The people in the store are friendly and helpful so I'm giving it 2 stars. However, WARNING Do NOT buy an extended service warranty through their provider, Allstate. I had a terrible time getting referred from one number to another in a time consuming loop of being transferred, downloading an app, uploading my receipt, endless transfers and getting cut off while on hold!!! After many attempts I got hold of someone who FINALLY arranged for a technician who can come out in 2 weeks (It's for my refrigerator). NEVER AGAIN will I buy an appliance from Home Depot!!!

This location is horrible. Tons of workers walking around, yet no one asks if you need help finding something. I asked two different workers if they could help me out to see if something is in stock, and they just kept pawning me off to different areas of the store that also could not help me. Also need to mention it seems like they looked like they hated their lives working there. Ridiculous, better off ordering something on Amazon and not dealing with rude workers at this location.

The only reason I use this place is due to it's location. Customer Service is the worst, and trying to figure out the Military Discount app. is impossible. However, most items I need are reasonably priced and the selection is good not great. Here's a laughter I experienced today. I purchased a $250 Home Depot gift card for my daughter who just bought a house. The package it came in said Thank-you, instead of Congratulations. They rang up the gift card and during that time I found the Congratulations package. They could not transfer the package because their systems didn't allow for that. I asked to speak to a store manager because I didn't just fall off the "Turnip Truck", but he was trying his best and couldn't make it happen. My day didn't get any better so I went home and went to bed!

I would like to give 5 star to my experience I had at Home Depot Mission Viejo location. At the costumer service counter Alina helped be with returns , she was fast , professional, friendly with how I can help attitude. After she completed my returns I asked her about other items I want to check and she directed me .

I went to HD today in need of paint for my bathroom ceiling. I walked in the paint department looking a little lost and Chris helped me out. He guided has to how much paint I would need and all other necessities. Thank you Chris! You were on point about everything! Ceiling painted . On the the next project!

The store was amazing, the web site sucks. It was very difficult to find anything. The picture was all I needed to buy, less one item that the website said was in stock, but wasn't. Staff was ok.

This place has definitely gone down hill. The past several times I've gone in there the service has been rough to put it nicely. I tried buying four Samsung appliances when they were having a sale and I couldn't get anyone to actually sell me the appliances. The one person that came over couldn't figure out how to use the sales computer in the appliance area. After asking for my information several times and failing to get the order in I just had to leave. I ended up buying at Howard's down the way. I went in to buy lumber and have some of it cut and nobody was available to work the saw. I asked and they said someone would be over and then I waited and waited. I asked again and was told someone would be right over. Again, nothing. The people working there don't seem to have much knowledge of what they are selling. I give two stars because the people in the paint department are great. I'd give them 5 and the rest of the store 2 at most.

DO NOT waste your money on ANY TYPE OF INSTALLATION services from this store. Specifically Greg McNulty is quite possibly the worst sales manager I've ever come in contact with. We ordered new doors and windows last January, we all know things take time, no problem. But what is a problem is waiting 5 months for the WRONG windows and WRONG door size. That's right, they installed a French door that was 2 ft too small. We were left with a 2x4 on the floor to cover the huge gap for 5 months!!!!! When they came to install the correct size door do you know what happened? They didn't have SCREWS!!?? Is that a joke? No it's not people. They came 10 months later, 2 different doors and no screws lol. To top it all off the door doesn't close lol. So now they have to come back to fix it. I absolutely am disgusted by Greg, Nick, Lee and anyone else I've come in contact with over this situation. ALSO- they use 3rd party companies to install so you have BEEN WARNED!!!

We always have choices when we shop, and this location has disappointed me multiple times. This location is not my choice. In my recent visit I was looking for unique hardware and asked an associate in windows for help finding it. Detected some attitude when he had to get out of a chair (imagine that, he had to stand up and walk in a Home Depot) to show me where it was. Earlier the same week I was shopping for river rocks. Found some in the back of the garden center but unfortunately it was entirely covered with rat feces. I looked around that area and noticed most of the other types of rocks and gravel were covered in rat feces as well. Customers typically pick up these bags by hand, load them in their vehicle , and take them home. No thanks to infecting my hands, vehicle, and home with hantavirus. I noticed 3-4 workers huddled in the back of the garden center just chatting it up among themselves both when I arrived at the store and when I left (about 30 min). Couldn't they have done something about the problem? Another employee mentioned the rats are in the rock area because they like the bird seed stored right next to it. I was surprised no one did anything about it for what appeared to be at least weeks. There's definitely not a good vibe here.

Home Depot Laguna NiguelHired HD LN to replace my carpet with vinyl flooring. It took 2-3 months for the materials to arrive and during that time, I only got updates when I called them. No one at Home Depot called me to provide an update concerning delivery of the materials and installation. Oh, and I paid 100% upfront for the job.Home Depot only uses Carpet Pros in Orange, CA, for the installation. Eventually the materials arrive and the crew from Carpet Pros arrives to install the floor. They remove most of my carpet and the foreman says they cannot install the vinyl flooring as my floor isn't level. Home Depot tries to refer me to some contractors to check out my floor and level it out if necessary. Can we say upsell!!! Anyway, I met with and hired Tony of Payless Carpet & Flooring in San Juan Capistrano. Tony's master installer, Juan, not only installed the flooring without any problem, but he did an amazing job. Juan has worked in the trade for decades and didnt find a problem with my floor. So, perhaps it was a case of Home Depot upsell or laziness on behalf of the Carpet Pros crew.Thanks to Tony & Juan with Payless Carpet & Flooring, my vinyl flooring looks amazing!DO NOT HIRE HOME DEPOT FOR FLOORING!HIRE PAYLESS CARPET & FLOORING IN SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO!!!!

I was so impressed with Mark who works in plumbing- he went out of his way to help me find things in the store that had nothing to do with plumbing. A man with integrity and great customer service - at first I asked a young man Matthew who also works In Plumbing and of course with an attitude said " i work In Plumbing only"I have been in the service business for 40 years and Matthew needs an attitude adjustment! Kudos to Mark the older but genuine man

NEVER use them. They lie to your face. They came to install a window and said they would be back within 10 days to finish the job. They never came back. They don't answer the phone. They refuse to provide an update or even call back. They took our money and walked away form the job. See you in court, Home Depot.
