I wanted to support a local store and intended on buying fun baby clothes in sizes 9m, 12m and 24m for our friend’s new baby. The sales clerk greeted me from behind the counter as she sat and looked at her phone. Not once did she offer to help. I don’t think she even looked up at me. Why would I drop $250 at a store that didn’t care about their customers, especially when the inventory is nothing special for the price?

Quite expensive, most clothes not functional for real children (buttons up the back where they can’t reach?). Nothing gender neutral or inclusive/adaptive. Whoever was working didn’t look up once to say hello and was on the phone discussing personal issues the whole time. Meh.

Wonderful wonderful wonderful local Lafayette shop that has an amazing selection for your little one!!! An absolutely gem with a wonderful selection ... especially of stuffed animals from Slumber Kins and an awesome and helpful staff!!!

This place has the CUTEST clothes, accessories, and gifts for babies and kiddos. Nice to find special, unique items and be able to get them in person, without ordering online and waiting.

Such an amazing store with incredible customer service. When I wasn't ready to return to I'm person shopping, it was no problem for the shop! I emailed my kids' sizes, was sent photos of beautiful outfits to select from, and then picked up summer clothes curbside. The outfits are just darling and combinations I would not have put together myself. So grateful to have this treasure in our community!

I am so happy my mom suggested that I go to Whimsy Kidz in Lafayette! 3 weeks ago I had my daughter. She was 3 weeks early. Since we wanted to be surprised of her gender we didn’t have any gender specific clothing let alone clothes a preemie could wear. I was unhappy with the limited selection Nordstrom had. Whimsy kidz has a huge inventory of super soft and adorable clothes for babies and kids. I love the Euro flair! I will definitely be back as she grows and gets bigger.

Great store and a fantastic selection of unique baby, infant, toddler and kids clothes.We bought the cutest Dress and Grey Fox sweater for our niece - she LOVED them!We need to support this local store!

Such a darling little store! Has the best selection for unique girl accessories. The owner was super helpful and friendly, too. (Which was a stark contrast to the grumpy and rude woman next door at Elmwood Stationers-yikes!!) Bonus points: the fluffy shop cat. I'll definitely be back.

Seriously the cutest shop for kids! I love that they are a small local store that we need to keep in business! They go above and beyond to find what you need. Excellent service excellent quality!! My go to for gifts and dress up!

Lovely clothes. High-end and pricey but many of them you can't find anywhere else. However, they have two long-haired cats who were laying on the clothes displays. WHAT?!? I have cat allergies and had to use an inhaler after leaving the store. If you don't mind long cat hair on new clothes it's a great spot

There was an item in the store for one price and then i went up to the counter amd she demanded another price. The owner is a bit nasty and lacks social skills.

The clothing is beautiful. Super cute. AND, I lost my iPhone, they found it and called me so they get 5 stars for being REALLY great people!!!
