A really fantastic local bookstore offering a selection of new and used books. It's not huge, but the range is impressive and eclectic. The owner is thoughtful and friendly. An excellent Lafayette resource.

Books very reasonable, lives up to name, excellent. Located outstanding selection on French history, and can read a lot about French revolution, even French peasants from 1450 to 1660, highly recommend selection. Great choices of wooden shelving and wooden floors, superb interior design sense. Wonderful lighting choices as well. Walls have been painted in a good color. Many other bookstores do not have as good aesthetic inside and outside, but this bookstore is beautiful. Excellent selection to master the art of cooking, which many people do not know how to do, as well as meals for different kinds of diets and including other cuisine. Saw many plant-based and vegan recipe books. I did find God's Little Princess Devotional Bible with extra-shimmery cover for raising daughter who loves the Lord, very good. Recommend Bible selection as current society fades in connection to faith in some cases. Highly wonderful shopping experience, intend to visit in the future.

What a wonderful bookstore! Rudy and Betty carry a remarkable selection of new and used books in their thoughtfully-organized space. They have great non-fiction, fiction, biographies, young adult, children's books, and more. I love browsing and catching up with them on upcoming publications. I almost always find an interesting volume for myself, or my wife or others as gifts, and when I want something they don't have in stock they can get it within a few days. They gift wrap their books beautifully for no additional cost, and excel at making recommendations for my friends and relatives based on my brief descriptions of their activities and interests. I love this amazing and welcoming place.

Rudy and Betty have created a wonderful spot in downtown Lafayette. They have a great array of new and pre-cherished books, and host creatively designed events. They're friendly and eager to help you find just the right book. I encourage everyone to support this valuable store.

Behind its unassuming exterior, this bookstore is an utter gem. Every offering is well thought out and the selections are excellent. Their mix of new and used is so well done. You will find treasures and temptations for yourself, but also beautiful and thoughtful gifts for all ages. I recently visited Brattle Book Shop in Boston and was nowhere near as drawn into the inventory as I was today at Reasonable Books. And that is saying a lot, but please visit Reasonable Books and let's keep this wonderful resource going!

Very very cute book store with a great collection of newer and classic books alike. The owners are very welcoming and knowledgeable. My family and I have been looking for a book store like this for a long time and reasonable books is an awesome find. They have used as well as new books and even a small free section with great books such as the Canterbury tales and Huckleberry Finn. We will definitely be coming here regularly and encourage others to do the same!
