“Great great sandwiches to take to the beach! Their meats looked wonderful and all of their accoutrements, sides, etc. looked amazing. This could be your go to spot for all the makings for your weekly dinners.”
“Hubby & I are KBBQ lovers ! We love it & sometimes we mix it up & cook at home - thinking we are saving money when in reality it costs about the same or if not more, since my husband eats a lot. H Mart was completely cleaned out of beef brisket for NYE. What to do ?? That's right, I remembered Prime Meat Market, a hole in the wall meat shop specializing in Korean meats! If you know, you know! Lucky me, they were open when I arrived. I was hoping to pick up fresh, not frozen meat. I wanted to get a variety, tongue, belly & brisket. I get in & asked the lady but she told me there was only frozen brisket available. Priced at $60, it was plenty of meat for 2 of us. I was a bit disappointed though - for that type of money I would expect better marbling in the meat. I bought the pack anyway & complimentary, you get stinky radish + your choice of white or green onion + sauce. Great ! The meat was alright - definitely not as tasty as the meat I get at H Mart. I would love to try this place again, but hopefully when I go there will be more options available & not just frozen brisket :(.”
“The Carniceria Zaragoza's is a convenient and time-saving option for those who appreciate good quality, tasty Mexican cuisine without the long hours of preparation. One of the highlights of this product is its ready to eat feature. You have a well-prepared, savory carnitas entree ready to serve. This feature is perfect for those busy weekday dinners when you need a quick yet satisfying meal, or even for those spontaneous weekend get-togethers. The carnitas has the right balance of quantity and quality. The succulent, well-seasoned pork can be added to several different dishes, offering a flavorful protein addition to tacos, burritos, salads, or rice bowls. You can get creative with it and serve a gourmet Mexican spread right at home. It's also great for hosting, as its quick and easy preparation, combined with its crowd-pleasing flavor, makes it an ideal choice for gatherings with friends. Overall, the Carnitas is very very good. Would definitely go back and try the other meats.”
“This store is the better stater bros location. The store remains clean and organized. I am always impressed at the level of service and variety at this store.
I also want to recognize Emily (I think that’s her name) who assisted me after I was waiting at the deli counter for several minutes with no help. She quickly assisted in getting my fried chicken. I thoroughly appreciate her helping me versus walking off and finding someone else to help me.”

6280 Scholarship, Irvine“It's the one and only place I shop meat for.Their meat quality is incredibly superb, and they have so many different Korean-style cuts to choose from. This is their second location in OC, and I like it very much because it's near me!And on top of all this, they provide great services and are very accommodating to what I need.”
“Decent prices. & Unlike every Walmart staters has electric carts like at least 6! If a Walmart has any only ever have 1! If it's not broken or some entitled fat person using cause god forbid excersize. I use them due to being disabled. Not fat!”
“I recently visited the Stater Bros. market in Lake Forest, and I was thoroughly impressed by their exceptional selection and presentation. The fresh meats section was particularly outstanding, offering a wide variety of cuts that are perfect for any cooking needs. The meat is always fresh and well-priced, making it my go-to spot for all my grilling essentials.
Additionally, the store itself is a delight to shop in. The aisles are beautifully arranged and impeccably clean, creating a welcoming shopping environment. The staff is friendly and helpful, always ready to assist and answer any questions.
Overall, Stater Bros. in Lake Forest is a fantastic grocery store that combines quality, variety, and excellent customer service. Highly recommended for anyone looking for top-notch groceries in a pleasant setting.”
“I went a few times during the weekend to buy pan dulce which was decent, and this morning (Tuesday) I went before 8am and was shocked at how crowded it was. I initially was going for their tamales which I've tried before and they were dry and "just ok," enough to satisfy my craving but after seeing everyone in line for the hot food I stood in line as well. They sell tortas with frijoles (beans) with your choice of meat (carne asada, chorizo, chicharrón rojo and verde) i ordered the chicharrón rojo and OMG!! Delicious! I had the guy add salsa and jalapeños which was a mistake because the chicharrón rojo already has a nice kick to it so after my first bite I took out the jalapeños. The few times I went I didn't notice the hot food so not sure if it only sells during certain times. It gets packed in the mornings with people heading to work and the line can get long, I waited about 10 minutes not bad. With my torta and can soda it was $5.77! *Update* tortas sell in the morning until 8amThe reason for my 4 stars instead of 5 is because I saw the produce section and it was a bit gross, the carrots and lettuce looked old. I will be going back only because the convenient location and for their tortas!”
“Best marinated chicken on the planet. The Salsa El Rey is the best salsa I have ever had. Friendly people and great prices. We are new to the area so glad we found this place.”
“Discovered this market a few weeks ago and was surprised by the quality of the carniceria (deli) items and pre made salsas. My go to market now for common everyday Mexican ingredients! Don't forget to visit the panaderia (bakery) next door!”
“Just want to say that I come to this restaurant once a week. When I want to eat Mexican food this is the spot. They are really nice and the food is amazing! Very authentic and reasonable prices.”
“It was 930pm on a Tuesday, I needed 2 m-cap allen bolts & washers to fix a loose fairing on my Ducati. Both Home D & Low** did not have the sizes I needed. So I took a chance with this grocery/hardware store in Santa Ana.Pulled up right before they closed, and asked Sec Guard if they had these (pic of bolts needed). He pointed to this nice lady who walked me to isle with bolts. Wow, at least a 10x larger selection of fastners than HD & L's. She stayed with me and we must have looked in 50 drawers together, and she helped me find every bolt, washer and nut I needed! And the prices were less too. Sounds crazy but felt like i was in a store from the past. I would have given 6 stars if possible.”
“I like to think Chris in the meat department, along with the staff in the meat department for the excellent work they do. So extremely helpful, Chris took the time to cut the piece of meat that I wanted and it was perfect. I would suggest Stater brother's meat market over any of the top tier markets because the quality of meat they have is just beyond amazing. Every cut of steak we purchased tasted great, and the staff is so helpful. Everybody behind the glass will take the time to explain every cut to you and how to make it perfect. I am so thankful I found this place and I always tell my friends and family to go there to buy steak”
