“If you don't already shop at The Food Mill, you should start. It's a health food store that's been in Oakland since 1933. My current obsession is their crunchy peanut butter. You get a giant jar for under $10. It's freshly ground, so fluffy, nothing is added, and no stirring is needed! They also have a thousand bulk items, hard to find ingredients, fresh baked treats, lots of tasty fake meats, and the staff is so lovely and helpful.”

“This is a great whole foods. Everything is always fresh and they have products that are not normally found in other grocery stores. The pizza by the slice is large and a great value. Lots of bakes goods and cookies, amd they even have a bar inside.I knock one star off as their salad bar/food by the pound is slighly over priced. If they had it at a sliightly better value I would come in more often (or have certain items at a better price). Doesent truly make sense to have rice and mashed potatoes at the same price as meat and other more expensive items. Possibly have one of the stations at a certain price and the other station at a different price. Thereby seperating main food from complementry food and salad.”

“Whole Foods is an awesome supermarket with a bunch of cool stuff and a very casual atmosphere. They've got the best fruits, veggies, and healthy snacks you can imagine. It's like a food paradise for people who want to eat good and feel good. The workers there are super nice and know a lot about all the different foods, so if you ever need help, just ask!The only not-so-great thing is the parking. It's underground, and the entrance and exit can be kind of tight. If you've got a big car, it might be a little tricky. But once you conquer the parking challenge, the whole Whole Foods experience is totally worth it. It's like a magical land of delicious and healthy food waiting for you inside!”

“We stopped by Whole Foods on the weekend to purchase some items since we had manufactured coupons. The parking lot was busy but we were able to find a spot quickly as people kept coming in and out. When you first walk in, there are self check out station and a guard. There is also a customer service station allowing you to return your Amazon packages. Inside of the store, the aisles were not labeled according, so it was tough to locate many items that I was looking for. Even though it was a busy store, the items in the store is always stocked and cleaned. While using manufacturer coupons at checkout, the customer service representatives and other store customers made me feel unwelcome and it felt frustrating. I carefully planned my budget and since some of the coupons were not taken, the total went over the roof. I would definitely go back if their customer service representative is trained better.”

“I wanted a veggie type juice prior to going to a show at Lesher, and this was the only spot that showed up on my Google maps.I walked here from Bart, and was happy to see samples offered on a cart by the front door. I then knew I did not want celery in my juice and was able to purchase the perfect juice for me. Hydration+Since it was my first time here, the clerk said to download the app and I would get a free shot. easy peasy. I picked Immunity (since I'm going on a flight to NYC in a few days, I'll drink it before I board). The clerk said it lasted a month in refrigI thought everyone working here was very nice (I asked the clerk to read ingredients to make sure it had no celery, and he kindly did so, as I did not have my readers). Most customers ahead of me were ordering the soft-serve freeze treats.I walked away drinking my juice and on to Lesher and saw Crowns (so-so)”

“Each time I shop here I am more impressed. It is just a delight to experience such outstanding service. The staff is so helpful and friendly, always going above and beyond to make sure I am finding everything I need or to answer any questions I may have. It is a bit of a longer drive for me compared to the WF in Lafayette but the Lafayette store has disappointed me for the last and final time. Twice I have paid for items that never made into my bag. Neither time was I apologized to for my inconvenience. The last time I was at the Lafayette location, two employees were in a loud verbal altercation right next to me. Then the deli gal was arguing with a co worker while helping me. Then the sliced salami she gave me was all wadded up in a ball. There was no way I could serve it so I had to throw it in the trash. I could share at least 5 more bad experiences about the Lafayette location but more about the Concord store. Clearly the Store Manager values the staff here and they are happy and they put the customer first. Keep up the good work. I will continue to drive a longer distance to have a better experience and reduce the stress of shopping at the Lafayette location.”
