I was in the market for a good quality bed. I wanted a bed that I could get a good night sleep. I looked at several places in south orange county. I went to all of them but I did not get the help I needed to make my decision. I was frustrated. Then I went into Ortho Mattress at 23451 Avenida De La Carlota, and walked in and I felt this was the right place. It is a huge store. Almost as big as a football field. Lots of beds. Then I met Ella the salesperson. What a wonderful lady. She was so knowledgeable and patient. There were 2 elderly lady's ahead of me and she sold them a bed and they were so happy. I told her what I was looking for and she showed me several different brand name beds with different names and let me try them all. She did not try to sell me. She let the beds sell me. . Ella was not pushy at all. She let me go back and forth as many times as I needed. I finally made the choice. I am so happy , it felt right and I sleep like a baby. I feel so fortunate and grateful to meet Ella. She is the best. When I buy my next bed I am going to see Ella at Ortho.

The Quality of the Mattresses & Sheer # of Selections is GREAT! OUTSTANDING Customer Service & Very Professional! When we realized later we needed a Box Spring (due to an error on our part), despite the Sales Associate asking a few times to which we confirmed, we notified Ortho Mattress of the need for a Box Spring & were able to make the purchase w/ the delivery charge waived! EXCELLENT Communication w/ regards to delivery & On-Time Arrival. Thank You!

Ortho makes buying a good quality mattress easy. They offer high, medium, and low cost models and they allow you and your back to be the judge. No hard sell, no trick offers, just good products. Quite frankly I never thought I'd be buying a mattress that cost over $4000. I simply decided that my back was worth it. Just four years ago I had bought a Chinese made mattress from a local store called Discount Mattress Lady. They sold me a foundation and a mattress that lasted about a month. I had them come remove the defective mattress and they replaced it with a higher end model from M Lily that soon began to break down as well. I probably would have gotten rid of this piece of junk had it not been for the recent pandemic. With the end of the pandemic and my screaming back, I marched into my local Ortho store and bit the bullet on an Aireloom mattress. No unwrapping a box and unraveling a mattress that slowly blows itself up into shape. Just a really well made product that looks and feels like quality. My thanks to Derrick and Ella at the Laguna Hills Ortho store for their painless solution to my sore back! Update: after three weeks I found the new Aireloom mattress uncomfortable due to the many tufts and buttons on the mattress top. After speaking to a store representative I obtained a mattress topper which seems to have solved the problem.

I find it necessary to share my recent frustrating experience with Ortho Mattress and their warranty service, in the hopes that others can make a more informed decision before purchasing from this company.I bought a mattress and bed frame from Ortho Mattress and, unfortunately, the bed frame broke within the warranty period. Naturally, I contacted the company for a resolution, but was taken aback when I was charged $60 for an inspection of the faulty frame. A cost I was never informed of and one I believed would be covered under the warranty. The disappointment continued as I was later notified that I would be required to pay an additional $99.99 for the delivery and installation of the repair part. I was stunned. I had naively thought that the purpose of a warranty was to safeguard customers from such unforeseen costs. These charges feel like hidden traps, strategically placed to extract more money from customers post-sale. I have been left feeling scammed and disregarded as a customer. The sum of my experience is this: I am essentially being asked to pay again for a product that should have been built to last in the first place. This so-called warranty seems to be a ruse rather than a service intended to protect the consumer.I urge anyone considering a purchase from Ortho Mattress to be aware of these potential hidden costs. It is my belief that there are other mattress companies out there that offer not only high-quality products but also genuinely care about their customers and uphold the true meaning of a product warranty.Sadly, I cannot recommend Ortho Mattress. The initial quality of the mattress was satisfactory, but the after-sale service has been nothing short of disappointing. This experience has left me with a sense of regret and I hope that my review can help prevent similar experiences for others.Ortho Mattress, I sincerely implore you to reconsider your warranty terms and the manner in which you handle post-sale service. A good product is not just about comfort and durability, it's about customer service and trust.

Our search for new mattresses brought us back to this store. We had purchased here several years ago and remembered they'd had a good selection. Ella greeted us and was very helpful in helping us with our purchase. She took the time to explain the differences in the models, their advantages and specifics. She also checked to see what was actually available and if it was on sale or discounted. No pressure, just good interaction and easy conversation. Ultimately she found exactly what we needed and at a very reasonable price. Wonderful experience--thank you again Ella.

I purchased a wood frame and a mattress, full size, both. the customer service was good in the store, but when they were delivered, the mattress was too short and narrow for the frame. I asked for help with that, and Cliff was nice enough to send people over to change the mattress, however the two were obnoxious and loud and they told me the mattress they are delivering is just the same size. so I asked them to leave without changing it.the people who deliver for your company are awfully rude and loud and somehow scary. AND I AM LEFT WITH A MATTRESS WHICH IS NOT THE SAME SIZE AS THE BED.

I would have given no stars. I worked with Cliff who when I walked in asked for the upcoming Memorial Day sale mattresses and that I had a painful back pain. Obviously, a warranty would be important if I had to exchange it. He told me I could get the best mattress in the store for half price. He neglected to tell me that it was a floor clearance mattress which meant I could not return it. He absolutely wanted to get rid of this mattress. When I tried to walk out he told me I will never find a better value anywhere.when I asked him how long it was on the floor he said about six months. I later found out it had been there all during COVID and 2 years. He told me he arranged finances for under $88 a month again the bank told me it was for over $100 a month. I have not been able to sleep on this mattress as it is the most uncomfortable one ever and now I’m out $2600 and can’t use it. When I spoke to Cliff he said I don’t feel sorry at all. The costliest mistake and most unprofessional behavior.

Buyers beware... if your Ortho Mattress qualifies for replacement under warranty, they will charge you MSRP for the new mattress (in our case, $500 over the store price), while also charging you $60 for the inspection fee and $99 for the delivery. This is our second time within a year getting our daughter's mattress replaced. She's barely 50 lbs and we got the first mattress replaced within 2 months of us receiving it due to sagging. Warranty covers 1 inch or more of sagging, and within 2 months, the inspection report showed the sagging was at 1.75" already. We thought maybe we got a defective mattress, and opted to get the same kind again. Not defective, just a poor quality mattress that feels nothing like it does in the store. Now we are dealing with their warranty department, they couldn't be more rude and will not honor store pricing for our exchange.

Please consider this store for your bed purchases. This location is family-owned and it shows. There's no high-pressure sales people. It's just a comfortable place to get the best deal possible with a high-quality selection. I'd like to commend Cliff in particular, as he was patient and highly professional. Thank you!!

We went to several places and made our final decision on this place because it offered all the bells and whistles and promos we wanted. If you come here look for Cliff.

Not sure how they got so many 5 stars but here's my experience and what I've learned from my purchase here. Came in looking for a quality bed. I figured Ortho has been around for a long time so they must have decent beds. I wanted a medium-firm to firm bed. After talking to the manager he showed me some beds and I was drawn to their in-house Ortho beds made in the USA (Arizona to be exact). The one I liked wasn't cheap but it wasn't the most expensive either - it was about $2,000. It was the medium-firm one. The manager informed me that they were having a promo including free delivery. If for any reason I was unhappy I could exchange the bed out for another bed within 90 days of my purchase. The only fee would be a $100 charge for them to dispose of my bed. He ended with "I'm not sure these beds will be on sale much longer though." That comment should have been my red flag but I told him I'd think about it and get back to him anyways. The next day I decided to go forward with the purchase and called to make sure they were still having the promo. He said yes they were and he offered to take the order over the phone to "save" me the hassle of coming in. I agreed and made the purchase over the phone. He then proceeded to tell me that they could have the bed to me in 2 days! That was amazing! Bed arrives and their delivery people were pretty snobby with their greeting of "We have your bed where do you want it?" No introduction and an attitude like they were doing me a favor by delivering the bed. Later that night I laid down on the bed and immediately it sank. I remembered the manager saying not to worry because these beds redistribute my weight after I lay down flat. That night I had sleep worse than on my old bed. I tried it out for another couple of nights and it was horrible. I called the manager to tell him my experience and he said "well, normally we ask you to wait 30 days before you request an exchange but come on in tomorrow and we'll see what we can do for you". It wasn't even closing time but he wanted me to come in tomorrow? I came in the next day and someone else was working. Oddly, the manager had the day off. The guy working was nice enough even though he already had customers he was helping. I told him my situation and he had me try out some beds to see what I'd want to replace it with. I laid down on the bed I had chosen and it was completely different. This showroom one was medium-firm just like I had wanted. I let the staff member know that I think my bed was defective and after some explaining he agreed to try and get me a replacement for a defective bed (no charge). That sounded great! He told me he'd call me tomorrow after talking to the warranty department and let me know what happens. The next day I got a call/voicemail saying that they would be replacing my bed but if this didn't work then I needed to use my one-time exchange. The manager had never mentioned it was a one-time exchange. He made it sound like I could exchange out until I found the right bed so long as I paid the $100 disposal fee. At the end of the voicemail he let me know that the delivery was scheduled for 2 weeks out. Being that COVID was still pretty strong I just figured they were backlogged. After more than a week of bearing through the "defective" bed and thinking about my situation, it occurred to me that it was weird how my initial purchase 2 weeks earlier came in 2 days but then less than a week later it now took 2 weeks to arrive? I can't help but wonder if they intentionally extended the delivery just to make me keep the bed longer? Maybe they get penalized for switching out beds too soon? Moving on, the bed arrives and just like the first delivery the team was not very friendly. I opened the door and the first words were - "Yeah we got your replacement here". They bring the bed to the room and all seems well. The bed seemed much better this time. Unfortunately, after about 4-5 days it began sinking again

Awful service. I came in to get information on warranty, but ended up leaving and walking a cross the street to Seat n Sleep, and made a purchase there. Never again with this place: rude, dirty, unorganized, and lacking personnel and basic customer service skills.
