My experience was both good and not so good. The good was that every month that I called to arrange to pick up my unsold pieces, they offered to keep them for several months longer. The bad side to that was the prices they ultimately sold these pieces for were garage sale type prices for what were higher end items. I received $49 on a custom king size upholstered bed with upholstered side boards and built-in box springs. I was also charged a $120 "professional cleaning fee" without any notice to me (discovered it when deducted from my proceeds) on a bed that had been inspected thoroughly by her team upon drop off, inspected by the buyer upon purchasing, AND inspected prior to transporting to the buyer's home. AFTER it was in the buyer's home, the buyer claimed it was dirty, and because this was a good client of hers, she charged me for the cleaning fee. No discussion, no notice. And when I called to address it with her, she yelled at me and hung up. I tried resolving via email, to which I received no response. I always question business owners who use the opportunity to respond to online reviews when they had plenty of opportunity to address it in private. If it had been, I would never resort to writing this review.

If you want a cold unwelcoming experience this is the place. This is strictly a destination business for folks who pretty much know what they’re looking for. As for a warm greeting and vibe go elsewhere.

Coco is super lovely and very gracious in helping me to find the right small loveseat and writing desk. They also have my white leather couch. I am thinking to return today and check out that loveseat one more time. They have an amazing selection of furniture and art as well. I highly recommend them.

The BEST store when looking for furniture!!My husband and I moved to Irvine and struggled finding quality furniture for good price. We looked all over OC & it was either over priced or too dinged up! The Hunt was our go to shop where we found EVERYTHING we needed (bed frame, end tables, chairs, and vanity). Margret was so sweet and helpful. She even lended us some moving blankets, which we plan to return when we go back next week to buy our end tables!You won’t regret going to look around!

So this business made me write my first-ever review. If you want to pay more than double purchasing off of Amazon's new price for a used version of the same item, this is the place for you. I went into to the shop knowing it was somewhat overpriced-- the price tags for some of the items I saw were inflated compared to other consignment/thrift shops I've been to. So when I decided to purchase this stackable bamboo nightstand, I knew I wasn't getting a deal. I already saw how they hid the nightstand that was in worse shape under the other despite marking it as "gently used". However, I had the expectation that I was only being somewhat ripped off. Like paying full price + 20% for a clearly used item? As luck would have it, I was still looking for more furniture online, and I got recommended the same exact piece I bought that same day! Yeah, as of today, it's $51 dollars new off of Amazon and I paid $139 for a piece that is only in okay shape. Idiot. I went back to the store the next day to get a refund. For the record, there are no signs or notes on the receipt that all signs are final, nor was I told this when I purchased. There are only signs assuring the authenticity of their items, which my experience runs counter to. When I asked the worker there about returns/store credit, he told me that all sales are final at consignment shops. As someone who frequents those kinds of shops, I can tell you that objectively isn't true, and when I pointed that out, he said I could ask the manager for store credit when she's in on Wednesday. He also asked how I can tell it's the same model if the piece of furniture I have doesn't have a model number. I have eyes, and you can also judge from the photos I'm posting. Thinking back now, since he didn't really look at the nightstand I purchased? How did he know it was without a model number, thus making it hard to compare unless you stumbled upon the original like I did? It makes you wonder if this is a common practice at this store. I'm not going back on Wednesday cause obviously even if I get the store credit, I would still be replacing it with something egregiously overpriced. Typing this out is making me feel like a naive fool because there were plenty of signs of untrustworthiness I saw and ignored, but this review is so you don't ignore the voice in your head telling you to get out and spend your money elsewhere! And since the other pair of this item is still in the store, definitely just buy it off of Amazon!

Sorry I have to write this bad review, but I am very disappointed with the service from this store. We bought a cal king headboard/frame (which we overpayed for), rented a uhaul to take it to our house 60 miles away, and when we set it up, the slats were from the wrong bed and didn't fit. The Hunt apologized and said to come and pick up the correct slats. We picked up the 2nd set of slats (inconvenient being 60 miles away), but we had decided we didn't like the bed and put it up for sale, so we never tried the 2nd set of slats. We just sold it for a very reduced price, and when the buyers set it up, the slats didn't fit again! We were totally humiliated! I was ready to make The Hunt buy new ones, but the buyers wound up making their own slats to solve the problem!

Wasn't impressed, a lot of misc items, not great quality and the service has some work. A your ever person was jus to laying in a computer or something and a lady walking around, no one said hi or checked in...wouldn't recommend

I have consigned a number of pieces over the years here and all have sold and rather quickly! I have also bought a number of pieces here as well, fantastic experience both buying and selling! The store always has unique, eclectic pieces for all tastes. Great people working, allowing you to browse and offering great information on pieces of interest, the owner makes it all easy to consign and buy. A must stop if you are looking to redecorate or redesign your place!

This place has something for everyone. Marvelous furniture at great prices. I could spend hours looking at all of theInventory spread out over a 10,000 square foot space. Love it!!!

Margaret and Coco are amazing to work with when you are trying to find something or trying to downsize. Every time I moved I have put my items on consignment with The Hunt. Margaret is extremely experienced. Knows exactly what will sell and what will not and how to price each item just right so it's in the sweet spot that will make a sell which will be a win win for each party involved. Since I found The Hunt, I have never gone anywhere else. I have had multiple moves and also had to source for staging etc. It's completely hassle free and I trust them 100%. Highly highly recommend them.
