Great location and pretty venue. Staff was kind, though scattered. Bathrooms were unimpressive and venue sporadically smelled of sewage...

DO NOT GET THE FOOD STATIONS FOR YOUR WEDDING/EVENT!!
I had my wedding here this past April 2023, this would have absolutely been a 5 star review if it wasn’t for the venue running out of food. Half of my 130 guest count did not get to eat. Luckily, we last minute added on grilled cheese for the end of the night and the kitchen had to bring those out at dinner time due to them running out of food. Unless they change the food stations to having workers serve and it not being self serve, do not go that route for the food to save you the embarrassment.
Other than that, I received many compliments on how beautiful the venue was.

We have photographed many weddings at Seven 7 Seven over the years and it is always a delight to come back. Nestled at the bottom of the hills in Laguna, the venue has great light at any point of the day. It is nice that both the bride and the groom have their own getting ready areas, and both spots photograph well for that portion of the day. The ceremony site has a huge beautiful backdrop of trees and the pond and has many different spots that the photographer can go without being in the way of guests. It is a beautiful venue! ig @_themcfarlands_

Bad food and terrible service. Took over one hour for a burger that was terrible once it arrived.

Not only did they take a whole hour to deliver one hamburger, they literally asked us to leave when we complained about the wait. The cook is an a**hole.Food was not even good and over-cooked.

Everything was great. The place is beautiful. Until the buffet. Three tables did not get to eat. They ran out of food. We kept this from the wedding couple. This was on Friday the 14th. I talked to the staff and this is a recurring concern.

Went to a wedding here. The place on the outside is nothing like the inside. Very deceiving. You drive by and say: "their having a wedding here"?Then you walk inside and say: "OMG what a lovely venue for a wedding".

We had a rough start due to management changes, but they absolutely nailed it when it came time! Our coordinators, Ashley and Katie, did so well that, even a week after the event, my wife and I are still receiving messages from guest saying how perfect everything went. Everything was perfect, and we highly recommended this venue. Ten stars!

This is a beautiful venue and we had a lovely wedding here this weekend. One word of advice if you're planning a wedding or event, make sure that you get a guarantee on the number of bartenders per person. We had 160 people and only two bartenders for a full premium bar. There were lines and the venue didn't put the premium up until after one hour. This is something the wedding planner needs to take care of the day before. The general rule is one bartender per 50 people for a full bar. After complaining our wedding planner was smart enough to ask them to pour wine and pass glasses of wine to cut down on the lines. Also the venue closed the bar for certain part of the event which wasn't necessary. They also didn't serve all the passed hors d'oeuvres and the kitchen staff wound up having a nice treat. Otherwise it was superb and the food was delicious. Just a little advanced planning and being aware of the possible issues will make this venue a perfect place.

While we originally felt great about this business due to the grounds and the people, we later found it necessary to cancel our contract and take the loss of thousands of dollars because we just didn't trust them and they changed so many things that our event would have cost more than double what we contracted for. They did not respond in a timely manner and required follow up and even then did not respond to all the questions discussed. The business voice mail changed to someone's personal phone. The ownership was in the news for legal and financial difficulties that included default on large contracts and they do not seem to a stable and reliable business which is not what we wanted for our wedding. While I understand that many businesses like this have come into financial difficulty from Covid, I also found that they were not honest and the revised contract they sent was just beyond unacceptable. To summarize, the venue is lovely but the people who run it now are not pleasant to deal with, and give the impression of being all about the money without concern for the customer experience. The contract I received basically allows them to change most anything including food and drinks without notice or penalty and puts more extreme financial penalties on the customer than any other similar business I have looked at and they want more money mischief earlier than the several other wedding venues. In my opinion, a contract should outline what each party is responsible for and be fair and reasonable. They no longer offer most of what we planned for. I had my wedding completely planned but Covid changed many things and when I called to discuss our upcoming wedding, I was informed that they would not offer what they previously agreed to. So while my financial terms still applied, I would have had to start over planning many aspects of the wedding and come up with double the money we planned for based on our original contract. We decided to let go of the deposit and plan a wedding with a venue that we felt better about , that we did not worry would be out of business when our wedding came and would be more enjoyable to deal with. It turns out that there are many options for a wedding venue at that pricing that are far more pleasant to deal with. Sadly, I can not recommend this business.
