I came into the store and the guy working was taking his time with his back turned to the front door eating. I stood there in silence for at least 5 minutes before saying Hi and it turns around and says foe me to wait 5 minutes. He then proceeded to finish what he was doing. He probably would have taken longer, but then another customer came in and said hi to me. I would personally halt my lunch to help a customer. If it is that slow, I can resume after helping the customers. His name Tage said Everett. He looks kinda lanky with dark brown hair. I found his customer service to be dismissive and poor. I hope not all of the people that work here aren't like this.

Had to come in for a live scan. Two employees, Everett and Neil (if I remember their names correctly) were super helpful through the whole process! Would definitely recommend coming here if needing anything, great employees!

Now charging $2.00 per USPS package to be picked up by USPS. This used to be a cursory service that was not charged before. I will go to my store in Palos Verdes Mall or see the nice couple in Virginia Hills Martinez UPS stores who accommodate without charging. They get my business for passport photos and other UPS services from now on. And the employee was not a smooth customer service guy, just doing what ownership had likely mandated day forward fumbling through the explanation. At least they were open on the weekend, but I will not go back to this UPS store for any services.

AGAIN, AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! I wish I had read the reviews. Terrible customer support & terrible service. Paid almost $40.00 for a package to be shipped to Boston. The package never arrived. When I called to check on it, they said it made it to a terminal in Boston and then the contents were lost and the box discarded. When I asked if I got a refund for the shipping since it was never delivered, they responded "No, we did our part!" Their part was to deliver a package to the recipient in 7-10 days. If the package does not arrive, how did they do their part. I asked them to send me a copy of the invoice so I could request the insurance payment of $100.00. They never sent it. I called back the next day and spoke to the manager to get the information sent again and I was told that since I taped the box, it was not packaged properly and the insurance could not be claimed. I told them the box was in good condition and it was taped very well. I asked them to look at the video and told them that they will even see me add additional tape with their large tape gun. The manager at first said, "no you did not add any tape!" I then asked him to look at the condition of the box and the tape on the box. It was well taped. He then said, "oh, you did tape it with our tape gun. That is against store policy!" At which point, I lost it! These guys only view their "part" as running the cash register, over charging for shipping and not delivering any service! Save yourself the hassle and go to Fed-ex, or the USPS! Fed-ex is at 3606 Mount Diablo Blvd, right around the corner.

UPS has record that while within their delivery system, our box had been cut open and the contents were removed. We don't know if it happened by one of the Lafayette store employees or not. But the staff there was INCREDIBLY rude and unhelpful. They refused to assist with the insurance claim....we're confused, unless there's something really wrong going on within this business. With so many mailing options, this store seems unaware that word of mouth in a community is impactful. I will make sure all of my friends know that this business is untrustworthy. Go to FedEx a block away!!!

My wife and I went to this store to return Amazon purchases. They took great care of us! And everyone in the store was very nice. It is a friendly place and I highly recommend the UPS Store in Lafayette.

We went into the store yesterday to do a simple Amazon return. They went above and beyond to make our visit memorable in a good way. Everyone was pleasant. They did a great job taking care of us!

This is my favorite shipping destination. Beyond the friendly team they are efficient and good communicators. I frequent many shipping stores and this one is ranked at the top.

Avoid at all costs. These guys treated me like $hit for no reason and claimed it was because they service “a lot of entitled people”. They should look in the mirror. I was frustrated that Amazon screwed up my return and expressed it (“I’m so sick of Amazon screwing up my orders”) and they totally took it personal. Even tried to tell me that I had to leave for goodness sake. When I tried to reiterate to them that I wasn’t upset at them they snarled “first world problems.” I come from a pediatric cancer family - I don’t need to be reminded what a first world problem is. I told them as much and they rolled their eyes. The nerve.

Everything they do is late.They ignore email from post box holders.They don’t forward mail when requested.They no longer partner with DHL (that’s UPS, not just this store), so anything sent outside the US is incredibly expensive and slow, and this store’s delays make it worse.Only the lone designated “mail forwarding department” staff member and the manager can help you if you have a mailbox there. Possible that no one else can access the spreadsheet they use to look up accounts?They said when I got my post box 3.5 years ago (mid 2019) that they were experts at handling overseas mail forwarding, but every instance of it has had problems that they aren’t hurrying to resolve. I’m trapped with this address now despite the bad service and my 9 hour time difference. ?They do hold parcels for a time. And staff are polite.
