We purchased a Ocean Apple and a milk sea salt caramel apple today. The caramel was soft and seemed like a cheap jar of caramel sauce, not good caramel. Plus the milk sea salt Apple had the thinnest layer of caramel, whomever made this apple loaded the stem with caramel to make it look like it had a nice amount of caramel. . We had these same Apples last week up at the Rocky Mountain Chocolate factory in Mammoth and loved them. Unfortunately the Laguna caramel apples just weren't very good and were overpriced for what you get.

They had ice cream. I got a cup equal to a scoop and a half. It's Laguna priced at $6.95 for a scoop. The people here are fantastic. Great, great customer service.

Amazing chocolate and great customer service! I went in looking for seafoam and they had them but I walked out with more than I needed. Oops! Went in when Kayla was working and she was very sweet and extremely helpful. We asked her to wrap our apples to which she put pretty bows on them and answered all our questions with no problem. Will definitely come back to get more.

My kids and me love this place. Each time we go to Laguna beach we have to pick up some chocolate, always fresh and yummy. The best part when we watch them cook the fudge. Plus the staff is friendly and great with dealing with kids

They are not not careful about the perishable produce. Please see picture of molded strawberry covered in chocolate. For the sake of your and your family’s health, please stay away from this place.

Everything in the store looks old and dirty. We bought an apple and thought it tasted too sour. We then opened it up and saw the mold.

Very nice cute clean version is this chain store favorite. Easily accessible on the strip and well stocked with all the regular options. Definitely a place to get your chocolate sweet tooth on.

The caramel apple was not that good. For $10-$11 an apple I expected better quality caramel that actually sticks to the apple. It seemed like cheap caramel that you buy at the grocery store. The snickers candy apple was decent, but don't get the only caramel apples. Had better candy apples at big bear.

This place holds a very sweet memory for my hubby and I. Over 30 yrs ago, while dating, we came into this shop. He had bought us a large chocolate covered strawberry. It was summer and the sidewalks were thick with tourist. We happily walked out of the shop with our strawberry and into a flurry of people walking in either direction. Just as we turned right, a little boy, about 5 or 6 yrs old, suddenly appeared right in front of my then boyfriend. This cute blond haired boy had passed us by, got away from his mom and made an immediate u-turn and bee line straight to the man with the strawberry and stopped in his tracks. With big wide eyes and folded hands he lifted himself on his tippy toes and staring at the strawberry said "Ooooohhh can I have some?" My boyfriend was caught completely off guard by the whole situation- the flurry of people and the stillness of this pleading, sweet boy. My then boyfriend, registering what was happening, looked longingly at his strawberry and then slowly at the boy and as he was lowering it to the boy to give him a bite, said, "Oh, ok." Suddenly, out of no where mom shows up and asks in disbelief, "what did he (her son) say?" It was like being snapped out of a slow motion dream. We told her what her boy asked and she thanked us and told her son no as she took him by the hand and off they disappeared amongst the throngs of people. Needless to say, I fell more in love with my boyfriend because he was willing to give up that strawberry for a little boy he didn't know. We just celebrated our 32nd anniversary and we went back to this store to get some chocolates. No strawberries as they are out of season. And the streets were not as crowded as its January. This time we had our 20 something yr old son of our own with us and had a great time sharing with him our story from decades ago that is still so vividly clear in both my hubby and my minds. That story makes us laugh each time we've told it over the years. Walking inside gave us a nice feeling. The young lady who helped us was nice and had no idea, of course, what a special visit it was for us. FYI, the place was clean and fully stocked with all kinds of goodies. Can't wait to comeback again some day.
