The store is clean and, in general, the prices are reasonable. I have found some employees to be courteous and helpful but others not so much. The area most in need of improvement is the deli. Too often I have waited (first in line or the only customer waiting) "way too long" as deli workers glanced at me then passed by busy with other tasks. On my last visit, waiting and waiting to be helped with a sliced turkey and roast beef order, I finally left deciding to make my purchase at another store. I have shopped here 2 or three times a month primarily because it is close to my house. Recently I have begun to think that driving to another store, would be a more enjoyable experience.

Went to this Ralph's last night to pick up some Shrimp amongst other things at 8 pm only to find the deli closed and it looks to have been closed for a while! If the stores opened it should be opened!

Cashier I've had the misfortune of meeting there three times now and staff as a whole is rude and indifferent to the customer experience. I've had this same cashier multiple times now and I have had enough. She can't make eye contact, project her voice loud enough to hear her and is completely unhappy with being there. She's like this every time. I bought a lot of groceries and there was watermelon juice on the belt that's used to pull the groceries forward. Seeing the juice, she chose to not to bother to clean it up and put my grocery bags on top of it. I asked her why she was doing that and that I am not okay with her putting my grocery bags over watermelon juice that's just sitting on the belt and to change out my grocery bag. She proceeded to give me an attitude and changed my bag without even cleaning the watermelon juice. Disgusting behavior and approach to someone whose sole job description is to greet the customer with a smile and help them during the checkout period. These types of matters can only fall on management dropping the ball and carelessly employing whomever they can without consideration of fit since clearly this individual is not a good fit for her position.

Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever experienced! Lost a beautiful bracelet, maybe in the store - maybe in the parking lot. Completely unsure of where I lost it but once aware of it missing from my wrist went back to look for it. Did I lose it at self-check? Did I lose it in the aisles? Did I lose it in the lot? Who knows but I could not find it. Nor had anyone turned it in. The circus act that went on from there defies imagination or description! Let me just say I had no real hope of finding my bracelet and after having looked around I could see none of its remnants. Told the lovely lady working the self-check about it and was prepared to leave the store when one of the cashiers turned away from her customer TO my direction to say that she may have seen something but threw it in the trash... YES! You are reading this correctly! "Was it a bracelet?" Unintelligible answer "Was it a pearl bracelet?" Unintelligible answer repeated. No one NO ONE in the store was bothered by this conduct NO ONE asked the cashier what the hell she saw or threw out - it was absolutely infuriating! Now I'm asking for directions to the trash can and for gloves to go thru the trash!!!No one could be bothered to ask this cashier what she actually saw OR why she would have tossed it!! I asked for a manager and proceeded to the trash can in the produce department where this employee tossed her sweepings. Outrageous!! The lovely Assistant Store manager and I tore through the trash can looking for nothing that existed! I was beyond upset and disgusted that we were going thru garbage instead of speaking to this cashier directly about what she saw. It was like a train wreck in slow motion! I left thoroughly disgusted! Days later I called the Store Manager, Kathy, who took no interest in the matter when she heard about from her own staff, but she apologized for the situation and offered to call in a Team to look it all up on surveillance footage. It was nothing but a sh*t show from there and because I walked out with another similar bracelet, I was accused of, not only, fabricating the loss but also of having accused her employees of stealing from me!!! You can see me on camera asking the employee, a few times, what type of "trinket" she saw/trashed but to please point in the general direction of where she trashed it! As I said, it defies both imagination AND description. Me accuse someone of stealing it from me?? OUTRAGEOUS! I lost it. It was my fault. I blamed no one I just didn't understand what this cashier was trying to tell me! Rookies and total amateurs running this show! The only good thing to report is the lovely and very kind assistant manager who's name, I believe, is Espy, who took the time sifting through produce and garbage with me only to find zero evidence of any lost treasure, even in the vaguest "one persons trash is another person's treasure" scenario! I told Espy I really didn't understand the trashing of a beautiful bracelet and that it would sooner go into a pocket than into a trash can...and that looking for it in trash felt false and utterly humiliating. No argument could be made here. Just a total nightmare! One thing to lose a valuable, sentimental bracelet, but it's quite another thing, entirely, to be treated so disgracefully!!! By a "store manager" nonetheless! DISGUSTING APPALLING DESPICABLE Three calls to their 800 number got me absolutely nowhere because no one cared. You'd think it could not happen in 2023 where every move you make is recorded but it totally happened right here at RALPH'S Laguna Niguel. At CVP and Greenfield! I was a Lifelong customer! I'm at a total loss, on every level!!

I usually stop here after work. I live by a Albertsons, but the selection and prices here are better. It also helps that the employees are so super kind!! The cashiers and baggers have great customer service. Even in produce, the employees are great. Oh I have to add even my fellow shoppers are polite!!!! I leave smiling, great ending to a long work day. Thank you!

The worst Ralphs ever. Never more than 1 checker to check you out. Plenty of employees standing around chatting amongst themselves. JP is the rudest checker, has a sense of entitlement who has yelled at me and other customers.

Came in for a snack at the Hot bar and Sandra was so wonderful. She was personable, gave a good recommendation and a delight to be around. Pretty sure she's made a quick stop at the hot bar my new tradition as I enter Laguna. Got some wings and wedges. Overall tasty and hit the spot, but certain wings and sides definitely tasted fresher than others. Will def be back!

4 stars for the nice kid who helped me check out using self check out. He was very sweet and knew exactly what to input so I didn't have to struggle weighing the grapes and cherries. The produce looks great here, and I recommend this market!

Joey originally from meat department now works in both deli and meat carries this store with customer service even helped my cousin (visiting at the time) in bakery u need service ask for Joey!!!

What happened to this place? I used to live close by and went here all the time and loved it. I was in the area and stopped by to pick up a few items and I was shocked. The bakery hardly had any fresh bread or buns. I rang the buzzer at meat counter 3 times and waited for almost ten minutes and nobody ever showed up. I got a couple other things and went to check out and the woman working the register was not very nice. As I was on my way out thinking about how weird it seemed there was a woman in the self check out trying to get the attention of the person working that area with not much luck as he was having a conversation with another employee. I doubt I will be dropping into this place again.

I would give this store 0 star if I could. I don't know why they hire these rude employees that have no idea how to treat the local customers. The one that mostly cause problems are Hispanic girl and woman. Young girl has no idea of work ethics in service providing industry. They never change the sales signs on the display so you spend time shopping and buy multiple items but at check out , you have to wait for them to go back and check and honor the signs. And they young Hispanic girl maybe 19-20 gets nasty. The manager watching the whole thing and let her be rude. when I talked to him, he says I didn't hear which is a lie cause he was less than 6 feet over. There are a few hard working long timers there that are so helpful and go out of their way and polite. Why not promote them to management so they can teach these rude Hispanic girl what customer service is about.

the service at the hot food station and the deli is beyond just sub par. Im writing this as I am waiting (10 minutes) for a worker to even notice me. I come here every day because i love the SUPPOSED to be quick and easy food but if the service doesnt improve and does that SOON im more and more tempted to take my time and money elsewhere. I certainly do not appreciate spending over half of my 30 minute break waiting for someone to pay attention to their customers.

Did I just get yelled at by a store employee??? I was at this location doing some shopping and on my way out, I grabbed a newspaper when suddenly an employee came out yelling at me. The newspaper shelves were not labeled AT ALL with prices anywhere that I can see I would have appreciated NOT being yelled at in public and it would have been better Customer Service to calmly explain to me that the newspapers costs money (which I did not know) and to take them to the counter or cashier for prices. Or have proper signs on the shelving display.
