This year we finally went to the pageant of the masters. The best part of the experience was the festival of artists showing their work. We found Troells jewelry display. I was instantly attracted to a particular ring. I was allowed to take some photos of it. I found I couldn't stop going back to the photos. A few weeks later we called and made arrangements to go to his store to see it again. He was so nice and explained all about the diamond, etc. He sized it for me while we went for lunch and shopped a bit. I am so happy with Troells creation. It just feels like it has always been my ring. It's simple lines, low profile and chunky square shape are perfect to display the diamond. Just amazing.

Troels Larsen’s work is stunning. I saw and purchased the green with a slight teal tourmaline ring before the start of the Pageant of the Masters. This piece is a mesmerizing eye catcher. I went back after the show and got the green tourmaline necklace similar in design. He sized the ring and fitted the necklace and I picked it up yesterday. Amazing!

Laguna Beach is a special place for my husband and me. We were just there on our first outing since being in "lockdown." The highlight of our visit was to stop in to see the jewelry that Troels Larsen makes. I have two stunning rings from his hands already. When we walked in, we were so happy that the artist and creater was there! And then we looked at am amazing pendant with carved lapis wings, a body of faceted fire opal, and antenna tipped with pink spinels. It is suspended on a delicate 18k chain. My husband and I both fell in love with it, and felt it was an art piece worthy of a museum placement. So of course we bought it!! And the visit with Troels was so pleasant and mellow. He is our favorite jeweler, and we were lucky to find him: a true artist.

I purchased a Jacobus Goldsmiths engagement ring over 43 yrs ago -- in the same location. We needed to adjust the size for aging hands. Troels recognized the ring immediately and made the adjustment while we shopped. He could not have been nicer and more accommodating. We'll be back to look at some of his jewelry for Christmas. We started at Troels Larsen at Jacobus Goldsmiths because a friends mom recommended them to us. 25 years ago we purchased our wedding rings there. Since then anniversary, baby celebration, graduation and just because gifts have had us returning.

Troels has made many pieces of jewelry for me and I have been more than satisfied with his work. He is a talented goldsmith who makes all his pieces by hand and they are one of a kind. It is fun to work with him plus he is honest to a fault. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a beautiful addition to their collection.

Emma walked me through the entire process, including getting more info on diamonds and lab vs mined and sending me numerous options for the cut I wanted. My husband & I accidentally bumped into this fine jeweler (aka Troels Larsen) when we went to the Laguna Beach Sawdust festival a few years ago. The design & quality of both stones, craftsmanship's impeccable. My husband has since been purchasing all my jewelries (earrings, necklaces, bracelets & most recently a ring) from them & each one's a work of art and unique unlike others out there. You can be assured you have a great piece of jewelry. As they say, you get what you pay for.

Troels Larsen is the goldsmith and designer for the last 15+ years. Jacobus did design jewelry but became a painter. Troels has won awards for his designs and does an outstanding job. He usually will be at the Laguna Beach Art Festival in the summer months. He will custom make items and his own designs are very different a very beautiful. Here is a link to his website
