I recently visited LN Auto Center for some work on my BMW. They replaced a starter and battery along with a routine oil change and brake fluid flush. Overall, I had a really positive experience. The staff were friendly and attentive. They kept me informed throughout the process with frequent update calls. The quality of work was excellent and my car is running smoothly once again. The technician, Brandon, was very knowledgeable and skilled. I'd definitely recommend this service center for their professionalism and quality of work. I'll come back (but hopefully not too soon) again.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I have been a Customer at Laguna Niguel Auto/Europerformance for over 25 years. I knew the prior owner and the current owners very well. There are many reasons why I continue to have my vehicles serviced and maintained there:1. They are honest.2. The work performed is all done by Certified Mechanics (who are passionate about their work.)3. Their prices are fair and MUCH less than gong to the Dealer!Since my wife and 6 year old daughter drive to our second home in Mexico every month our vehicles must be in top shape - no kidding - Mexico. So if I can feel confident in bringing my cars there for any repair you can too. Mike and Aaron the current owners are dedicated professionals and they plan to be doing good business for another 25 years!Shaun HurleyLocal Real Estate Broker

I've been taking my cars to Laguna Niguel Auto Center for more than 10 years. During that time, I've met the owner, service manager and several of the mechanics. Each of them has been professional, helpful, and courteous. They always provide an accurate estimate for service, and the cost of repairs is much more reasonable that dealer service, and very competitive with other independent shops. Whenever possible, I am provided with alternative solutions, if there are any, and given the facts I need to make an informed decision. I like to plan ahead and keep my cars in good working order, so I'm not surprised and left stranded with a broken down car. Staff are always helpful in providing me honest information about any upcoming maintenance services, so I can plan and prepare. In addition, the estimates I'm given for repair and the time for repair to be completed, are accurate. If any other issues are discovered, I am promptly advised and provided detailed information about what needs to be done, the level of urgency, and the cost. Laguna Niguel Auto Center is the absolute best shop in OC.

Fantastic auto repair shop! Reliable, reasonably priced, and knowledgeable! We have brought our Lexuses to LNAC for 7 years and highly recommend their auto repair and service! The service manager, Aaron, is experienced, responsive, and explains the repairs in easy to understand terms. Which is a must for today's complicated autos. Aaron is great for scheduling your vehicle, and keeps tabs on routine maintenance too. I highly recommend using Laguna Niguel Auto Center for your car service!

I just had my Mercedes Benz maintenance performed here and I could not be happier with the results. Aaron the service manager was so knowledgeable and forthright with the "must perform" vs the "don't need to perform" service items which makes the overall experience very comforting. The job was quoted to be a certain price and work to be completed by a certain time, both of which were achieved at lesser amounts. I would highly recommend Laguna Niguel Auto for any engine repair or service.

I only trust 1 mechanic to touch my vehicles. The honesty, thoroughness, and quality of service here are second to none. And most of the time I've been to the shop, everyone seems happy to be there. Over the years I've had a number of BMWs run through the stable, from an E90 V8 M3 to an E30 318iC, and our current 328 and x3 diesel fleet. They've all been serviced here for years. The techs, we mostly work with Brandon, are thorough in the assessment of your vehicle, recommending the things that need to be done right away and things that are coming in the future. They aren't constantly trying to upsell something that isn't needed. Service writer, Aaron, is always straightforward and communicative. The flow of information from the shop to you is fast and free, so you're always in the loop with the workings of your car. Mike, who runs the whole thing, is a stand up guy. Seems to be always in hand to help out his team when needed, and has an eclectic collection of his own. There's always something new and different being worked on. Shop is a little hard to get to, but we'll worth the trouble of getting there. Not many honest mechanics left I'm afraid. Trust that this team is who you want taking care of things if you can't do it yourself.

I have an older car that needed repair. I called and talk to Aaron. He was very helpful. They handled my issues and got me back on the road the same day. Much appreciated.

Frustrating Experience at Laguna Niguel Auto Center: A Push Towards Unnecessary ExpensesI recently had an experience with Laguna Niguel Auto Center that left me feeling frustrated and deceived. I approached them with a specific issue in my car and explicitly requested that they focus solely on fixing the primary problem, leaving any additional repairs for me to handle later. Unfortunately, my request fell on deaf ears, and they attempted to lead me down a path of spending much more than was required. From the beginning, I made it clear that I wanted them to address the root cause of the issue and not to delve into other problems. However, instead of respecting my wishes, they employed a methodology that seemed more geared toward draining my wallet than providing a satisfactory solution. While I acknowledge that there may be a logical basis for their approach, it did not align with my needs and desires as a customer. From the beginning and throughout the process, I pleaded with the staff at Laguna Niguel Auto Center to adhere to my initial request. I stressed the importance of avoiding unnecessary expenses and repeatedly asked them not to embark on a step-by-step approach that would lead to temporary poverty on my part. Sadly, they disregarded my pleas and continued with their systematic strategy. What disappointed me the most was that I felt they were trying to manipulate the situation by charging me for various symptoms in order to reach the primary issue. Although technically speaking its not a scam its a manipulation ... but It felt like a scam, as they were well aware of the root cause of the problem and they could have addressed it without incurring excessive costs. Their thoroughness, while commendable in some ways, was not what I had desired or explicitly asked for.In the end, my frustration reached a tipping point, and I decided to request my car back before getting further entangled in their vortex of unnecessary expenses. I took my car to another repair shop where they did what i asked for an fixed it at 25% the cost of what LBC was trying to pull. Frankly speaking, I was impressed with their professional approach however It was disheartening to experience such a lack of respect for my preferences and financial situation. As a customer, I expect my concerns to be heard and respected, especially when I clearly communicated my intentions from the start.I hope that my feedback serves as a reminder to Laguna Niguel Auto Center and its staff to listen attentively to their customer's needs and preferences. While their meticulous approach may work for some, it is essential to respect individual requests and not push customers towards a path they explicitly expressed a desire to avoid.

I was brought in by AAA. Wasn't sure what kind of service I would receive. Turns out Aaron was so helpful and was able to get me back on the road n less than an hour.

Hands-down the worst experience I have ever had. These people are incredibly cunning in regards to reading a problem and then charging you for everything along the way to fix it. If you know what I mean, when you go in there and you say you need to replace a water pump and you know that's the problem and they come back to you saying that it doesn't need a code and they have to diagnose it step-by-step you have no choice but you take your word for it because you're not a mechanic they are. At first I really said I was in good hands. I explain to the gentleman that I had a certain budget because I knew that budget would fit within the parameters of replacing a water pump but instead they convinced me to try a another message that was equal to the same amount of work, same budget and if that would truly take care of it. They called me, said it was fixed, and that it will be ready in an hour. but no as I'm on my way down there they told me that their method did not work, and then I had to pay for that and the next remedy to see if that would work. And if that didn't work, they would replace the water pump. The water pump is what I asked you to replace to begin with so we start off in $1500 job would've turned out to be somewhere in the range of 3200. They knew I didn't have the money to mess around and he decided to do the switching bait we got this will take care of it this should fix it chuck and jive talk. The key working should. The am say to me "don't be angry sir I said it should fix it not that it would fix it you never know with these kind of things". This is the kind of mechanic that will walk you down the road step-by-step over diagnosing and making you really worry about what's going on with your car while they do step by step repair of you don't need to be repaired and if you want to raise them to do that and it doesn't fix your main problem then too bad because you authorized it. so another words you're paying them to go to auto mechanic school. Ridiculous. scamish!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS !!! These are bunch of incompetent bait and switch people who will lure you in with phony low estimates then fleece you - you’re much better off going to a dealer for at least you’ll get a competent mechanic. Go elsewhere. You have been warned.

Do not ever take your car here. They will charge you 3xs as much as any local ship within a 10 mile radius.

My car blew its coolant hoses and i needed a quick repair asap. AAA said this place was on their list so i went. $880 and three days later they replaced the 4 hoses. i drive my car for a day then same problem happens all my coolant is on the floor. guess who didn't clamp on the hoses:). so i go back have to wait another three days and i get an oil change too cause it's about that time and they already have it. they charge me $120 for the oil. $1000 and over a week later i get my car back. i feel like i've been scammed out of my money and i would never recommend this place. oh also they didn't even clean up the coolant that spilled all over the pan of my car like what? you guys caused this mess and you won't even clean it even though you did the first time? absolutely ridiculous. literally go anywhere else than here unless you want to pay a premium for below average repair work and have to come back. i drive a black toyota 4runner btw if that helps.

Want a repair shop that you can trust to put your vehicle in a safe running condition - LOOK ELSEWHERE. They convinced me I had a safety problem and that I needed certain suspension replaced that would cost thousands of dollars. They knew I was planning a trip that would be thousands of miles. So I let them make the repairs and forked over the thousands of dollars. Upon returning from the trip, they inspected the vehicle and tried to convince me that i needed brakes repaired. I thought it was a little odd that my brakes never wore out that quickly, and told them I was going to have my brake person recheck it. (my family has been using this person for 40 years for tires and brakes on commercial and personal vehicles). When my brake person put my vehicle up on the rack, he found that a bolt was loose and a nut was missing from the suspension that Laguna Niguel Auto replaced. When I told LN Auto, they did not dispute that a loose bolt/missing nut was a serious problem and that it could have caused a horrendous accident, especially at highways speeds and on mountain roads. When I asked LN Auto what they were going to do to rectify the issue, they merely replied that they were looking into the issue. They never offered to accept responsibility, apologize, or rectify the issue.
