I joined lifetime Laguna niguel at the beginning of 2019 and recommended it to many people. Even during the covid when many people were reluctant to go, I never stopped. Because my work location changed, I joined Equinox in early 2022. After comparison, I found 1 .At lifetime the courses instructor can get more classs by have relationship with the manager, so some very good coaches have to be scheduled for some bad times because they do not have such a friendly relationship with the manager, which leads to their The course has been bad! 2. the prices of these two clubs are similar, but whether it is the cleaning after each class, the cleanliness of the yoga mats, or the hygiene of the bathroom, lifetime is much dirtier than Equinox and it can be said that there is basically no one to clean it! So a year later, when lifetime notified rise price again (yes, they kept raising prices, it didn’t matter how long you were a member or the service, they just kept raising prices), I finally made up my mind to stop their service. , and will never go back, and as far as I know, many members have left...

Love the club- the spa at this location is an absolute disgrace!!! It is really unfortunate as it significantly brings the whole experience down. 2 appointments made for hair booked and both cancelled the day before the appointment despite the fact that I stopped by in person to confirm the stylists could do my hair and 5 phone calls from the club during the week confirming on their end. Horrific customer service. Too bad - go to another spa or use the Irvine location!!!! They are less then professional and need training.

Tracy the Queen of Massage at Lifetime Laguna Niguel has been a God Send for me as she has experience great technique & knowledge. I play on a Senior Volleyball Team traveling all over the UNITED states and when I get back from tournaments I can ALWAYS count on Tracy to help me in the recovery process. She is an outstanding asset to the Spa & the reason many Personal Trainers utilize her talents.Reed Noble 5 yr Lifetime Member

Lifetime has a spa!!! You should go, and if you’re going to the spa, book with Tracy! She is outstanding and is an exceptional massage therapist. She has an amazing understanding of the body and anatomy. She is truly a healer!!

It’s an ok club - nice to be able to use other clubs out of state depending upon the level of membership. It’s gets crowded after work hours and ppl still have bags on the floor even after we all got that email said it’s not allowedAnnnnd those people next to you working out… they probably don’t wash their hands. So many times I notice ppl jet out the bathroom onto the floor wo washing. Gross but I guess that’s the areas vibe

I cannot believe that people gave this location low reviews! My experience was absolutely phenomenal! The stuff was so professional and friendly. Very clean facility. I highly recommend to anyone who wants a clean and high class gym with no hidden fees or any false marketing like other gyms! It’s totally worth it!

I have been a member since 2006, starting out at the Laguna Niguel Club. Several months ago, I switched my home club to the San Clemente club. My membership fee went up, but I was allowed to use both locations. This Sunday, I was informed my membership would only include San Clemente if I paid a new membership startup fee of $1,000 and my monthly fee would also increase. Nice job, Lifetime!

The good: beautiful large gym, clean and well maintained. There are numerous classes and the instructors are usually very good, as are the personal trainers.Needs improvement: The gym is pricey and that may be why some of the club members are inconsiderate. While there is a large weight area it is ofter hard to find a free machine. The floor is almost always busy (even hours that for most gym would be slower). There is very little gym etiquette. Members frequently don't wipe down the equipment after using, don't want anyone to work in with them (spend the time between sets checking their phones), drop weights even if you're working on a connected machine, etc. Spoke to a representative of the gym today and she told me that they send out an email on gym etiquette and that is all they can do. She recommended that I come in off-peak hours which in her mind was before 8AM and after 8PM. Before this club I was belonged to a cross-fit gym where there was a great sense of community. That is non-existent here. The staff that deals with membership are not as knowledgeable as I would expect them to be. I've asked them membership questions on different occasions and they typically say they "think" or they're not sure and unless I ask specifically they won't go the extra step to find out the answer.

AVOID due to scam like business practices. There is supposed to be no contract, just month to month membership. However they continued to charge me more than $800 after I canceled, stating their bogus system did not record the cancelation. They refuse to refund me citing onerous terms and conditions, even though nobody from my family has set foot in the gym for the months since we canceled. Refused to work with me to make good on the issue. Unethical money grabbers.

Costs an extra $175 per person to use their pool! Lol $280 a month but you need to pay extra to use the pool. It 24 hour fitness can include a pool in their 20$ membership lifetime should be ashamed to gouge their already overpaying customers for a little more. Honestly unethical

I was a charter member having been there for almost ten years. The quality has gone down, the gym is old and crowded - full of kids- and they raised my rates ridiculously high from 160 to 240 for no reason for a single individual. These people are insane. $240 for an individual? I would rather join Equinox, a tennis club or a country club at this price point. Don’t waste your time or money.
