“I popped into Comic Quest last night on a whim, wanting to dive back into Magic: The Gathering after a long hiatus since high school. I wasn’t quite sure what to expect, but let me tell you, I left super impressed!
From the moment I walked in, the staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful. They took the time to explain how the game has evolved over the years, which was a lifesaver since I was pretty rusty. They also filled me in on an upcoming pre-release event – sounds like a blast, and I’m definitely considering joining!
What really stood out was how patient and enthusiastic they were. They gave me some solid tips on how to get back up to speed, which made the whole process a lot less intimidating. Plus, they recommended a starter kit that I ended up purchasing, and it’s been great for getting back into the game.
Overall, I had an awesome experience at Comic Quest and I definitely recommend them!”
“This place is great! I can't believe how much memorabilia they have. Stan the owner was very helpful and knowledgeable. He even gave my son a Troy Gloss baseball card for free. I definitely recommend!”
“Not only is it a safe and inviting store. They also have the best prices and give the best offers Compared to every other Coin and Jewelry exchange store in Orange County. You're likely to get 25-50% less at other stores. Christiasn is just a stand-up guy!”
“This place is unbelievable! The owner cares so much about the work he creates because it's his name on anything going out so he wants nothing but the best. I highly recommend this place.”
“Love love love Somerset Studio. Have considered a number of their other magazines as well. It's been very inspirational for me as a mixed media artist.Just recently I sent in a small artwork for consideration in one of their issues. Will see how that goes.Excellent magazine if you love arts and crafts!”
“As always it was a great trip to treasure chest collectibles:) Picked up some singles and a Arceus Figure Collection Box for the cosmic eclipse pack at a Great Price as well! I was planing to look for the new crimson haze singles but while i was looking, the owner gave me a pack to open and i pulled the lana's assistance SAR from it :D Such a nice place from vintage to modern pokemon cards. If you haven't already, go check this place out! Have a Great Day!”
“I love this store and Lisa is very help full and nice. And for that remark 3 months ago taking care of yourself and helping your family should always come first.”
“The new interim store manager (Evan) is very friendly, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic about introducing this incredible hobby to anyone who walks into the store. Great location, and I can’t wait to visit again.”

“I’ve gone into this Michael’s many times, but had a really great experience last week. I bought a ton of frames and Vitna helped me bag each one which made my trip to the car so much easier. Without her help it would’ve been very difficult and she even offered to carry them out to the car with me. Thank you, it was overall great and they had everything I needed.”

“This place is the reason why my jewelry making skills have skyrocketed. I can spend all day in here, I'm so sorry if I only buy a few things but I just can't help but stare and touch all of those BEAUTIFUL stones!! I've learned so much about different semi precious gems through this store, as the woman who owns it has an insane collection of strands of things you've never even seen before! And i can't help but notice she has different strands of things, even the same beads, every time I visit. Speaking of this woman, who I'm assuming is the owner, she is a pleasant, beautiful woman who knows her craft VERY well. I love it here. I wish I could go here every single day. As soon as I hit the lottery or something, this is my first stop!!! I love you OC Beads! I do splurge sometimes so here are some of the gorgeous stones I've bought from here. There's laramar, Morganite, blue Moonstone (expensive but worth every penny), pink opals, LOTS of rhodonite (my favorite) and various pendants. I really really love this store very much!”
“I needed some jewelry appraised for an estate. Steven was fantastic. Appraised multiple pieces in a timely manner and provided in-depth explanations for his assessments. Will visit again for my appraisal needs.”
“Great little store with very accommodating staff! The plushes are on the pricy side, much cheaper to buy it online or in stores like Target. But the variety is great and the overall vibe is a 10/10”
“Hobby Lobby is the epitome of a well set up and managed store. They a clean, well kept up, organized store with tons of good quality stuff. They are larger than most other stores and have mostly everything you could ever need. Maybe the best part of the store is two things, 1 they have mostly everything you could need for any hobby. And two they do holiday decorations like no other. Almost no one can touch their Christmas selections. That is their super power.
And it’ll you want to decorate rooms with wall art and decorations, they rock that too.
I can say there are specialty stores that can offer more for example, art supplies are owned by Art Supply Warehouse or models at Brookhurst Hobbies. But they are far away and that’s all they specialize in. No Hobby Lobby is everywhere, convenient, and has almost everything you could need for almost every hobby there is. And you can decorate any room is almost any style.”
“I love the repertoire of merchandise they have, there is a wide variety of departments with good options at very good prices and their holiday offers are incredible”
“I’m writing this because somebody said the “old man will try to rip you off”. That is not true at all. Coast Philatelics is one of the few old-school stamp collector stores. It’s a family-run shop, and they’ve have been in business since the late 70s, I think. He sells everything cheap because the stamp collecting world has gone downhill. There just aren’t as many stamp collectors as there used to be. I love this place, it’s a little hole in the wall that’s floor to ceiling with stamps, accessories, unique pieces, and collectible paper. There used to be a lot of places like this back in the 80s, but this is one of the last. It’s worth your time to go in. (The shop is open limited hours, as the owner takes care of his health concerns.)”

“GREAT EXPERIENCE!We were so pleased with our recent experience with Tami at the London Coin Galleries in Newport Beach. She was knowledgeable and friendly, and was happy to answer any questions we had thoroughly and completely. It was obvious that she was a professional, competent businesswoman, and we would recommend her to anyone wanting to sell good-quality gold items or coins. The gallery itself is lovely, with many interesting and unusual pieces. We would definitely come back.”
“Been here a few times and the shop owners always greet me like family. I can never walk away without buying anything from this shop. Prices are really fair and they have a wide selection for retail rippers.”
“Drove from Apple Valley and stumbled across this store by accident. I visited on Thursday, April 27 2023 well after 11am. The sign said closed and the store was dark inside. 4 stars for tardiness. Once I'm able to go inside to shop, I will update my rating.”
“I’m from NY and have visited this shop while visiting a friend who has moved out here. Of the two times I’ve visited I can tell the owners are passionate about gaming. Magic and Monsters has loads of singles, booster boxes, accessories, and collectibles for all the top games ( magic, yugioh, pokemon) the store is kept clean and doesn’t reek of nerd BO I’ve been all too familiar of smelling at other stores over the years. The owners were also robbed and still keep up a friendly positive attitude which I commend them for. Tournament prizing and sign-up prices are standard. Singles prices are also competitive with TCG Player . Good store for a visitor. Can’t speak on if it’s the same experience consistently however.”
“This store is always very organized & the staff is very helpful. Jake, especially, is very professional & takes the "extra step" to assist customers.
Great customer service!”
“Michael’s as a corporation and company is nosediving, but at least the employees here are great, earnest people just trying to help artists and crafters create.
PS CHANDLER IS GREAT”
“small art store with an unmatched & unique collection of supplies. every time i come here i find something ive never seen before, at a great price! love this place”
