Highly recommended!I bought meet for Passover and I have to say all the family and friends super enjoyed and asked me were I got those beautiful stakes.Also they have so many kosher things to buy and prices are awesome.Service was super .Thank you guys .

I'm delighted to have come across this store when I was visiting in Lafayette! They have delicious packaged food from Israel that I ate as a child and almost cried when I saw them in this store. Of course I bought so many things! And the owner is a mensch! Excellent quality and value, with accessories for Shabbat including beautiful natural beeswax Havdallah candles.Definitely worth making the trip to Lafayette again just to visit this tiny store.

I was happy to find a kosher supermarket in the east bay. The store is pretty small but with enough variety. The owner is very nice and helpful. Large variety of meat and it's pretty good. The prices are not cheap but it's acceptable when they are the only one in the area.

Shabbat Shalom Mendo!I just stopped by to grab some Shabbos candles and a couple things for dinner tonight and as always, Mendo greets me with a genuine smile and honest courtesy. I cannot say enough good things about the service, quality and prices at Bay Kosher.The store is close to home, beautifully organized and easy to shop. Quality of the food products is impeccable and again, the quality is amazing.We are regulars here and tell all our friends about Bay Kosher.

Is this place actually open? They have no website. Google, Facebook, and Yelp all list their hours as open until 6 pm. I arrived at 3:10 pm and the doors were locked. A call to their phone number just rang and rang -- nobody picked up and there was no outgoing message. Frustrating, since I'd driven from Oakland to check them out.

This was like stepping into my Bubbe's pantry 60 years ago! So many familiar items, as well as many new things to me. Can't wait to try the pretzel challah later today.

What a wonderful little specialty kosher market! Lots of different cuts of meats and poultry in the freezer, along with unique frozen sides. The cold case has dips, spreads, shmears, deli cuts, and more. The challah is sweet, soft, and perfectly chewy. And the pretzel challah, when heated in the microwave for about 8 seconds, is like a slice of soft pretzel! It'll take a while to work through trying everything, for sure.
