“The name speaks for itself. We were impressed with the setup displays as we walked in the door and quickly greeted with a hello from behind the counter. Very clean, not thrift store smelly and pleasantly decorated with thrift items. Small men's clothing area but plenty for women. Alot of household items and worth the rummaging for special items. Not a reseller delight and not meant for that purpose. Enjoyed the shop!”

“I saw some negative reviews and I just had to update mine, I am a big fan. I've been going there, the people there are very kind owner couple and several volunteers from a church (I believe), and I have NEVER once felt being treated unkindly or lack of respect by anybody. The items are mostly in great condition and prices are super low, they are clean and organized although I wish they were a little bigger. I find great bargains and always happy to visit them. Inspired store is not a thrift shop I believe, so I don't actually shop there but enjoy visiting here and there. There are always ample parking spots on the backside which is just a few flat steps from the store, I really hope that people start appreciating these business owners that are doing such wonderful job in helping the community and less-fortunate, and return/support in kind.”

“The drop-off center for donations is very convenient and provides you with a tax receipt. The drop-off employee was very nice and super helpful when dropping off my donations. The store has lots to choose from and has great prices and it all goes to a good cause!”

“Not only are the staff extremely helpful and kind, the pricing is kind and there are plenty of treasures to find. There is always an ornate antique piece of furniture, some interesting art, and boutique clothing items. There always seems to be a selection of brand new items as well strategically placed at the front of the store. Seems like red-tagged nick-knacks are always 50%off. Shopping here will result in interesting finds and all for a great cause.”

“I love Laura's House and I love supporting a great organization when I shop. I love both locations, but prefer this one - I always find more stuff to buy here. The girls are always friendly, and I take my donations here as well when they are nicer items. To donate, you go around back and call, and they come out to receive them. This store is always clean and has some fun, and unique items. Always round up on your purchase, its a good cause!”

“They make it so easy at the location in Laguna Niguel parking lot located in the Ziguart Bldg area. Drive up, open car trunk, they will take items for donation. Give you a receipt and off you go. NO hassle, no waiting, just donating to good charity.”

“First time there. STELLAR. Location is tucked away in a strip mall, worth the hunt. Well organized, service was appropriate&mellow, music was good. The SELECTION - better name brands, funky, girly, kind of dark. Mens section was limited but worthwhile. Most everything was $8-10. I may be back tommorrow.”

“I go to this Assistance League for women’s clothing, decor (see photo), and pots for my plants. They also have jewelry, shoes, purses, kids clothing, toys, dinnerware.4/5 stars because the store is small-ish and prices are sometimes $10+ which is a hint expensive for certain secondhand items. But I’ve also seen Anthropologie and originally expensive clothing for like $6 - $12, which I love.”

“The people who work there were GREAT. I was just shopping around getting some bread at the farmers market.I stopped by the thrift store and there was a kind old lady that works there offered me some free bread that was “freshly baked” she said that she saw me riding my electric scooter and gave me a reusable bag to go with it! What an awesome store the prices are more cheap than most thrift stores and this is the one I like the most. I live across the street and this store is a super relevant place to go thrifting. I would give it a 10\5 if I could.”

“I love this place, I was in town for a few days, I went several times and bought a lot of clothes for myself, my son and my hubby. Great selection, good prices, great staff & service. If I lived her I’d shop here all the time. What a great place, a real gem. I highly recommend it.”

“Shhhh!! Do NOT tell anyone about this awesome place! I couldn't believe how many stylie duds I found AND in my size! I'm more a size 5 or 7, but FYI, if you're 'rexic and on a budget, this is your spot - no other thrift store has more couture/top brand size 0's for around $5 I'd like to personally thank the anonymous angel who donated the gorgeous near new cashmere sweaters, Blue Asphalt denim, Roc & Republic jeans, Love Fire moto slacks, Volcom shorts, and Sonük's (like Tom's)!! You rock stylie lady with the mysteriously identical body, wherever you are!! I had to subtract 1for no dressing rooms. So if you check this place out for clothes you'll need to be ok with trying anything on over your clothes in front of anyone walking by. Wear slick yoga pants and flip flops to make it easier. Extra points to the two employees working when I was there. They'd recently changed their store hours but hadn't updated it online so they'd let me stay later in kindness for it.”

“It's a typical thrift - yeah you got to look but I have gotten some cool stuff from here- got a stand up George Forman grill for $40, a lighted herb garden grow kit for $20 couple cool Shirts/skirts- clothes aren't always why I come here . There are some great thrifts in my town - recycle reuse”

“This is one of my favorite thrift/Goodwill stores in the area. It is always well organized, clean, and everything is displayed in a really cute way. They get some great products! I stopped in earlier this evening and found some beautiful cocktail glasses (made in Italy) and a few other home goods. I was assisted by Sandra and Wendy, and they were both super helpful and friendly and made sure my glasses were well protected. Definitely recommend this Goodwill boutique!”

“I came in as they opened at 9am on Wednesday 10-04-2023. Looking for a portable walking cane for my dw. Good news I found exactly what I was looking for and it was brand new. Staff very helpful and friendly. The store was clean and the layout orderly. I will return again.”

“I grew up in this town and AL has, thankfully, been around forever! Always friendly, clean and great items to find! It's a treat that they have a "high end/designer" section where you can really find some goodies! They also put so much energy into restocking the store for every holiday. Need a Christmas or Hanukkah decoration or gift? They have it in time. Thanksgiving? Dishes, placemats etc all for the season. Halloween..it's a must! It's ongoing. The other part I really appreciate is the organized drop off of items donated. I donate throughout the year. There are designated days and times. Easy to pull up and park in the back lot, be greeted by the staff, they take care of you immediately and offer you a receipt for a tax write off if you wish. AL is so different from many of the disappearing Thrift Shops. It is deeply cared for by the residents of Laguna, (hey, it can become a gab fest with old friends you run into) and also by the VOLUNTEERS who donate their time to keep it thriving. Thank you AL !”

“I am a cancer survivor. All the funds go to the Cancer Society and shared among all types of cancer. It is volunteers that do the hard work of sorting what is brought in. I discovered one day when I had dropped off somethings, a man was there, picking up the items the store did not need or want. He was taking them to another place where he said they are checked and sent over seas where needed.”

“This location was well-organized, pretty clean for a thrift store and had a good number of customers combing the racks when we stopped by. There wasn't an overpowering odor that often accompanies thrift stores. I was glad to see that their fitting rooms were actually open which was surprising as many of the SD ones still have theirs locked. Prices are posted clearly. Daily color tag sales. My only complaint was that the racks are a bit too full, which made it difficult to look through the items as sliding them across the hanging bar was impossible. Most items are in decent condition but I don't know why anyone would buy an imitation leather jacket that's obviously peeling like crazy!Checking out was ok. I flashed my coupon to the cashier but as I was leaving, I wasn't sure if the discount had been applied as only the item price was listed an no discount was reflected on the receipt. When I inquired, the cashier told me the price was already discounted (I.e. mental calculation) but at other locations, the discount is usually a line item and obviously listed. This could case some confusion.Ample parking, easy to find, the sign can be seen off the freeway.”

“I come shopping here for baby clothes from time to time and I've been able to find some cute stuff. Some things are a bit overpriced for second hand but they've had a sale every time I've been there that brings items down to a more reasonable amount. It's a good place to go if you're looking for clothes, shoes, or holiday decorations. I wouldn't recommend shopping there for toys because they're all a bit beat up.”
