated. Hopefully Lake Forest Liquor is thrives for years to come. Cheers.”
“Spectrum Wine to the rescue!!! I contacted Spectrum this morning because our wine cellar cooling unit is failing and needs to replaced which will take a few weeks. In the meantime, we needed to move our wine somewhere safe, fast, before we leave on a long trip in a few days. I found Spectrum through an online search, and one short phone call later Trish confirmed a same-day appointment to have our wine packed up, transported, and stored until our cellar is functioning again. They provided all of the boxes and packing materials, and were in and out with our 250 bottles within an hour. Trish kept us updated throughout the process, and we feel comfortable knowing our collection is safe for as long as we need it stored. Simply amazing customer service--thank you, Spectrum!”

“I like to think Chris in the meat department, along with the staff in the meat department for the excellent work they do. So extremely helpful, Chris took the time to cut the piece of meat that I wanted and it was perfect. I would suggest Stater brother's meat market over any of the top tier markets because the quality of meat they have is just beyond amazing. Every cut of steak we purchased tasted great, and the staff is so helpful. Everybody behind the glass will take the time to explain every cut to you and how to make it perfect. I am so thankful I found this place and I always tell my friends and family to go there to buy steak”
