Wow, very mixed reviews of this location on here. However, my personal experience at this Walgreens has been nothing but positive. The staff here have been extraordinarily helpful and have been willing to go above and beyond their duties to make sure my needs have been met. Additionally, the pharmacy workers have been some of the most patient and understanding people I have had the pleasure of meeting. I want to also counter some of the negative reviews of the pharmacists at this location. I was helped by the pharmacist Martin who consulted me on the best technical plan for an injury. He was kind and helpful in directing me to the most appropriate and effective treatment and also provided some alternative care options. Fantastic Walgreens location!

I have been a loyal Walgreens customer for many years and just had a very negative experience at my local Lafayette Walgreens. I have been refilling several prescriptions for over a year and wanted to reduce one refill from 72 to 34 pills. I went to the Lafayette Walgreens in person to make my request clear. When I got home, I noticed that there was 72 and not 34 pills. When I went back the following day to complain, they told me that I took the order and therefore there was nothing that they could do. I really do not think it is reasonable to expect the customer to count the pills before they leave. Not great customer service.

I WISH I COULD GIVE THE PHARMACY STAFF 0 STARS! DO NOT COME TO THIS PHARMACY FOR PAIN MEDICATION!!I'm 25, chronically ill, and grew up in the Bay Area, but now live in Oregon. Walgreens has never been my favorite pharmacy to deal with but I have NEVER had as horrible of an experience as I did at this walgreens. I was home visiting my family and volunteering at a summer camp for chronically ill kids. While home I had an unforseen medical issue, was cut open and hospitalized, then sent home on pain meds (in addition to all my regular meds, which I refilled at THIS Walgreens with the pharmacist having been rude about one of my controlled substance prescritptions, not recognizing that it was only written for 28 days and not 30). 5 days later I needed a refill of my pain meds, was seen by my surgeon and the script was sent here. This is where I made my first mistake. This pharmacist has something against pain medications, clearly. When I went in to refill, the pharmacist claimed the pain medication was counterindicated with one of my other medications, even though I had been on pain meds and this med numerous times (with absolutely no previous issues), and my doctors ORDERED both at the same time, very well knowing any risks and taking them on because I was CUT OPEN. Once I clarified this, he then changed his argument to say that the doctor didn't say what the medication was for and that I had to have the doctor call them and explain why. I was just in the area visiting and had never been to the hospital I went to before. I had no idea how to get in contact with the doctor that ordered the meds. This sent me into a panic as I tried to plead with the pharmacist and explain the situation. He was SO COLD, SO DISMISSIVE, SO PASSIVE AGGRESSIVE. I had NEVER been treated this way by any pharmacy staff (the medical assistant was also incredibly cold). Not once did they say they were sorry. Not once did they show any compassion for the situation. They treated me like a drug seeker, when I had been in the hsopotal with a serious infection just days before. I eventually was able to get in contact with the medical assistant of the doctor, and she said she would call them to figure this out, though she was very confused what the issue was. When the medical assistant called me later to update me, she said the pharmacist was incredibly MEAN to her and that he DIDN'T BELIEVE SHE WAS A MEDICAL ASSISTANT and made her call the doctor and get him on the line. He thought she was lying, that she wasn't actually a medical assistant. Like I had called someone to pretend to be a medical assistant? This whole thing took almost an hour and sent me into a severe panic attack, to which a very kind walgreens employee of the beauty section responded with an offer of water and emotional comfort. She shared her own experiences with chronic pain and being treated terribly when needing pain medication. She was my life saver this day. She is the ONLY good thing about that store.I will be moving all my prescriptions out of walgreens from now on. They will not get a cent more from me, not after the way they treated me, and I see they treat many others from the reviews on here. I do not recommend anyone on a controlled substance come here if they do not want to be judged and denied their meds. DO NOT COME HERE FOR PHARMACY! THE STAFF WILL WATCH YOU HAVE A PANIC ATTACK AND GIVE 0 F*CKS!!!

The pharmacist that I talked there for Rx refills was very rude to me she just hang up the phone. She asked me how many refills do I want? I told her I am not a doctor and nor the patient so I can't decide. She told me she is a pharmacist so she can do it. I told her I don't know it's up to you how many. Then she hang up. It's very unprofessional if you're having a bad day just go home and take a rest.

Just a quick note to acknowledge the kind and helpful folks who work at this Walgreens, the cashiers and manager, I met. It was pretty chaotic the past couple of days (holiday season) , and I needed help with getting a passport pic, and everyone their staff really went out of their way to stay positive and helpful. Very down to earth and I appreciate the help they provided. Thank you!

Best pharmacy ever! Dr. Martin, Kamal and Adam squeezed me in as I arrived at 6:59pm to fill my prescription. And Dr Martin took the time to make sure, I was clear on how to take the medication. We are lucky to have such a thoughtful and hardworking pharmacist in our community.

in need of antibiotics for a painful ear infection, my Dr sent in the script. Middle of the week. they were closed....for two days. Had to jump through hoops to get the script, driving around, screaming in pain. NO MORE. Moved to Safeway.

The pharmacy here is chaotic. After talking to them on the phone multiple times throughout the day to coordinate and getting hung up on/put on hold in the middle of every interaction, I just came in person to get my meds before they closed. When I got there every single person in line had an issue with them. All horribly managed and treated poorly. An old man simply left to go home and gave up. I never use Walgreens, for a reason, and this experience solidified my experience. At one point all the employees were hiding behind the pharmacy wall while customers were frustrated and waiting for our medications.

This review is for the pharmacy. Absolutely horrible. Unacceptably long wait times. Understaffing is rampant. I've been there several times where 8 people are in line, and only one window is open. They send emails pestering you to refill your prescriptions with 90-day supplies, then refill it too early, so insurance doesn't cover it. Then it takes hours to try to straighten it out and get the proper refill filled at the proper time. I just canceled my prescription and will move it elsewhere. Even CVS is better than this.

I switched my prescriptions to another pharmacy so that I didn't have to come here anymore. There is one female employee at the service desk with dark hair who is always rude and disrespectful.

Very rude cashier, she wasn't helpful at all and gave me a bad attitude when I would ask about my coupons not attaching to some of the products... best to place an order online to avoid this horrible customer service and to guaranteed your extra savings will attach, also prices like 50% cheaper online! Save your self a trip to this particular Walgreens it's HORRIBLE
