This is my local Albertsons, I am very thankful for the team that works there.
Johnny in the produce department was kind enough to ask me about my leg and notice I am walking poorly due to a recovery of a broken femur. It was just nice for someone to notice because I feel like people just pretend to not see someone struggling me. Made me feel less alone dealing with my leg pain. Very nice guy.
Also, I was silly enough to leave my phone in the grocery cart and luckily the team around 4pm on June 24, 2024 found my phone and kept it safe until I returned back to receive it.
I think this store is over priced, but at least the team there makes it worth it. Thank you to everyone who’s been kind to me there.

Great location, they have everything but their selection on birthday items are very limited. I needed it to get something for a recent birthday but they did not carry it. For birthday I suggest party city or another store.

I just went to the store and spent $300. I asked somebody where something is they pointed to the area they don't know I went through the checkout stand and I had downloaded the app and I was clipping the coupons on the app, and then the I told One of the checkers and they said sorry you can't do that and I said well saving me $27 and they said well I'm gonna have to re-scan everything you have to do this first which I did exactly what I was supposed to do. The service is extremely poor, everybody looks miserable working there nobody smiling. It's a horrible place and it's frustrating. Spending $300 somewhere where even employees hate to be everything is overpriced there's moldy fruit in produce it's horrible. It's absolutely horrible.

We spent over $300.00 this weekend at our local Albertsons. Once we started unpacking the bags, we found over $24 in specialty cheeses we purchased that were out of date, we also purchased twelve yogurt cups, six were out of date, finally we bought a personal size watermelon, and it was rotten inside. this is the second time this has happened to us, wont be a third

I come to this store 2-3 times per week because I live across the street, they have good sales, food quality is always good. I worked in customer service for 17 years and I noticed there’s a couple of employees who don’t say hi or acknowledge you at all when you’re at their cash register paying, one of them literally just rings you up, doesn’t smile, looks like he’s not happy at work, doesn’t speak nor greets you, he’s like a robot, if I see him at the cash register, I don’t go to him anymore. Now they hired this other new guy to gather all the shopping carts and clean inside the store…he has the same attitude as the first one ☝?, rude, doesn’t say hi, they both look and act so miserable at work, I wouldn’t be surprise if they’re friends too. Besides these 2 employees, Albertson’s is great and love shopping there.

I bought a Nordstrom's gift card at this Albertsons location and later was informed by my friend that the card had a 0 balance. I went back to the store to report the issue and show proof of purchase and the gave me a number and informed me of their policy which basically claims they will not issue refunds. Don't buy gift cards at this location.

Been shopping here for over 30 years due to the store being close and familiar with the layout. No complaints overall.There are two checkers that I will avoid thier lines. Today both were the only ones working. One is slower than can be, and the other has alway neen rude to me. I will say it was at about 12:45pm and she wears a mask.Without going into details of all the encounters with this rude checker, just want management to know. If it's only me, then shame on me. I have a feeling it isn't just me though.Have you ever had someone yell "Have a nice day" overly loud as you are walking away?It did not make my shopping experience pleasant. Becasue of the past rudeness of this person I regreatfully responded, "screw you".

It's not my favorite. Prices are higher than Ralphs. Bakery items are gross, and Produce is mediocre. But it is 1 block away. I love the staff, so I will up it to 4 stars.

I bought corn, tomatoes, and lobster tails for dinner. Got home home and started preparing the food, the lobster tails were brown and rotting, absolutely DISGUSTING. And the tomatoes were MOLDY. So, for $49 all I got was the corn. Obviously I will never shop there again. GROSS. GROSS. GROSS.

I absolutely love shopping here. I've been coming to this store for a while now. The employees bring me so much enjoyment to my shopping experience. Alberstons has some of the freshest produce I've seen lately and Manny is always so helpful in finding the best items. The front end staff has always been cheery, especially the newer manager Leicey. She's a firecracker that one, excellent move hiring her. Of course nothing is "perfect" though. If there was to anything to complain about; I'd have to say it's the special wine tastings. I always seem to miss them. In fact, about a month ago I saw a gentleman setting up and by the time I made my rounds and headed back over to try something new, he was already breaking down. I couldn't have been in the store more than an hour... but that doesn't necessarily fall on the store. In conclusion - the Laguna Nigel store is my top choice for my grocery needs.
