Overall experience was fine, but a small additional cost was added at return for no particular reason. Since I prepaid for the rental, this was irritating and unnecessary. If you quote a price, that should be the price.

I rented with you and left some items in the vehicle by accident. Unfortunately your location doesn’t even show up for the Avis Lost and Found form. Also when I contacted your number on Google I was connected with the general customer service line and they said they couldn’t even see your location on their system… so I need a directly phone number or email of your location to reach someone about the items which I would like to retrieve. Please and thank you.

Excellent rental experience from booking to a collecting and returning . Efficient courteous and helpful staff at the local office that made the process easy. The fleet is new and in great condition making the rental vey pleasant.

I had scheduled my pickup time for 8:00 a.m. and the drop-off for 4:00 p.m. Unfortunately, I encountered unexpected traffic, causing me to arrive at the drop-off location at 4:20 p.m. To my surprise, I discovered that the site now closes at 4:00 p.m. instead of the previously advertised 5:00 p.m. closing time.Due to the early closure and the location not offering after-hours drop-off options, I had no choice but to keep the vehicle overnight and return it the following morning when the site reopened at 8:00 a.m. This inconvenience resulted in a $15 late fee, even though the car wouldn't have been leased to another customer then; it simply remained parked at my house and was promptly returned once the location reopened.I've been a loyal customer of this Avis location primarily because of its proximity to my home. However, the recent experience has left me less satisfied, and I'm now considering using the next closest competing car rental service for my future needs.While the service, vehicle quality, and staff were excellent, the early closure of the location without an after-hours drop-off option and the subsequent late fee have led me to explore other options for my future car rental needs.

I arranged a pick up and drop off at my hotel and they delivered. Provided a reliable car in good condition to get me from Aliso Viejo to Long Beach with nice AC and car functionality. Though the car did not have an installed map so I had to use my phone and connect through USB

Terrible experience. The car was dirty (gross hair on the console and dashboard), the wiper blades kept slipping out during a rainstorm, and the manual seat adjustment handle was stuck.I also paid $200 for 8 hours!

Long story short, this location/Avis who allows it are terrible. They are basically stealing money without any real guidelines/rules. Save yourself time, headache, money, and rent somewhere else.Long story.I rented a Dodge Durango for $380 to transport family and friends around as I had just returned from a overseas deployment.First, when renting I saw a sign noting that if you have a dog, or trash the car and get hair, trash in the car it’s a $250 charge. I asked the renter and she said it was true and they had to get it professionally cleaned and I joked that I would not allow my two husky’s even near the car because of how crazy that costSecond, Then when I get the car exterior was rough with scratches and missing paint, the inside was gross with food, trash under the back flip up seats, hair, and in general a mess. It also smelled terrible. I ended up having to vacuum and clean the car before using it. I was blown away as I had just talked about this with the renter on how the cars had to be clean.Third, I then come to return the car, I had cleaned the car throughly with my wife(who had helped me clean up the disaster of a car we received) as we joked about how we much better where where returning it then we received it. It was extremely clean and smelled great etc. I turn in the keys to the same woman who I initially rented from and she goes to get the millage, when she returns she says there is excessive dog hair in the car. I’m blown away and explain what is said above, she tells me it’s actually $450 to clean the car now and basically there is nothing I can do about it. I attempt to argue but she just charges my card. I have to run my wife to a pregnancy appt. so we have to leave but I tell her I’ll return and that I’d like to speak to customer service.Fourth, we return about an hour later and the same woman is in the process of renting the car to another person. I walk up and she tells me she contacted somebody that said the car was dirty and that she charged me for the cleaning because she had to vacuum the car and that I would be charged $250. She also said she took pictures which I asked her to please send to me as I’d like to submit them to customer service. She said she had my number on file and would send them, she obviously never did.Final, She said I’d be charged either $250-400. We where gone about an hour or so, between renting the car to another person I’d wager she spent maybe 30 min total cleaning the car and that’s being generous as the car was clean so there was not much work to do, as well as not getting it professionally cleaned as she had claimed days before was required. I only know this because we returned, if we had not I’m sure they would claim it had been. If there was any residual small amount of dirt it is nothing outside the normal somebody would get using the car for a week.At that point it’s bordering on scamming me out of my money, it blows me away that this is allowed.I sat on hold with customer service for about an hour until the line just went dead and the call disconnected. I’d assume I’ll never see any money or anything. The best I can do is hope I save a couple people out there from making my same mistake. Just rent somewhere else.

0 Stars. Avis/Budget quoted me $41, which I had prepaid, online. There was no mention of a deposit. When I arrived, the desk clerk required an additional $250 deposit, [otherwise she would not rent to me and not give me a refund.].She told me to call customer service for a refund of my pre-payment.She said the deposit would be $200 if I had not prepaid online !!??!!I have never encountered such cheeky nerve from a rental agency in the past, either from Budget or Avis. In short, I do not recommend this location.

Elijah that’s works the front desk was agressive and yelled at me while I was searching for email showing we were canceled by Avis by error and use our two day free rental to our week long vacation . I should have called the police on him . WOMEN DONT GO HERE , this man will get in your face and almost hit you . Bc didn’t do that to my fiancé.

The service is just poor. We the Customer are paying more than the ave daily rental rate for convenience of this Avis Budget location but the disrespect is below Laguna Niguel family friendly business values. Not worth the time and effort to support this business owner specially when the customer leaves angry and frustrated. I will recommend not enabling this business practice and support a different car rental vendor who treats customers respectfully.

was given the keys to an extremely dirty car -- it was covered in mud. There was an open package of pastries in the glove box. Papers were littered throughout the car from Yosemite, Knott's Berry Farm, the Rockies, and other destinations. All 4 tires were underinflated with a warning light. Upon starting the car, a warning said a running light was not working. When I reported this upon return to the agent, he completely ignored me. I have rented from AVIS for decades. Never again from this facility.
