This place is amazing! Such a cute little boutique hidden in the alley way. Very classy. Great selection of Jellycats and children's books. Fun little gifts for everyone. Nice selection of clothing as well. I'll be back.

This place sells cute kid stuffed animals and books but doesn’t allow kids to touch them. Seems backwards to me. My baby, who just started walking, waddled into the store and started touching the stuffed animals. I was right behind him and he was totally fine, just being a baby and the associate snapped at me and said “You really need to watch him, he can’t be running around touching everything. The store owner is watching and just called and said he can’t be in here.” What a shame because I was actually about to buy something for him too but instead grabbed him and got out of there. I realize he’s a handful, he’s a BABY! I’m doing my best to be patient with him and also respectful of the store. He did knock over a basket of tiny stuffed animals and I immediately picked it up and apologized. I’m doing my best over here, you don’t have to shame me over my waddling baby who’s just touching the things that entice him….KIDS TOYS! Don’t sell them if you don’t want kids touching them!

Love this little store in my neighborhood. Very reasonable prices for unique things: example like precious butterfly hair clips for little girls, tasteful women's clothing, etc. One strange thing though: the storekeeper follows you closely and if you've touched anything -- and I mean anything -- she rearranges what you've touched. Chilling.

Unfortunately hidden from the street, across the breezeway from the gelato shop is this treasure trove of boho chic and cali-basic Women's wear. Prices are reasonable and there's quite a bit to look at for so small a shop. What Smitten excels at is providing a curated selection of tops, bottoms, and dresses that pop, which is what we want from a good boutique. It's not a huge inventory, but everything is *so great*. Between two visits to Laguna, we have brought home 10 items from Smitten, all of which draw frequent complements. Just inside the doorway is a spot to leave your gelato cones, convenient for mid-dessert browsing. Highly recommended!

Like others mentioned - the lady working there is the most rude a** lady I've ever come across. She got all huffing and puffing when my mom wanted to try on some hats. Pathetic.
