Good store. Staff usually pretty quick. Helpful staff. Only downside is lack of selection. In sum: Tustin has better selection, LH has better service.

I have an account at REI. My name is Michelle. I'm there all the time. I spent a lot of money at that store. The cashier yesterday wouldn't open the register enough to get the money out. He was struggling in and I said is your register broken like he was covering the money like I was gonna steal, made me feel really bad and uncomfortable. I don't know if it's my tattoos. I don't know what it is, but I don't care to retrieve that way ever again and if it happens again, I will never go to aria thank you very.

Retailer carrying accessories, gear, and apparel for outdoor recreation. Fair amount of parking available in the shared plaza parking lot, but it's kind of an odd spot for an REI location.
Prices are outrageous. REI has always been pricey but I feel like I've been out priced and can no longer shop here.

Would have been nice to know you weren’t open today. We and many other people I saw in the parking lot drove all the way over here because Google Maps says you are open. Can you not update your hours on Google Maps like every other store does? Spent 5 minutes in your parking lot and saw many people like me who were expecting you to be open.

It’s a Co-Op and you can become a member for $30 bucks.
The salespeople were great and very helpful. They pulled sleeping bags down and made sure they fit us… I mean, set it up and encouraged us to climb in and test it out !!

I like REI, but I need to call them out on a bad business practice. They had signs up throughout the shoe section stating 20% off for members for a limited time (see photo). During checkout, they explained that it didn't apply to my shoes. They explained they keep the exclusion list up front for the employees, but admitted it's not visible to customers. I explained this was not legal (California Business and Professions Code (BPC) Section 17500 prohibits misleading statements, and putting "Exclusions Apply" in the fine print doesn't make it all right). The manager said she couldn't do anything about it. Boo! I still bought the shoes, but it was $30 more than what they had led us to believe.

I personally love REI, it’s competitive pricing, top notch customer service and amazing product variety , this one star review is solely goes to MIGUEL, the assistant manager who definitely doesn’t fit the position and the store. Lack of communication skills, rudeness, anger and delivering false information on REI policies are just a few to mention, this guy only deserves to be a door man or wipe out dirty floors. Shame on you MIGUEL, you don’t deserve to be working at such an amazing entity.

I been shopping from REI more than 25 years. Never had any problem or bad experiences. Very friendly staff, up to one year product return policy, top equipment for outdoor activities, compatible prices. Try it out you won’t be disappointed

Miguel at the bike repair shop was so incredibly helpful. He was super knowledgeable about road bikes and I was able to ask him a lot of questions about what type of bike pump to buy. Thank you Miguel for all the help!

The place is clean and the employees are very helpful. The area is very wheelchair accessible and there are many places to park.
