I tried to use the chevron app but I messed up, so the pump denied me. The guy inside saw this, came out to help. I decided to just use my card… ok. So, before I left, he came out and gave me a bottle of water for my troubles. Very nice!

This is a review of the gasoline prices and nothing more. I sometimes get gas here but not if I can help it. I usually go to the Chevron on Main and Ygnacio in W.C. because they are usually .30 cents cheaper. I was headed in to get gas this evening but saw the price of $6.29 a gallon for regular which seemed high.I was headed to Walnut creek anyway so I stopped there on Ygnacio about 10 minutes later and the price of regular was $5.49!Seriously, 80 cents a gallon cheaper? Chevron in Lafayette please lower your outrageous gas prices.

I stopped into the Moraga Chevron for Gas. I was at half a tank and had several Safeway Rewards to cash in. As usual, I followed the instructions to the letter and entered my phone number for Safeway Rewards, and put my credit card in only for the pump to freeze. This happens ALL THE TIME, every time! I have reported it three times and have had to have help from the staff to get the pump to give me my Safeway Rewards. The attendant came out and of course, we went through all the same steps I just did and it worked fine the second time. The attendant put the pump into my car and when I stepped up and pulled the handle it blew gasoline all over me right in front of him. It has ruined a brand new pair of pants that were a Christmas gift and the first time I wore them. My jacket is now smelling like a gas can as well as my shoes. MY CAR, reaks of gasoline! How am I ever going to get that smell out of my car? What could I have done, I had to drive home dripping with gasoline. I GOT SOAKED with gasoline. I was SOAKED! I am pissed as hell about my ruined clothing and shoes, and the fact that the value of my car has just plummeted, but also want to point out that the danger in this is ridiculous! Should I contact the state? This pump is clearly faulty and should not have sprayed gasoline all over me. It should not have pumped at all unless it was inserted correctly and I was not the one who inserted it into my car. I am livid over this and this station is the ONLY station I EVER use! What gives on the Safeway Program? I've complained three times about the same problem. Trust me I know how to pump gas. I can use a gas pump. When I have had to use other Chevron stations, I have never had a problem. My husband went in over the weekend and just like clockwork, the pump froze and he ended up having to pay cash and full price. I think I am deserving of compensation!

If you're going to advertise that you're open until 10:00pm you should stay OPEN until 10:00 pm, rather than waving off customers at 9:40 who really need gas and count on businesses to be businesslike - by sticking to their hours. You've lost my business. I see by reading the previous posts here that I'm not the first person to find that this gas station has a reputation for rudeness and laziness. Never again. I'll vote with my wallet and buy gas at the Shell station down the street

You can run it, grab your stuff, and walk out only spending a few dollars. Service is grumpy, which deducts a point.

The grown man who behaved like an angry teenager that was working today is very abusive toward women. He was mocking and rolling his eyes at the woman in front of me in line because she was struggling to get the little machine to take her card. I politely stepped in after seeing how degrading he was to her, and asked him to be patient with us (customers) because we don't use these machines every day, and he began mocking me also. I then told him this is a customer service business and he is very rude, and he said "OH! Imagine that! Ha! A customer service business!!" and he proceeded to try to pull the two men behind me into his rudeness, but they were far too polite and classy, and would not stoop to his boorish and petty behavior. Chevron, this is NOT OK. This guy needs to be fired. Undoubtedly, this is a man who can't physically hit the women he serves, so he does it verbally. Horrific.

Ran out of gas on the freeway and forgot my wallet at home. I called this chevron. The guy ANSWERED the phone right away and told me they had Apple Pay. The only chevron to answer their phone or offer Apple Pay in the area. I was able to fill up no problem. It’s also at a great location that’s easy to drive into. THANK YOU!
