Prices higher than the liquor stores in town on many items and some of the rudest staff you will encounter. Nasty bathrooms.....poor selection. With Pacillions closing and the loss of Gelsons they have little reason to change.

This store is more like a glorified neighborhood convenience store.
It's in a great location but it's so small that it struggles to offer true grocery store options, except for a decent selection of alcohol??
I'm frequently so disappointed with the lack of inventory and grocery items. They also do not have a lotto machine or clerk that can issue tickets ?

I have been coming to this Ralph's since I was a kid because I live up the street and never have I felt so disrespect by their staff. I came in 03/29/23 around 6:30pm. Usual Friday evening rush but nothing crazy. I was in cashier Nico's line and there was a customer in front of me. Once Nico had finished scanning the last of that customers items, I went to grab the lane divider to place it behind my items and to my disbelief, he gave me eye contact and yanked it from my hand, legit yanked it from my hand like I was stealing his damn wallet or something. I was purchasing alcohol and he raised his voiced demanding to see my drivers license. When I extended my hand to give him my drivers license, he yanked it out of my hand and dramatized the entire situation by placing it towards the ceiling in attempts to ensure it was real? Are you not able to read a DOB or scan it? You really have to dramatize the situation? After he "analyzed" it for what seemed like a minute, he threw it on the counter. The drivers license literally bounced and almost slid off the counter. Why did you have to be so rude. I literally had 3 items and there was one more customer behind me. The lady bagging items was extremely sweet and was a witness to his behavior. I will be placing a formal complaint as this is ridiculous. Sorry you hate your job, Nico but this isn't how you treat customers. Sincerely, a customer who also worked, and managed in retail all through college.

Ralph’s Fresh Fare sets just off Pacific Coast Highway in Laguna Beach California.The building is clean and well lit inside. The staff is always friendly and helpful. It carries name brand products at competitive prices. Produce , Dairy and Meat are fresh and have good selection.Parking is a bit tight but it does have handicap parking and handicap accessible doors.

Christy and Mr. Grumpy need to find new jobs. Let's toss dairy boy in there too. He gets angry when you try to make your way by his many boxes that he is loading into the yogurt, cheese fridge. Go home. They are never happy. Christy works on Saturdays when it is very busy and could not be more rude. The older grumpy dude doesn't wear a name tag, but you will recognize him when you see his mean face, no eye contact and moping walk. Get it together Ralph's. Your workers are rude.

I shop here only because it's convenient. I don't understand why there is one cashier lane and other employees standing around directing you to self check out when the store can easily open another line. Even still, I prefer waiting in line and skip self checkout - dirty screens, employees hovering (while the customer does their job), waiting for bag, etc. Employees are going to lose jobs if self-checkout becomes the only option:-( Moving forward, I'm shopping elsewhere.
