Dr. Tuz and the entire staff are amazing. They get to know the dog and family and provide personal attention. I’ve always been able to get an appointment without waiting too long. I also appreciate the conservative approach and never feel they are just trying g to get my money. Hopefully, he won’t swallow anymore socks!

Doctor Tuz performed multiple surgeries on my three dogs and I was always very pleased with the result, not to mention their prices much more “reasonable” than any other vet in the area, on top of that the staff is amazing there so I highly recommend them ❤️

Worst Experience Ever
- Lab work took a week after telling me they'd have skin sample lab work in 3 days to determine after telling them my wife is pregnant and that my cats may have ringworm.
- I had to treat the cats myself with ear mite meds since they had symptoms for weeks and I still hadn't gotten any results other than ringworm. My poor babies were crying and were in distress while I was giving drops. Turns out that my cat was tested for ear mites, etc. on the day of my appointment but the results weren't communicated to me.
- After paying almost $500 and having no solution, they asked me to bring the cats in again
- They called me 2 hours before my appointment claiming I was a no show and that they left a message. They then said I'd have to schedule a different day even though my wife had taken time off of work to bring the cats in. If I had at least received an email confirming my appointment, I would've caught the error but I did not bother to listen through a general voicemail that transcribed to say "confirming your appointment for tomorrow..."
- I decided to take my cats somewhere else and requested medical records but they did not provide them. I called the following day and they said that they had no doctors in the office for another 2 days and wouldn't be able to provide me with medical records essentially blocking me from taking my cats elsewhere. They even mentioned that a note had been placed on the doctors desk the day prior. This is the primary reason I'm leaving this review. Withholding medical records just to attempt to keep business makes me sick.

Withholding medical records just to attempt to keep business makes me sick. ------- Update based on business response: The conversation you are referring to was 3 days after we requested medical records and they still hadn't been sent until after our call. Why would I argue with someone who has the power to stop me from taking my cats to another clinic by withholding records. I did not feel like I could truly have an open dialog. We are human and make mistakes but there is nothing you can do to take back the helpless feeling we had knowing we can't care for our babies because your business refused to release our medical records. I can assure you that my wife and I both called Marguerite Animal Hospital multiple times on different days pleading to get an appointment and they said both times that we needed to send medical records first. In regards to the appointment issue being "on me," is it my fault for expecting your receptionist to enter my appointment time correctly to where I don't need to compare my voicemail to what I scheduled? Perhaps, at most, we are both at fault for this but you surely can't say this is my fault.

Hello fellow pet parents. I really struggled with whether or not to write this review but given the nature of what happened to my cat while under the care of Dr. Tez I feel I must alert others to what I experienced. My 2 cats have been "patients" of Aliso Niguel Animal Hospital for about 11 years. Over the years I experienced great care under the watchful eye of Dr. Beth Walter who, unfortunately, retired a few years ago. Since then, the care has gone down hill mostly, in my opinion, to the fact that they are far too busy to give great care to their pets. One of my cats (11 years old) was diagnosed in April of 2024 with hyperthyroidism, and passed away on July 15, 2024 from cancer. What troubles me most is that during the months that my cat was under hyperthyroid care (bloodwork, intermittent exams, etc.) the cancer was not diagnosed until July 2, 2024 and at that point it was too late. I gave my sweet boy his angel wings on July 12, 2024 - just 10 days later. I'd had a previous appointment for a follow-up (hyperthyroidism) appointment the following week after he'd passed, and because they failed to note my cat's chart during his last visit they called to remind me about the appointment (which, by the way had been ordered and then subsequently cancelled by Dr. Tez due to her finding the cancer.) This was quite upsetting because my cat had already passed away. The scheduler ended this very upsetting call by saying, "Sorry. I hope you have a better day." Needless to day, I have lost trust in Dr. Tez. I can't imagine how she missed the cancer at that late stage when she was already treating him for a different ailment. I will be finding another vet to care for my other sweet 17 year-old cat. So, please be cautious here - Aliso Niguel Animal Hospital is a very busy pet hospital, so just be careful if you are looking a vet who will keep a watchful eye on your pet's health as this is probably not the place for you.

Dr. Tuz and Dr. Gohar are excellent veterinarians and the entire staff is super friendly and helpful. They are quick to respond and schedule appointments and everyone takes their time ensuring they explain all aftercare in detail. Their prices are reasonable and they are centrally located in South OC. We are grateful to have found such an amazing privately owned and operated vet clinic today in a sea of corporate clinics backed by private equity.

Had an appointment for my 10 yr old Female German Shepherd. Annual check up and shots. Vet listened to heart, checked ears and tried to up sell blood work ($200). All in less then 5 minutes! Techs trimmed her nails. All of of this for $160+. I origianlly came here because of all the great reviews. What a disppointment.

Do not take your pets here! They do not care about animals no compassion at all .They are too busy and won't be there for your dying pet they will send you away with no heart. Most staff members are rude .Thank you to Elise who was very compassionate and sorry for our loss but the rest of the staff they should not be around animals .Dr.Tuz you should do a better job because you failed us .Try to do what's best for the animal and you did not you failed to call me back before the end of the day .Too busy was your excuse ?If I could give a zero I would .Word of mouth is key and I will spread the word quickly what an aweful place this is . My response Dr.Tuz try to speak the truth next time .I returned your calls but YOU were busy I was the last one to call you .You should have called before you left work you knew that Peanut was declining .As far as me berating that is simply not the truth .Dr.Tuz maybe support your customers instead of assuming things.Your office should have had a doctor on staff your hours were until 6pm I came in at 5:30pm because Peanut was declining.Sarah was rude to me and my family during this very difficult time no compassion I would NEVER trust her with my pet.We were turned away by our own vet.I did not hang up on you I said I needed to go to find a vet that will help Peanut .We did find a great place Aliso Viejo Animal Hospital to lay Peanut to rest and will be taking all my animals there. You were always TOO busy to take calls not a vet I want .And the really sad part is you never even called to say sorry for our loss that shows this business No Compassion

Great staff. We had a really good experience with ANAH right up until we left town. Our dog has arthritis and I wanted to get her some anti-inflammatories. It took nearly a week to get through to the vet and by then it was via the girl on the phone (the vet never took the time to speak to me), they insisted she needed a blood test before being prescribe doggy ibuprofen (ridiculous) by which time we had to leave in 24hrs. The absurd bureaucracy of it has ruined my experience with this clinic. We had provided all of her previous vet records and it clearly showed she had been prescribed this in the past and to have delayed us in this way only served to leave my dog uncomfortable over the next week of driving across the country. Overall a good clinic and their wait times were excellent. But maybe consider Trinity up the road instead.

Privately owned clinic, ran by a very hardworking veterinarian, Dr. Tuz. I have been a client, friend, and intermittent employee of Dr Tuz' for about 20 years. I highly recommend her as a doctor and am thankful for her commitment to all of her patients!

Aliso Niguel Animal Hospital and especially Dr. Tuz are amazing. I have taken all my animals here for at least the last 10 years. Her and her staff are compassionate and well versed and always talk through the diagnosis and care plans. I always feel my animals are loved and highly cared for when taking them in for care. I have been through a lot with my animals over the years from puppies and kittens to senior dogs and I would recommend them 1000 times over.

We brought our Shih-Tzu, Moki, in today to have a skin issue checked out and saw Dr. Cline. She was so sweet with him and very thorough. She explains things very well, including the cost of everything unlike some vets, who don't tell you anything about what they're doing and then present you with a thousand dollar bill at the end of the visit. I like that we're given a choice as to what tests/medications/treatments we want to pursue rather than being told what we'll do. The front desk staff is very friendly and accommodating as well. We've decided to make Aliso Niguel our permanent vet for all three of our fur-kids :) Highly recommend!
