Ms karen place is so cute! She made it a very fun and comfortable for my daughter. She puts a lot of attention toward the kids experience. You can tell she absolutely loves what she does! Her new place is super clean and adorable. Karen moved to a new location in Walnut Creek with parking right in front. The place was very easy to find and right off of the north main exit. My daughter and I will absolutely be back! Loved it!

My son Connor had a fabulous first haircut with Ms Karen. She was very patient and kind, and made sure the experience was fun and memorable for us parents and our kiddo! I got nervous as she started cutting because I didn't want her to cut too much and for him to look suddenly different. She was so calm and reassuring. His cut was exactly what I was hoping for. We will definitely be back for his next cut!

First haircut or young kids in general... I can't say enough great things about our experience today with Ms Karen in Lafayette for my son's first haircut. Literally everything you could ask for... car chair, Elmo on tv (she has multiple options), first haircut certificate, gives them a toy & a lollipop (if parents approve) plus an awesome job on his wavy hair. Best of all... I called last week & got an appt this week! I called Ponytails in p hill a month ago & her next opening was in July

Ms. Karen is absolutely wonderful! She is so kind, patient and loving, and just what my son needed. Not to mention she gave him the best haircut he's ever received. I will never take him anywhere else now that I've found Ms. Karen. I gave her a big hug when we left because I was so grateful to her for taking her time with my son and making him comfortable. Thank you, Ms. Karen!

Omg! Ms. Karen is amazing!! This was my 1.5 year old son's first professional cut and she was so amazing and patient! His hair looked amazing after the cut and still looks amazing 4 months later! I had tried to cut his bangs and ended up ruining his hair completely so I asked her if she could fix it! Highly recommend and we are definitely going back!

I took my 5 year old and 2 year old for haircuts at Karen’s place and couldn’t be happier. My 5 year old has been very nervous about getting his hair cut after another place accidentally cut his ear. I swear the second he walked I to Karen’s place he felt right at home. She is so warm and comforting and did a great job with his haircut. I brought my 2 year old for her first haircut and Karen was so patient and spoiled her like the princess she is. The whole drive home she was asking if she could go get another haircut tomorrow.
Karen also gave us a “first hair cut certificate” with a little bit of my daughter’s hair as a keepsake. Such a cute and thoughtful way to remember how wonderful her first haircut was. Thank you, Ms. Karen, for doing such a great job and treating my babies like your own.

Our son got his first haircut ever at Ms Karen's and she did a great job. Her salon had a lot of things to keep my kid occupied while she cut, and his hair looked great after. Lovely lady

Ms Karen was wonderful! She made my daughter's day with all of the extra care. We will be back again, specifically for her birthday so Ms Karen can style her hair and put glitter and hair tinsel!

We absolutely LOVE Ms Karen. She makes my daughter look beautiful and my daughter is comfortable the whole time. She asks to come back and see Ms Karen and was so upset when Ms Karen was out sick! Bring your kid here - you won't regret it.

Ms Karen was amazing with my toddler! I took him to her for his first haircut when he was 17 months old. I waited forever because he's so active, I was worried he wouldn't be able to sit for a cut. But by this time his hair was so long he needed pigtails... So I found Ms Karen through reviews and she was just who we needed. There's so much fun stuff in the little room for my son to look at, not to mention the car shaped chair, and she's so observant and agile, expertly managing him, checking for any fearfulness, and dodging his head whipping around to see WHATS GOING ON BACK THERE! I will bring him back to Ms Karen any time, and highly recommend you bring your little ones too.

I took my almost 2 year old to Ms. Karen for his first haircut today and she exceeded expectations. His hair has gotten out of control and she made him look so good! Since this was his first haircut I didn't know what to expect. There were moments when he cried but she was patient and suggested ways to calm or distract him. He made it through and he looks amazing! She took a photo of us after and gathered some of his hair in a small bag since this was his first cut. I also appreciate her rules around Covid. Will definitely come back.

Our son got his first haircut here and it was the experience you dream of...she was totally Covid safe and attuned to his emotions, expertly cutting off his potential meltdowns as she cut his hair.

THIS WOMAN IS NOT GENTLE WITH KIDS! She pulled my daughters hair continuously as she combed through it and she was not friendly or warm. She had a bad attitude and I just couldn't wait for the haircut to be over to get out of there. And her Covid protocol is ridiculous

Ms. Karen is wonderful with kids. She gives an awesome haircut as well. She listens to the kids and fixes their hair so they will be happy. She makes you do an at home Covid test and I am pleased with that. I am so glad that I found her because I've had a hard time finding someone to cut my child's thick curly hair. She did an amazing job.
