Efren helped me transform my new coastal beach house from an older, empty space into a warm and relaxing holiday oasis. We always look forward to seeing our new home, and we are extremely grateful for his help. After speaking to Ephren about my budget and vision, he curated unique pieces that fit our space and brought new life into it. He custom purchased furniture to match our taste at an extremely efficient rate, and he made sure each item was affordable and durable. The entire process was accessible and easy to go through for a person like me, who has no interior design experience, and I cannot recommend his services enough!

Been very disappointed on the promises made on lead time for the furnishings through the designer that worked with me. I was told that the delivery lead time is 2-3 weeks It's been now 6 weeks Also they can't seem to get a delivery scheduled due to what ever reason that doesn't make sense as they only do deliveries on the weekends???? I hope that whenever i get my delivery, the the quality was worth waiting for Let's hope so

We came in and spoke to Efren over a month ago. We told him we wanted to order four pillows and a round coffee table from Universal furniture. He told me he would place the order for the fabric for the pillows and it would take 2 weeks. He also assured me that he had contacted the universal furniture rep to order the table. Since that time I have called over six times to check the status of the pillows and the table. Every time he gives me the runaround about the rep not giving him a call back and that he would call me back, which he never did. On the last call today he stated that he ordered the fabric two weeks ago. However, it was clear he never ordered the fabric. It is clear he does not care about customers who spend a little money and not huge design projects.

Prices can't be beat! Each time I come in, I find unique pieces that work well with my aesthetic. They have everything from rugs to lighting fixtures, and everything in between. I feel like a kid at a candy store.

EFREN the Magician, is not only the owner of this beautiful store...Efren is the genius behind some of the finest homes designs in Orange County. Efren has helped my wife and I. We bought furniture from Efren and he designed our home in Irvine. Design Studio is so easy to get to, right off the 5 freeway and El Toro Exit. The store is over 8,000 SQFT and wall to wall filled with the finest quality of furniture, decoration and so much more. That is really just a small part of this store. The real gift is once you get to meet the staff and Efren the owner, they will take very good care of you and get you exactly what you need for you home. Sometimes in life we get to meet people that are the real deal and at the top of their game, this is it. Efren is the real deal and he is the man of his craft. A real Magician of design.

Efren is the best! He worked with us on every detail of a very large custom sofa, a centerpiece of our family room in our newly remodeled home. A unique piece that he had brought to several manufacturers on our behalf until he found the one that he knew would be able to deliver on our specific requests in a reasonable timeline. Beyond just the professionalism and his expert eye, from the very beginning it felt like we were dealing with an old friend. We will be coming to him first as we put some finishing touches on furnishing the rest of our home. Thanks for all the hard work, communication, and follow through, we could not be more happy with the process as well as the end result!

The best place to shop with good selections of furnitures and accessories. Their interior designer Efren, was very accommodating and knowledgable in helping us with our living room and the end result was beautiful. For sure we will come back again on our next project.

I recently relocated and bought a house in Laguna Niguel. My excitement to furnish and decorate the house was matched by Efren, the owner/ designer of Design Studio staging. First of all, I was impressed with his showroom in Laguna Hills, it housed so many furnitures/ accessories from different vendors. He can envision what to place in each room of the house after getting to know you. After everything went into place, the house felt so homey and comfortable not to mention beautiful. The only frustrating thing is the current situation. With the health crisis, some things took awhile to get delivered. But all of the delay is worth it in the end. I highly recommend visiting the store, his furnitures/fixtures are amazing!

This store is awesome and Efran and Jeanette were so helpful. His advice and design ideas were spot on. He can get the same quality furniture that other stores can for a lot lower price. I would recommend this furniture store to anyone looking for just one piece or an entire house.
